86 likes25th Cannabis Cup more info; http://cannabiscup2012.com/ DATES FOR CANNABIS CUP 2012: 11/18-11/22 If you don’t know what the Cannabis Cup is, then you have probably been living in a cave somewhere. This has become the worlds premier Cannabis festival. Started in 1987, the Cannabis Cup is now in its 25th year. It always takes place in Amsterdam where the marijuana laws are most lax and allow for the larger scale event that the Cannabis Cup has come to be. The festival has traditionally centered all activity around the judging of different strains of marijuana, usually coming from many of the coffee shops around Amsterdam. But beginning with the 6th Cannabis Cup, the founder Steven Hager began fusing counterculture spirituality into the event. The High Times Cannabis Cup now typically includes live music, comedy and an expo for marijuana-related products from cannabis-oriented businesses. This event has become very popular over the last several years and many tourists go to Amsterdam specifically to attend this festival. We are here to offer you any pertinent information regarding the 2011 Cannabis Cup. Please browse the information below as well as our blog and other pages to get more information about the Cannabis Cup 2012. Also, be sure to check out our Amsterdam Coffee Shop Map. Cheers family!!!

17 likesWhats up community Down here for a new season and journal So whats news: Iv upgraded the "tree house green house" since my last grow so now i have about triple the same to grow up there Although this greenhouse is a safe spot, i need more bud at the end of a long day - Time for some guerrilla mission - Shittttt i hope i don't get arrested :pogranichnik: :pogranichnik: !!! Iv been busy on a spot down the road in Forrest area where i will hopefully have about five large females. I found a new spot in an old house where i can plant about another five to ten females. AND then there is the tree house which can hold about four large plants or ten small. So that's the plan for the next coming weeks, a couple spots (diversification of investments ) not too far away, and then my secure tree for a assured harvest - all organic :) Everyone wish me luck, last time i guerrilla'd a motherfu*%# chased me through the bush :fie: As for this seasons seeds For the guerrilla spots: - cheese x local landrace (10): I got these seeds out some mega dank and cheesy bud. Its a cheese that's been crossed with one of our local landrace seeds. I'm hoping they will be very cheese like but still thrive in the outdoor climate. - Original Berry FEM(2):- Kannabia Seed company. I got this seeds free from a friend who originally bought them from a customs officer from the airport ! This is AFRICA - Crazy Miss Hyde FEM(1): - Samsara Seeds. Also from customs, came as a freebie - Other strains will be added to the gardens as they arrive For the tree house: - Original Berry FEM (3) - Sugar Mango Ryder Autoflowering FEM (1) - Kalashnikova Autoflowering FEM (10): Still to arrive from Greenhouse SO EXCITED FOR THESE ! So there's the plan and the strains that will keep me busy this summer time I'll fill you in on the soil mix, nutes and other details later in the journal I can feel it, this one is going to be good. Here's some pictures of the little babies, they are about a week and a bit old now Down below there is also a picture of 3 small plants that were indoor- I needed pollen and they all came out female Anyway This season is off to a good start Thanks for checking it out Outdoor all the way

9 likescomming from "clicanoo.com" the site of "journal de l'ile" news paper from réunion island google trad: The site "strainhunters.com" is as serious, fueled by an English adventurer, who specialized in the observation of cannabis worldwide. In an article posted on May 9, the author Franco is as passionate about cannabis and "strain hunter" for the Green HouseSeed Company. Basically, it is "researcher varieties" for the Society of seeds of the green house, or the Society of grain green house ... Choice. Seriously, Franco explains that zamal Reunion is a very special variety, which allows two harvests per year, far morethan other cannabis. As a musician he met Reunion which tried unsuccessfully to cultivate this zamal in Africa, he concludes that our cannabis péi needs its environment Reunion to keep all his qualities. And suggests that this environment is the rich volcanic soils and the rainforest. Until then, we understand. But where there follows the most is when he explains that this environment is also the magnetic fields of the two volcanoes (Fournaiseand Piton des Neiges) that disrupts the reception of satellite TV and small flight instruments had ... Jusque-là , on comprend. Salu2

5 likesReceived the seeds + Hybrid powder 2 weeks ago and kick started 3 seeds the same evening... Two of those made it into seedling form, one sported the tap root instead of the leaves and after 10 days or so I tossed it. Instead I started a new replacement seed in the nirvana Propagator Pro I ordered for this contest. Same story - the seed grew the tap root - but i noticed it early enough and turned it around in time. Now it starts fresh again and stretches towards the light..(if you look very close you can see it above that empty cube hole inside that nice Propagator) I got a homemade grow room with 2 lights - 400 watt HPS and/or MH. Holds up to 10 plants at the same time in 4 gallon pots. A Veg room with 2 55watt T.5 neon lights - Bright white and regular white - 9.600 lumen / 6.300 lumen. For the most critical stage = sprouting and taking the seeds to Veg I just ordered this nice Propagator set with root cubes perlite & bacto. (Got another well hidden 10 FREE seeds in a tablet strip on top - nirvana mix regular - nearly tossed it without discovering the seeds !) Nutes are Greenhouse Powder Feeding Hybrid, Canna FLUSH / Rhyzotonic BIO / PK 13/14. HESI Super Vit, Plagron Vita Race and Bio Bizz Superzym plus molasses and a ph tester from GHE incl PH Down powder 250 grams. You can see that stuff lined in front of the water bucket.. Seeds get watered first, then in towels , next in Jiffys, Grodan starter blocks or the new mini root cubes I like best and used for the 3rd seed. The first 2 were rooted in Grodan starter blocks. They were put in small pots with the usual COCO/PEBBLES mix I want to use for this grow. These are the facts so far. I took some pix when the goods arrived. Had to reload my camera batteries in between - Finally got a picture from tonight that shows the state of things atm. Pictures show the first 3 seeds starting out - First try to get the correct EC numbers from the powder..lol Had to add the same amount of water to get the 1.9 I wanted.. The last picture shows the 2 DAMNESIA seedlings catching T.5 Neon lights... Rooted fine but one leave got burnt a bit, but the first real leaves are coming fine.. Next pix show the seedlings..may they prosper !

5 likesHi I received my package from ghsc - thank you very much! Got MoneyMaker x 10, dvd & Mostly Indica Powder Feeding. As i read strainhunters forum Franco wrote MM is Master Kush so great genes. It will be bare bulb stadium vertical grow in soil. Setup: 2,4 x 1,2 grow tent - 2,88m2 450m3 ventilator + carbon filter and 30w ventilator for bare bulb on the floor one 600w lumatek digital + philips and there will be second lamp in the future 15l and 20l buckets - Money Maker will be in 15l buckets, 20l buckets already used soil mix - universal soil + 15% coco 2 weeks old friends of Money Makers are: WhiteWidow[GHSC]/Skunk#1[sS], XtremeIndica[FS]/PakistanValley[WOS], WWxBB[FS]/Skunk#1[sS] ph meter, ec meter hand watering and foliar feeding (for cannaboost) - i have AN Nirvana, Hesi SuperVit, Atami Terra Flo, Canna PK, CannaBoost, Canna Terra Vega, Plagron Ph+ Ph-, Mostly Indica PowderFeeding 1kg, dolomite I will use PowderFeeding on MoneyMakers and change my feeding schedule - but not sure how, probably use PowderFeeding + SuperVit + Boost at the end. Seeds: Germination: Germinated on tissues after 12h bath in water, seeds are very fresh cause half of them germinated in 12h and in 24-36h all were ready to plant. Best quality of seeds 10/10 germinated and 10/10 is growing right now - now everything is in my hands! Good job GHSC! They are second day under 250w hps and waiting few days to get stronger and travel to main tent which i will describe in nxt update Peace brothers! Already got snow in my window so hope my new sun will cheer my heart

5 likesthx guys, all going good so far... All ten with their heads up standing tall Because i had to water the cubes i decided to explain a little more detailed how i go, its gettin interesting now in my eyes. My tapwater is at EC 0,3 PH 7,5 First 3-4 days i add small amounts of Rhizotonic, like half of the dosage recomended. But this raises PH to over 8, ive seen almost 9. PH - is my new friend for this case. 3 drips on 1,5l pinned it between 6 and 7. EC goes slightly over 0,4 One more thing, i like to keep them short on the water, as short as possible. Much water has only done harm in most cases... I inject 2 shots of 25ml to the cubes when i find them dry... When i put them to the soil i start with the powder feeding, all details on that to follow. peace

5 likes@Jimmy Thanks man,the good work don't stop never on my garden @Fran ¡¡¡¡A Que Si!!!!!!!

4 likesdrying update !! almost on the 3rd day of drying alright so we are comming up on the beginning of day three so i thought i would take some quick pictures just to show the progress of the drying process as of now the bud's are obviously still wet they are also really oily and sticky and i feel it is gonna take alittle longer to dry because of this but i am dead set on not cutting any corners when it comes to drying and curing this crop i already went out and purchased new larger jars with rubber seal tops and am keeping a close eye on things i am guessing at least 5-7 days will be needed to dry this crop properly in my settings. Exodus cheese over 60 hours after being cut down. GHSC Powder feeding KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!

4 likes@Dust Thanks for your comment and thanks for your daily visit @Bam-Bhole Thanks man, comments as this help the cultivator for do a good job DÍA 3 - NO ME COMAS LA OREJA Pues hoy se me ha ido la olla con el titulo de la actualización,pero he pillado una foto que parece justo eso.

4 likesWell, yesterday evening i controlled the bottom of the Grodan Delta cubes... 4 of the 10 had already showed roots, so i decided to transfer them into the next bigger rockwool. For that, i just dip the cube in the water and push the small to the big, simple as that. I like the cubes and use them always, never saw some overwaterings or struggle birthdays of the babies. If they dont throw the shells of the seeds away on their own i help them slightly, did that to 2 of the 10. And thats the result of my evening shift... 10 happy babies, save for the next couple days... may them keep up their speed !!

3 likesthx friends... We can take this day as a second start date, well i do this. You can do whatever you like lol. I say this because the girls travelled right into the big pots and further into the HPS room. The room is now running on 800W with the full stock of plants. I mixed up my 3 ingedients of the soil mix to same amounts: With a 1l measure can i added always 4l of each in a middle sized box. This way, mixing over 100l of soil is alot more "clean and easy". Plus its 100% proper mixed, every pot the same. Last view on the roots of MM until cutdown I think you all might like this self explaining pictures, its nice to follow for members that come to this thread later. Reading all of the text is hard work but everyone looks at the pics. So from now you find the key facts inside the pictures... Here is the whole "gang" The last girl has moved inside too, same mix, 7l pot. 18/6 now for everyone. On 12/12 the last MM will move back to veg tent possibly. peace and keep it all nice and growingreen.....

3 likesthx Jimmy. The reaction on the EC 1 powder feed solution was so good, that i decided to to a little powderfeed dedicated update. When you do this little amounts of feeding like i do, a good scale that u really trust is a must have... As u see i added 0,55 gram on the first ltr. But i keep another 1ltr of tap water at my side to adjust. Sometimes i do re-adjusts again, after all i have my 1,5 - 2 ltr of feeding solution. As you see the babies are well... Maybe one or two days left before soil and hps starts. They really keep up the powerful look and grow, but the stretch stopped. The stretch between grodan cube and the first pair of leaf is something that may look a little weird, but in the 12l pots the girls will look a little(lot) better next here at potting, peace

3 likes- Week 1 I put 2 White Strawberry Skunk seeds in a Shot glass with water and the same with 2 Damnesia seeds. In the first pic you see them chillin on the Subwoofer listening to Deep house beats for about 6h After that each seed came into a plastic bag with some toiletpaper and 1/2 of the water from the shot glass per bag. I spilled some water after the 3rd seed so the last became less water. the last seed sprouted the fastest....interesting The seeds had about 0,5cm tails as they were planted. Damnesia II (the last seed) apeard on day 3 the rest on day 4 I have chosen a 18/6h cycle

3 likesFINAL UPDATE!!!! Day 64 of 12/12 EXODUS CHEESE!!!!! ok so today i cut the big beast down, and really its quite amazing that even with only 300W's topping the exodus once turned the plant into basically 4 plants it takes really well to being topped i honestly wouldent be suprised if i yeild over 4 ounces off this one exodus thats my guess at least but we will see when everything is finnished drying the bud smell like heaven my hole room and rest of the apartment reeks my roommates got alittle nervious becuase it smelled so much and we live on a really busy street but the harvest went great the plant is a fairly easy plant to harvest a really nice ratio of calyx to leaf anyways here are the harvest shots enjoy!!!! for everyones listening pleasures!!! GHSC Exodus Cheese & Powderfeeding keep it simple!!!!! i wanted to add these pictures to show you guys just how heavy these buds get the second i cut the supports the buds hit the ground serious weight!!!! i know i posted the picutre backwards but i figured the order isent that important just as long as the buds are covered top to bottom!!!

3 likesphotos from yesterday - money makers went down on the floor - biggest plants will be highest - i didn't give any nutrients to big or small plants yet - just plain water to big plants & nothing for money makers - ph6.9 low ec water - high moisture about 65-75% temperature 25C and during night about 15-20 - i have to add something to increase temperatures - main problem will be with moisture during flowering but this is something i can't change maybe to 65-60% hope so - made first cuts from back of the big plants to fit the training screens photos with hps ON cause my other lamp broke down - that's why they are what they are... money makers right side of tent left side of tent whole party first cuts... peace!

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
