Hey hunters no pics this update, i will how ever get myself to start off the actual grow diary's soon.... time is a mofo

so back why i nearly cried...

This morning after the standard ritual of going downstairs to make a cup of tea...no Englishmen jokes

the kettle was half-way through boiling when my Electricity goes completely.... I enter freak out mode! i run to the fuse box everything is ok..... Panic sets in! many thoughts race through my brain.... almost uncontrollable to what might have happened and what might happen.. I waste no time in wondering, I have girls to take care of, I run to my grow room and start dragging my girls out of there tents and putting them anywhere where there was light and not noticeable through windows, On beds on top of bookcases there was plants everywhere and i still had one tent to clear..... but no more space... I had no choice..... time to check out this darkness period before switching to 12/12.....

This will be my first time of using this technique and i wanted to try it but not under these circumstances and not with 12 of my best plants that's for sure!

So with everything as stable as it could be I run to the nearest house and ask the all important question "Is your electricity out" They look at me with a face of confusion "did you not get the letter" 'No, what letter i replied..... Turns out the Electricity board had sent out a letter two weeks ago explaining that the electricity would be out for about 8 hours!!!!! 8 HOURS!!!!

So with that i say my goodbye's (i rarely see them) and run back to my babies.... I spend my time on fully checking every plant which is out and all are 100% healthy, i roll and spliff and read about 30 pages of my book and to my surprise the kettle finishes boiling I HAVE POWER! so was only 4 hours of darkness when my girls should had light, but i figured 4 hours is still too much so i will continue with the dark period.... its all about experimenting after all

BUT just so happened to be the day where i was going to transplant the rest to there final flower pots and feed the rest which will no have to wait till the next opportunity the moon gives me, So now to read up about this whole darkness period. has anyone done it before? best for 24hours or 48?

Hey Hunters, another lil update

I have fim'd 10 of my girls and will be Transplanting tomorrow and for some it will be there final home in 11litre pots while some will be getting the Luxury 30litre accommodation

due to them growing a bit faster than anticipated i have had to spread them out to the full width of the tent. I was using my 400w MH on one side and a 125cfl on the other until i remembered i had a 400w dual spectrum hps so i took the CFL out of the Parabolic and fitted the 400w dual spec hps alongside the 400w MH in the Diamond shade, again re-fitting the CFL to the standard cable (yes i need a shade for it) to hang in the middle.

So far everything is going perfect no trouble apart from the fan getting a bit to over-powerful and damaging some leaves but nothing major.

Tomorrow i shall re-pot and the week after i shall switch to 12/12 exciting times

Hey Hunters, it's bin a while since my last post. Bin a bit of a crazy week life has bin getting in the way of being a forum junkie hehe

So quick rundown.

New baby and big tent all set up, pics of the baby tent on previous post. The new big Tent is awesome loving the size of it with all the vents etc well made too its 2.4m long 1.2m wide and 2m high. In the Big tent i am using a 400mh in my Parabolic Reflector with a 125cfl hanging above my wounded girls..... as i had previously said life has bin getting in the way so i was unable to pot up all my girls when they needed it... so a few are not looking there best which i'm sure they will improve in no time

All that i have bin feeding them so far is the Plant Magic Root stim at 2.5ml/l

I will be giving them there first proper Nutrient feed soon, With a comparison between GHSC Powder feed and the Plant Magic collection.

Review so far -

The Root Riots have bin amazing i will be using them again in the future just maintain moisture levels in them and do not let them dry out like a friend did

The Plant Magic Root Stim in a combination with he root riot cubes, i have never seen root development so fast but as it was the first time using both i have nothing to compare too but i am in impressed with them both so far!

The next post from me will be in there individual grow diaries per strain. So it will be easier to keep to 1 strain per grow diary to save confusion for me and for you hehe

The pics are from the Big Tent, I still have 5 Super Critical Auto's and 2 Exodus Cheese in the baby tent about 7days behind.

oh and the girls don't look there best as they are fresh pics just after the majority was transplanted/watered with a combination of being in the new tent under the new bulb next pics will be of there usual big n beautiful selves hehe

Hey Hunters, It's now day 9 with the Mixed Grill!

In the last blog post i mentioned the Exodus cheese casualty (decapitation) well because i felt guilty about that i planted two more Exodus Cheese and as luck has it i inherited a pack of 5 GH Super Critical Auto (from a friend who had to move) which are now in germination. So with that 1 death 7 shall be born, they are still in the temporary shelter (cardboard box, 125w cfl)...but new germ/clone tent should be arriving Monday (75c x 75cm x 100cm) which will be perfect.

So Quick rundown;

Soil - Plant Magic Soil Supreme (girls where born in root riots)

All the Doctors germinated and all looking lovely, The 3 Exodus still in germination are showing signs of life and should be above the surface tomorrow. 2 of the Super Critical are near the surface (where planted 2 days ago) and still no signs of the Sweet Black Angels hopefully there are a late starter and come up soon! oh and 1 60 day still to come up all the others are up and looking fine

So grand total 36 seeds 7 still in germination 4 showing no signs of life.

Also the Greenhouse Powder feed has arrived!! Thankyou very much People at the greenhouse

I got the Mostly Indica nutrients so I will be using that on the Doctors and Super Critical Auto's in comparison with the Plant Magic old timer and Biobizz range. I will be making the test as fair as I can and I am looking forward to this very much now and will all these strains it truly will be the survival of the fittest and the fittest with be cloned

I shall do the next update when the rest have germinated and when they are in there new home.

Hey Hunters, It's Day 3 on the mixed grill

All greenhouse seeds have germinated apart from 1 Exodus Cheese where i think she will be poking her head out tomorrow

including the 2 doctors which where planted a day later than the others!

2 of the 60 day wonder's have broken the surface so has all the buddha tahoe's and both rocklocks, only the Sweet Black angel and 4 60 day's wonders to go!

BUT i regret to inform there has bin an accident... i chopped the head off one of the exodus cheese

i have 4 more but from now on i'm being extra careful putting on the lid.... so was 30 now 29....

Other than that everything is fine they all look really healthy, i had to pick off the seed casing on one of the doctors lil bugger wanted to hold onto it hehe so yeah i leave with u with a few pics.

Hi Hunters, thanks for your words of encouragement this will be my best grow yet i can feel it!

Well all seeds had sank to the bottom of the glass and the 4 CC buddha tahoe's where already split!

I popped them into the root riots and voila not even 24 hours after 1 of the Doctors is 1st to show signs of life

I just dropped my 60 day wonder's in the jar and 2 more Doctors and a dinafem blue widow as back up in case the Money Maker's don't turn up!

I figured if they do turn up i will have the pleasure of choosing the best looking ladies

Well so far the only equipment i am using is a very coy Cardboard box with my prop tank and 125w CFL using Root Riot Cubes and good ol H2O and of course a whole lotta love haha

So as a lil Rundown we have

5 Greenhouse - Exodus Cheese (wanted a good cheese to compare to the old cheese which used to be around my area)

5 Greenhouse - The Doctor (Speaks for itself)

3 Samsara - Sweet Black Angel (a recommendation from another forum member)

4 CaliConnection - Buddha Tahoe OG (wanted to see what all the fuss is about with the Cali strains +was a crazy deal)

2 DNA - Rocklocks (2 freebee seeds thought i'd give them a go)

1 Dinafem - Cheese (free seed)

I wont be flowering them all, but i will be choosing the best ones so it's gonna be a survival of the fittest

day 2, with my plan on germinating the extra few panic set in thinking what was i going to use to house my new babies, fortunately a good friend was coming over and within 2 hours new tray with a slight modification fits perfect hooraa

It's that time again

I have put in 5 Doctors (docs) and 5 Exodus Cheese (ExCh) into soak tonight so tomorrow they will be going into Root Riot it's my first time using both the strains and the Root riots so should be interesting!

Once they have sprouted i will be placing them in foam cups like last time with 'Plant Magic Soil Supreme' transplanting into a 6l pot, 11l pot and finally 40l pots.

For the grow, equipment list is as follows;

120cm x 240cm x 200cm Tent

i wanted to try the PM range as it was a suggestion from a friend and i liked the sound of more or less totally Organic and after reading there has bin really good results! so will be great to see the comparison with GH nutes when i can get my hands on sum hehe

I look forward to this more than my last grow, hopefully the Money Maker test seeds will arrive tomorrow! i have a glass ready for them

I have also bin using the Herb.IQ Windows program which another hunter posted up, i'm finding it really good and useful and it will help greatly on keeping the diary and giving stats to the forum

I will be doing a separate diary for each strain to save confusion as i included a few other strains which il post if i think they are worthy hehe

Well this Concludes the intro post to the grow well soak hehe Once there is something to see i will start the Grow diary
