well i don't know if you will find someone to guide you directly on the forum, but if you search a little we have a few members that have decided to do an indian trip, so you might find so usefull infos.

Dont go to the Malana side of the valley (right bank), go dead opposite to Fujal or Hilan 1 (left bank). Purer breeds, no cops, no tourists. Dont stay in Manali, get down at Katrain head into hills 1km there are 2 nice shanty guest houses. Hot water, clean cottages and mums home cooking Mati rules, make friends with her.
