Hello family and thanks a lot for comment and good energys!! Let´s GO!!! Strain Hunters Live - Swaziland - day 1 Greetings family, here we are again with all our pleasure to tell you every day of this new adventure, for me, the first thing I want to do is to thank you for your confidence in my work and to be with you is this new trip. This is my third expedition as a photographer of Strain Hunters and I hope to show you more information than ever, because experience is so difficult to acquire and now I have some. This time we go to a small country in southern Africa, Swaziland! We have a long plane ride to go, almost eleven hours from Amsterdam to Johannesburg, I have to come to the Netherlands a few days before to work with the team in the office and prepare the logistics of the trip. Last night came the other camera team, this time there are some changes in equipment and new colleagues, I will introduce them with time, but from the beginning we understood very well. We went early to bed to rest and get some energy, we had to wake up early. At six o'clock the alarm goes off and we are on the way to the airport, as always it is a mess... items of luggage, suitcases, computers, cameras ... we must be careful not to damage the delicate material. After waiting our turn we finally boarded and began our long journey. Most of them fall asleep after a few hours, it costs me a lot, so I dedicate myself to take some photos and short videos of the team. Through the window of the plane you can see a beautiful lightning storm. The first day I use compact camera that I have, as they use to give me troubles with the other camera, and do not let me take pictures but with the compact camera and putting a face like a fool I am safed. I still get warning not to take any pictures from the other passengers of the flight, just out the window. But I have enough. So it's time to see a movie on the plane and let the time run. Finally we arrived, we have broken the ass and the rest of the body, the more anxious as Franco and I, have serious problems to withstand the urge to smoke any longer, so we went with luggage carts rushed like a race LOL! The best of all is, as usual, we had nothing to smoke, it is very dangerous and could screw up the trip by some splifts so we only have cigarettes, pff .... Franco makes magic and before reaching the door of the taxi has contacted to two natives, do not know how, but he got a bit of grass, great! This guy has contacts up in hell and if not he does them in two seconds. We go directly to the hotel, some beers, a couple of joints and rest, we still have far to go, but for now we will overnight here. I hope that tomorrow you follow us on our adventure, let’s start the party! Greetings, Mr.X. Saludos, Mr.X. ...more photos coming....

Greetings family, thank you very much for the comments. Indeed all the plants we see in this thread are cultivated with Powder Feeding. From genetics I can not tell much more, the expert is Franco. When I'm doing photos I´m very focused in my job, and sometimes I don´t remember all I see on the gardens. In these rooms, there are many genetic, some are already on the market and other developing for years. I leave another photo, I hope you enjoy! Peace and love!!

Due to austerity cuts the police heli numbers have approximately halved in the uk still not perfect but 50% is better than nothing. standard mylar not really any use , better buying more heavy weight aluminium anti dtection foil, which should still be used with insulation for best results, probably not nescessay for you coz of you small light and ample insulation. This can be pricey £15 a meter on ebay. A total of 5cm of insulation is good and should do the trick make sure you fill the gaps an expanding foam filler, don't want any chinks in your amour. Hiding exhust is the most difficult part, you could use an ice box heat exchanger (needs a source of water which chills the air as it passes through a small radiator) someone has made a diy one on rollitup. vent down into a sewer if you can this is the simplest option but not always possible. This might sound a bit odd, but get a small chicken coop and run and buy a couple of chickens vent into the coop and this will keep them warm and there is nothing suspicious about a warm coop (this aint for everyone i know!) one plus is you get eggs too! Vent into a near by green house , during the winter months i used a green house heater to stop the frost damaging my citrus plants. if you do this make sure you have some evergreen type plants in the green house or it will not be convincing , warm greenhouse no plants! (make sure you use insulated ducting and make sure is well hidden/diguised) running a long length of ducting under ground which will cool the air before it emerges (obviously not to deep, your not mining for coal, make sure the ducting doesn't get crushed). A good carbon filter is good, also as you said adding ozone is even better. Cheap ozone generators can be bought from aqarium suppliers and dont have timers which limit the time ozone can be produced (this is what you want) they have a small airpump and air line which can be inserted into the ducting post filter. If you can afford to rent a flir camera then do so, this will show you exactly whats going on and wether you have covered all the bases and how efficient your anti flir methods are. Small heat signatures are not normally a problem, but any heat venting directly from a lone shed in a garden and the shed shows no heat signature (due to insulation) would be of interest to the skycops. I wish you the best and please share your results with us after you have put in place all anti flir measure and have done a flir test, the information would be helpful to others doing the same. I wish you luck and hope you are able to resolve all these issues. Peace Lams

Hey Hunters I had a chat earlier with HC01 another forum member and he mentioned about using Honey on his feed schedule 1ml/L and then 2ml/L towards the end of flowering. This made me very interested in this thus has made the Topic of the day for me and after a little searching and reading, there isn't very much information our there on the subject but from what i could it helps it helps a lot! Personally i think Honey is a Incredible food and has antibacterial properties, i use it instead of Sugar for my Cups of Tea one spoon in the morning and then at night and i swear it helps my throat and breathing and apparently its good for the immune system, teeth and finer nails so being a smoker every little helps hehe but the bit of information out there on using it on our plants is all a bit inconclusive and as there isn't a post about this subject well it led me to create this one. The applications i have found so far are - HC01's method of 1ml/L then 2ml/L towards the end of flowering, that's one feed with honey then next feed with Nutrients and so on. - Using Manuka Honey for Clones/Cuttings - Using it to sterilize and protect fresh cuts from Fim/Topping techniques So my Question to everyone is, What is your past experience's with it and what are your thought's on using it? Peace

Lao Chicken Soup (Tom gai sai sa) "Tom gai sai sa" in Lao means Boiled Chicken with marijuana. This is a Lao chicken soup dish with the addition of ganja. Ganja has been used in Laos since ancient times for recreation and medicine. It is knowledge amoungst Lao people that Ganja is good for treating bad cases of diaorehoea and stomach pains. This dish is a traditional way of consuming ganja that the whole family can enjoy. Although ganja smoking is not something that is done by everyone, Ganja Chicken Soup is something that all members of society can partake in - men, women, old people and children. It is not seen as a bad thing and is accepted as part of the culture. They say that they eat ganja chicken soup and then "muan"- have fun. I have tried this soup many times and it is good. However if you are a heavy smoker this might give you just a small mellow feeling - but for people who don't normally use cannabis, this soup can get them really high! For 4 people You need: Half a chicken sliced onion 1-2 sticks lemongrass big slices of ginger some galangal slices (if available) some whole corriander root 1 decent sized Tomato (Sliced) a little Tamarind (optional) water salt to taste a generous amount of Ganja 1) put the chicken in water with the sliced ginger, sliced galangal, and lemongrass and onion. Begin to boil. 2) When the soup has been boiling for a few minutes, add the ganja and the corriander root. Add salt. 3) Boil untill well cooked and all the flavours blend into the soup. Near the end of cooking, add the tomato slices (this adds a little sourness to the soup). Enjoy.

Sure Tokage- The Pros - good self feeding system, can be used with clay pebbles, Inner pots are easily turnable so you can manage growth under lights. Timer and feeding system relatively easy once sussed out. The Cons- You have to keep the runs of your water lines as straight and level as possible or in some cases it will cause certain pots on the run to not fill up properly (air locks) also the pots seem to retain about 150ml-200ml of feed solution that never seems to drain back fully to the res so some manual tipping is required. Copper discs are supposed to be used in the bottom of the bucket to prevent roots growing to the feeder pipe - but often find this floats when the bucket is filling and will constantly touch/burn the roots during feed/flood. The first time i used this system with clones the roots were starved of oxygen and plants died - i have drilled a hole in the top of the inner pot lip, fed an airline through with an airstone on each pot -this has helped greatly( without it it doesnt work) Hard to work with in confined spaces- tents etc Some extra work is require for stealth - the feed pipes that pump back to the res just hang at the top of the res in mid air and create a noisy toilet refilling noise - i had to drill some holes and fix pipes with cables ties against the side of res so was water runs quietly down the sides and not dripping/dropping from a great height Like most systems its something you could make yourself and probably better! In reality its paint pots/large catering mayonnaise tubs with holes drilled into them connected to another larger pot and res both operated with small sort of sized aquarium pumps Be careful with the electrical fittings/wiring to the brain pot- my wire had no solder on the points and easily detached from box on brain pot stopping the flood/feed action so had to hard wire back together If i had the money or a time machine i would go back and get DWC prob still from these guys Hope that helps Tokage

Going indoors is your best bet for getting a nice bit of bud growing. shortest day (winter solstice 9 hrs daylight) Average hours of sun in december 3.5 hours a day. average weather conditions for greece in december are windy, fairly wet & cool, with snow in the mountains. freezing weather kills cannabis. cold and wet weather can lead to moldy plants. You've made the right descion waiting untill march to grow outdoors, good luck with your indoor grow. Don't forget to show us your pics Peace Lams

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
