First off I will say this LED is the best on the market for many reasons. I own a 300W KIND LED and used in comparison..
I also want to point out the vendors customer service when I experienced shipping issues from Amazon.. ( I live in remote Alaska and used to enjoy pain free shipping up until May of 2016 ) then had an issues from Amazons new policy change ( done in private never a public statement ) and it was this vendor who resolved the problem when Amazon wanted to point the finger at warehouse issues and vendor issues.

PERFROMANCE:
5Watt diodes ( need I say more ? ) competitors still using outdated 3Watt diodes..
Lenses on the bulbs magnify the light intensity.
My realtime experience. Propagating / germinating in a 2.5 x 2ft "shorty" grow tent.. I have had to move this light clear to the top of the shorty tent.. some 3ft plus away from the plants to prevent burning.. THATS SOME INTENSE LIGHT!!! plants don't lie
The light is a nice even mix of RED / BLUE lights and covers the full spectrum... I heard of complaint about too much blue / white light.. I have not suffered from this and in fact I find the light to be a perfect mix and has more color that my KIND LED which has a more pink hue..
I would also like to note that it stays cool and very quiet!! it's sleek looking and I can't get over how efficient it it..
Compared to KIND LED which I have had no issue with other than when you compare the two why pay over $300 when you can get an even better light for under $100 bucks... even if this one malfunctions I could buy 2 more for the price of any 3W diode 300W LED..

I am satisfied and the plants don't lie!!!

VENDOR:
when Amazon changed policy and everyone here in remote AK also started experiencing horrible shipping service.. I first contacted Amazon to resolve.. they tried to blame it on the address provided, Okay changed that from a P.O. box to a physical one... Still tried to blame it on address.. issues.. THEN they tried blaming their warehouse technical issues.. THEN they tried blaming the vendor themselves..
I contacted the Vendor and they did the leg work for me and on several occasions back and forth and confirmed it was AMAZON.. I went through several customer service reps.. Now I can say Amazon customer service does a good job of trying to resolve issues and give 10% off of future order perks etc.. to keep you happy and I like that... and it works... But!! they never officially admitted to the policy change and to this day everyone on this remote island continues to have shipping issues ( never was this way pre May of 2016 )
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ?
Because this vendor was in constant contact with me over the entire process and put pressure on Amazon to make it right...

IN CLOSING: Why spend twice as much on a 3watt diode LED ? when you can have a 5Watt diode LED for under $100...
I compared this to my 300W KIND LED and although I still use the KIND... I will from now on buy VIPAR LED's and I have also purchased the larger 600W and it is just as impressive...

HONEST REVIEW... PLANTS DON'T LIE.. THEY LOVE VIPAR!!!
GREAT ON THE ELECTRIC BILL AS WELL ..

I have purchased a greenhouse which I will erect. It is called Vitavia "Zeus 2", Model 8100, manufactured by E.P.H. Schmidt u. Co.
Ive always used a standard thermometer and hygrometer that sat in my grow room but my girl got this indoor outdoor weather station thing and it has a remote unit that u put outside and it registers the outside temp on the unit inside remotly. Well I took and put the outside transmitter in my grow room and I tell u what, it is so nice to just look up while I'm watching tv and keep an eye on my plants without having to actually look at my plants. I've always been in and out of my grow room many times dailey but now I can't get to it as easily as I have in the past. It's not in my house so I have to exit the house so I dont want to draw a lot of attention to where my room is so I stay out. I only go in to check that the lights came on in the morning and I usually turn them and water them if needed just before the lights go out. I'm constantly looking up and checking my temp and humidity. In the middle of the day my temp often runs close to 85 degrees so I'm hovering right there at the red line but I have a window unit ax blowing across the plants so there temps are surly lower. I need to get a new infrared thermometer to check leaf temps but I'm just gonna have to wing it for now. I definatly recommend getting one of these weather stations. It's been a friggen life savor.

Has anyone had a chance to test out any of the Fluence SPYDRx led range, seen some good YouTube vids on them and they look amazing but starting at $900 before shipping they don't come cheap.

After lots of research on different types of lights as well as checking out lots of grow journals both here and over on the 420mag forums and seeing people get great results using LED grow lights and giving good reports on them I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a Mars II 400 grow light and a 70X70X160CM grow tent.

When you check out the grow tents on the Mars Hydro web site/store the appropriate grow light is shown, which is useful for people like me who are just setting out, unfortunately the tent was not in stock, but I noticed Mars Hydro have a presence on eBay so I checked it out and I was able to buy the light and tent together.

Well pleased with the light and the tent both are well manufactured using quality components and materials.

So here are some images showing the light and tent unboxing and the tent set up in position.

Was told about this product MegaBud. Totally gives you huge colas, stunts stretching, etc... which is true... for a price. I've got way bigger buds on strains I've produced for years but in the end of week 4 I have zero crystal production? Three people that referred this product failed to mention that part to me. Anyway I can save this from an embarrassing outcome?

I've been away from the forums for along time. Been a die hard GSC strain fan and grower for a very long time.

I'm at a crossroads in my career... Been using Advanced for a decade almost and am just sick of the price increases and expense it has, sorta makes you puke in your mouth looking at my yearly expense on buying 23L's of a majority of there line 3-4x a year.

I'm from Canada and the GSC feed is finally available but not popular at all. i think taking a leap of faith scares most people. My concern is the performance of the nutrients. It would obviously be a lot easier to use, and way more cost efficient.. but will it produce the same results?

Anyone have first hand experience with using it on a fairly large scale, like 800-1000L per watering?

No more hustle with soil and pots/transplnting etc. Masive rroots and bug free plants - sounds good to me. Anyone got experience with one or both systems or something similar GHE Cutting board etc. ?

The most astonishing new product on the market comes from REMO once more. He got a deal with a Cannabis LAB and seels the tool you need t take a sample of your regular ganja seed. You can select a sample once the plants are 2 or 3 weeks old. You cut off a tiny piece of a leave and print that inside the folder, Put that along with the others inside an envelope and send it of to that lab. Within 3 to 4 days you get a Text message or an e-mail with the results - Check your numbers and see if you got a winner or a male. That means you know which plants to keep and how many females you got. Instead of Vegging all regular seedlings and put them in flower , risking to pollinate your precious flowering plants you save a lot of time and a lot of works. Transplanting them to bigger pots etc.

You get the clue- I might actually run a batch of my regular seeds with this KIt. It can be ordered via kmc in Holland along with the other nutrients by REMO
