Hi Guys, I'm from South Africa, doing my first grow with some autoflowers in dwc and a led light, I'm going to use Greenhouse feeding powder as recommended short flowering/mostly indica. The issue here is I want nice sticky buds so I would want to use the booster pack aswell but sadly it is not available here in South Africa. Any advice on a substitute that I can add? Would this work. Nutrients are limited here.

	Hello guys.

So i want to start growing again, havent been growing for 3 years now.

Last time i was growing in my balcony, but this time i want a real setup i can repeat all year.

I want to grow hydroponic in a tent... but it seems to be a real sience to find a complete set for 10 or more plants.

I want 600W light (or led, but seems more expensive) and carbon filter in my setup... and of course a hydroponic setup.

Can someone help me find a link for a complete set fitting a tent? my budget is around 700 dollars.

	Hey,

Can anyone tell me why two weeks in I'm only seeing very small growth.

	Water ppm just under 300

germinated seeds then put into 1 inch rockwool cube then transplanted to 3 inch rockwool cubes.

After two weeks roots are only starting to come out of the end of the 3 inch rockwool cubes.

Up until now the only feeding they have got is super thrive with every feeding and 3 inch rockwool cubes soaked in a small amount of flora bloom.

I added a small amount of Epsom salt to the last watering because I don't know if the purple stems are genetic or it's got to do with magnesium deficiency.

I'm moving them to 10 litre DWC buckets tomorrow then onto 25 litre DWC buckets when they get bigger.

	Temps 24 degrees

	humidity 70%

under a 300w led at the moment.

	Any feedback welcome.

Hi Guys and Girls, I've not posted in ages so I hope you are good.

I have a completely new set up 1m x 1m tent, Viparled 675w LED and my own hydropnic setup consisting of 32 liter plastic box reservoir, a cement mixing tray, airpots, water pump and a micro irrigation set.

	Cement mixing tray https://www.amazon.co.uk/Plastic-Builders-Mixing-Cement-Plastering/dp/B017A085W2/ref=sr_1_1?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1473076697&sr=1-1&keywords=cement+mixing+tray

	32 litre reservoir https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wham-Plastic-Storage-Boxes-Litre/dp/6040194316/ref=sr_1_4?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1473076744&sr=1-4&keywords=32+litre+storage+box

I have Airpots sitting on top of cement tray, which I've drilled holes in to allow nutes to drip back into reservoir underneath cement tray.

I used normal garden hose £5 for 15 meters and attached Micro irrigation https://www.amazon.co.uk/Selections-GF4001-High-Quality-Micro-Irrigation/dp/B001RCA2JO/ref=sr_1_11?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1473076860&sr=1-11&keywords=micro+irrigation

My question is how harmful is the green algae growing on the roots coming out of the bottom of the airpots?

	Here's some pics.

PS: Plastic bag in middle of plants is CO2, plants are four weeks today and about to put to flower. I'm using Dutch Pro.

 Hello,

I'm about to grow some white widows seed and im growing hydroponic and indoor. Even though i've been researching a lot is going to be the first time im growing and I have some questions and I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
01- I'm home-growing at a container that the dimensions are about: 1x1x0.35 (Height, Width and Depth, respectively) and we are planing to use 3 different seeds (both feminized), is it too much? Because since is my first time growing, I though having 3 seeds as a safety, because if one goes wrong, i have 2 more.
02- I was thinking of putting two HID HPS lights, 50w and 4000 lumens each, is it good enough for a good yield? (the walls and ceiling both reflect
03- How can i determine the NPK ratio of the plant (Hydroponic)?
04- Some of the data on your week-by-week video (the newest one, not the one 9 years ago), some weeks as time goes by you guys stop putting it, are they the same from the past week then?

05- What nutrients do you guys recommend it to put on the water?
06-How can I manage EC levels of the water? and is a EC probe good for determine it as well?
07- I was wondering for the first week the informations about it, like temperature, humidity, EC, NPK... I don't think you guys report that on the videos.
08- How do I flush hydroponically?
09- Would you recommend topping it? Because my space is limited, and I read online that helps for a better yield too
10- How is the smell of the plant? is it very strong?
11- The dresser is not air tight or anything, we actually made it the door, I'm having two little fans as well, I was wondering how often do I need to open it so the plants get some fresh air.
12- If I do this the right way, how much do you think i can get of yield? Or how much should I aim for?

I know there are a lot of questions, but I hope you guys can help me out, if you know how to answer any question please do, I cant find a straight and reliable answer online for these.

	Guys.

what can I do on the cheap to keep the room cool and mold resistant?

I usually get dehumidifiers but even then I get mold at top corners of walls. I need to eliminate this as cheap as poss.

Also, if I bring air into the room from the house will that be ok as air exchange? or pulling air from the loft in?

OK first off i would like say high . i have been gone for awhile a lot of shit on my plate anyway i have been having this problem with roots growing into the vinyl tubing of one or more of my plants to some degree which lower bud growth . my reservoir is 55 gal and i am running a Lucas formula under a 600 watt hps i do 6 plants at a time and usually end up with a 1/2 pound after each run .now this problem may not seem like a big deal to most . but drive me nut's so i came across these bags on u tube and i was wondering if they would work in and ebb and gro system with the air pruning . my roots have always been white and healthy. i thinking this might help keep them away from the drain and give them the added bonus of a healthy root mass .no another note the summer heat has always been a pain i the ass for me so this summer i will be using a chill for the first time and trying a 400 watt induction light for flowering . so if you have had any experience these bags in and ebb and gro system with hydroton i would like to hear from you thank's

I started thinking one day about water in tubes, hoses, you faucets, bathrooms, all the water channeling in your house, Greenhouses in the world, in cities, everywhere where you use tubes and hoses what are powerd by anything, where is pressure.

My idea is to make underwater rotors(propellers, fans), what are waterproof, durable, and have connections in both ends, so you can put them between any water line(metal pipes, plastic tubes, hoses etc)

When you have alot of them in yout watersystem, then you could regain some power from the pressure of the water what is powering them by the waters moving power. If you have alot of them, then you could easily regain some electricity

You could make those things by any diameter and connection part, so you could easily put it anywhere...

PS: you could put like 2-5 in rotors in it(smaller hose, 5-20 in a lager pipe+ making those things, shouldnt cost much...you just need the same system in it like a hairdryer has, just make it waterproof and put it between a water line?

Is it a good idea?

Little quick thin i made in paint

1) Top view

2) 3D view

3) Electronic sketch ( you only need a genetator in there+ finaly a power suppy, what takes it all in, easy electronical physics)

Just asking because in my 8x8 I have a droopy plant and its chemdog. Temps max out at 30c in the room for short periods but stays around 27-28 normally. Ive been experimenting with going about 15 days during veg between nute changes. Just on the base nutes general hydroponics flora series. No yellow leaves or curling tips. What is chemdogs drout resistance like? Do have to baby this variety more? Just some general questions about her.

Hi all my first proper post on here so be gentle! Got a strange problem with my reservoir, just recently been getting something fall out of my tap water and it's causing my entire res to go cloudy and leaves behind a white powdery substance, id like to say it's limescale. It seems to happen if the water rises over a ph of 8 (tap water round here comes out at 7.4) and it's harder than Chuck norris. Has anyone else ever experienced this or knows how to fixit?

I went to a Hydroponics store yesterday and was talking about the set up I am building. When I suggested that I wanted an air pump to really rumbled the water the guy said the ONLY purpose for adding the air is to break the surface tension of the water to stop slime and bacteria from growing on top. He said it doesn't add any oxygen to the water. Is that true? I'm not an experienced grower, but I'm a reader and that isn't consistent with what I have read or seen on YouTube.
