Hi guys this is only my second grow report and I have luckily been sent some White Strawberry Skunk (WSS) Seeds and 1 Kg of Hybrid Feed, to enter this great competition. It was my intention to get these growing after my first dable with GHS, but as in everyone's lives things conspire against us. Anyway soil finally sorted and ready to grow. I was a little concerned at the lack of grow reports for WSS and problems with a couple of the other reports i had read and was a bit worried. So i will also be growing the remaining seed I had from my last grow! A GH White Rhino with GHF and a White Widow freebie from Royal Queen. I am going to compare my normal Hesi feed Vs Green House Hybrid feed (GHF), so this being the case I have planted 6 WSS seeds, three will be fed with Hesi and 3 with GH Powderfeed , I only planted them Friday and to my amazement and excitement 3 have just appeared, did not do anything to fancy when sewing my seeds, got some small pots and filled with shop bought easy mix, Soil with and worm cast, pumice stone, twigs etc Ph 5.8 - 6.2 . I then poked a hole aproximatley 10-15 mm below the surface and popped in my seeds, gave them a drop of warm water and left them in a dark warm cupboard. 4 days later here we go. They will also get some clay pebbles when i need to replant them into there 12 litre pots. Getting ahead of myself already, patience. Once the others have sprouted I will leave them in the daylight for a day, then move them under a 400w HPS for vegging. I will leave them there until they reach the 4th internode. They will be sharing the light during vegging with 3 DP Think different Autoflowers , so to waste as little light as possible, once they are ready for flowering will spread the plants below 2 x 400 HPS. I also have a fan or two for the grow room and that is all. Quite a basic setup, but i believe if you get the fundamental basics right (Heat, light and feed/water), then you can achieve decent results. So hope you enjoy the report. Look forward to your feedback, and questions feel free to ask.

The Green House Seed Co sweeps the 25th High Times Cannabis Cup 2012 awards in Amsterdam by winning first prize for the overall cannabis cup, first prize for best Nederhash, and first prize for the best import hash. Jason Mraz was given the honor of presenting Arjan & Franco of the Green House the awards. Every year around 2500 'judges' flock to Amsterdam to vote for the best cannabis in the world, and this year the majority voted the Green House's Flower Bomb Kush as the best cannabis available in Amsterdam. Furthermore Green House's Sharkberry Cream won best import hash and their Lemon Crystal won best nederhash. The High Times Cannabis Cup has been held in Amsterdam for the past 25 years and is known as the most important cannabis competition in the world. Earlier this year Amsterdam was still fighting the new Dutch legislation which would introduce the weed pass, a measure that would ban tourists from the city's coffeeshops where marijuana can be smoked legally. Several weeks ago the mayor of Amsterdam announced that the weed pass would not be implemented in Amsterdam, so the High Times Cannabis Cup will continue to flourish in the years ahead. Hey everyone, in the latest of times ive finally started germinating 2 Caboose's! They will be grown in soil! 8 Feb Germination started, Little general info: Both seeds germinated in less then 30hours. Powder feeding started -/-. Technique used; I am using acouple of cotton pad's, keeping them in a pitch-dark box with a humidifier on the left and a heating-element to the right, with the lid ontop of the box semi-open for letting fresh oxygen and a fine fog from the humid'r down & in. Condititions; For the first 8hours of germination i had 26°C (78,8F) & 99% RH, i later changed this to 23°C (73,4F) & 75%-85% RH. I'm keeping such a low temp since seeds are indica. Keeping them moist & a steady eye. Setup i will use for propogating & vegg'in is my 200W CFL & a little Vents-100 fan. The setup i am using for flowering is a 400w hps at the moment, hoping to get another one before week 4 flowering. Mylar on the walls. I have prepared a container for their seedling stage, it is a small pot made out of mainly peat, i have some positive experience from it, but i've done alittle experiment this time; I first made a very "airy" mix with only the smallest hydroton pellets, a soil already containing "mini-clay-peb" & some vermiculite. I put the mix in theese peat-containers, i dig out the middle of the mix, putting only soil i the middle of the container, then i water it heavy, like flush them. GreenHouse powder feeding all the way! My other Caboose, you can find it here! Peace!

Then add big rock Then add gravel and pebbles from river Put some soil in and leave till needed ! Any animal dung can be put in now too if ya like, few months too rot down wont do any harm. Camo it up Water tank with last years pot soil, will tier whats left into this, hopefully 6 ! Need to know who or whats fucking with your plants !!!! Counter surveillance Green ops style Aint gonna be posting weekly till April but thought id get started - Good luck all

Happy days 10th flowering day Quite confident I will be the father of at least 2 girls WSS2 and WSS3 (crinkly pheno) , maybe one hermie as WSS4 showing signs of both male and female, shame as it's is a great big strong plant and WSS1 has not quite made it's mind up yet, Thinking male but see what you think. I will wait another week or so to make give them the full opportunity to show there sex.

Good morning brothers and sisters, it's that time of week again Im rather impressed with the MM's as they are really coming on nicely. I've had ups and downs with my gardening this week. The down has to be 2 of my 5 blue cheese in full bloom have hermied on me The positives from that are... 1. Some ice hash extraction is coming earlier than thought (I love that stuff ) 2. None of my Money Makers are showing any signs of the 'H' word. As the blue cheese is quite an established strain it's a real testament to the MM's resilience. Something has pissed off the cheese somewhere along the line and it's puzzling me. They are all in the same room with the same stresses Anyhoo.....enough of that and some of this..... As you can see the powder is doing wonders. Any questions please ask as I realise there was no txt on the second page. You may also wonder why im not showing my pH levels, I'll get to that later in the grow 'Pic of the week' (Maybe not as clear as others but my fav )

GHSC WHITE LEMON #2 powderfeeding and general organic's bud update!! alright so today is the 5th day of drying , the bud's are getting there nearly dry enough to put in jar's maybe 1 - 2 day's top's, i have to say one thing tho about this white lemon by far it is the highest quality strain i have grown so far in my time growing indoor, so many rock solid frosty nuggest that just stink of like a really fresh widow haze combo. the last day or so of drying i like to take the plant's down trim them and stick them in open tub's to just sort of slow down the drying process a little, right now even with how big and soild the nuggest are it is dry enough to where you could smoke a joint of it right now but i like it just a little more dryed out so i am gonna wait till tommorow sometime to put the lid on th jar's. i am gonna do just a few picture's to show the quality of this strain. once its fully done and been in the jar for a week i will do the weight in and post the result's but this is just alittle something for the mean time. this picture is alittle dark but i wanted to show a picture just in room light before i show the picture's taken under florescent lighting so people doing think i am playing camera tricks. this is the top part of the main cola from WL#2 i had to take some bud off the bottem part because it was too big to fit into the jar. same bud but under better lighting. more white lemon #2 this hole update is white lemon #2 those last picture's where just under a florescent light, here is one with the flash to show the difference. now this next picture is the whole plant sitting in a 2L tub and this last one is the same tub but without the main cola just to show that there are alot of big nice bud's from this one plant again this is just a little teaser of what's to come once everything is down and what not i will take better shot's of everything and weight everything out to show yeild per plant and my total harvest yeild anyway's thanks for sticking around everyone and there is still more to come so stay tuned for that in 2 day's i am gonna do an update for the other 2 plant's still going strong.

Hi Guys , thanks for popping in and having a look. Today is the last day of Veg. From sprout it has taken 28 days till this point. Tonight they go into there first day bloom , so the fun begins. No sign of any problems and deficiency's so very happy for that. Upped the nutes to 14 Grams and it looks like they are handling that for now. So its 14 grams into a 25 liter DWC bucket which put the ppm at 471. And after Cal/mag they range from 511 to 534ppm. The Damnesia has grown 7cm in 4 days and the WSS has grown 8.5cm in 4 days which leaves the WSS the winner this week. Thanks to everyone for having a look and leaving comments , ill do my next 4 day update on Thursday again.

If you buy more then 1 seed from a seedbank such as a pack of 5. Selecting the right mother is easy as growing all the 5 seeds out unti almost switch to 12/12, clone all 5 of them and label accordingly select the best / most vigorous pheno of out of the 5 clones to be your mother after flowering the original seeds you can match the labels from those flowering with the clones to decide

Saludos familia!

Alright, time for this weeks update!!! 44 DAYS SINCE SPROUTING Thanks again friends for the nice comments and for enjoying the grow :)..I am hoping things get more exciting from here. Since other than the watering schedule and a few short comments I really didn't write much in my journal I will sum up the week here, post the watering schedule then onto the pictures! For the group pictures, for anyone not familiar with the strains, to make it simple the Super Lemon Hazes are the narrow-leafed two which are a little smaller, and the Trainwrecks are the thick-leafed bigger plants Training the plants is a daily thing, especially with the screen in now and can just be assumed, so I don't bother to write it in my journal as it can be repetitive enough sometimes As well I've only listed the "Environment" stats once as they have been pretty steady. For anyone who doesn't like long journals..here are the 3 main highlights! #1 - The Trainwrecks are both showing female pistils #2 - The screen is in and the LST becomes a SCROG - I've modified the screen from my first grow and SCROG by adding the bamboo poles for structural rigidity and to help keep the plants from pushing the screen upwards so that the canopy remains more even. #3 - Tomorrow is the last day of 18 hrs lights on and their vegetative cycle. Since I have two strains that like to stretch the screen is as full as I think I want to risk letting it go and they are 4 VERY tight bushy plants with tons of bud-sites waiting to stretch and explode..let's hope anyways lol So..my power bill goes down as the excitement goes up!! As mentioned, the screen has been in for a few days now and the plants are filling it out nicely with the Trainwrecks already taking up 50-60% of their screen space. The new LED's continue to perform nicely and I'm very happy with them so far, you can really see how well they seem to penetrate the canopy in the underskirt pictures where things are looking very much like a jungle! You may notice that the plants run-off EC is a little high, and you also will notice that I have been watering with much lighter nutes lately. It would seem that true to Grodan’s word less nutrients are needed when using the rockwool grow plugs as run-off EC is fairly high for the EC that has been going in and the plants are super green. Luckily no major damage has been caused but it is interesting to see the SLH's pick up growing speed as I've dropped the EC to a level they are more comfortable with. So, I've learned a lesson for my set-up, and will be even more conservative with nutrients in the future. Grodan advertises that when using their rockwool Grow Plugs or Cubes that less nutrients are needed as the medium gives up the nutrients (cations) much easier and I think I am seeing first hand evidence of this. In the end, this is a good thing since less nutrients means less $$ :) The Trainwreck #2 continues to need water every 3 days while the others are sticking to their every 4 day schedule and they get about 6 L each water right now, although I am bumping it up to 7 L next water as run-off is decreasing. Trainwreck #1 still has the yellow leaf fringes which I now think may be to a bit of lock-out of something due to too high EC. I'm going to run at least 12 liters through them, and the SLH's, with an EC of about 1.0 with their flowering nutes to clean them out and prepare them for flowering. I will then also start using the Sensi-zym to benefit the root zone by keeping it clean of old dead matter and boost growth through enzymatic function The two SLH's are looking really healthy and are full of bud-sites but things are so tight you wouldn't notice at first glance. I'm anxious to see them stretch out a bit and open things up The smell from the tent is pretty awesome even though they are just in veg..I can't wait for the full onslaught of smell once flowering really kicks in. I am assuming it has something to do with all the short little leaf trichomes that are already so sparkly on the leafs, especially the SLH's which smell REALLY skunky. The TW's smell surprisingly and pleasantly fruity. I know that these are just preliminary smells but I am learning to enjoy and appreciate all the different stages of smell that they go through. So that is a glimpse of what has been happening, here is the watering schedule and a few more details, and of course the pictures Hopefully by next update we will see some nice pre-flowers if they turn quickly. 18/02/13 – 40 days since sprout Watered TW #2 with 6 L r/o + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus (required w/ r/o water) @ 1.25 mL/L x 6 L = 7.5 mL EC: 0.58 DNF Enhance pine oil (protects against fungi/pathogens) @ 1 mL/L x 6 L = 6 mL EC: 0.04 DNF Green (3-2-0) @ 1 mL/L x 6 L = 6 mL EC: 0.04 GHSC Mother’s Powderfeed @ 0.4 g/L x 6 L = 2.5 g EC: 0.74 Total EC: 1.40 pH: 5.9 Temperature: 19°C Run-off EC = 2.25 Run-off pH = 5.9 19/02/13 – 41 days since sprout Tasks: - INSTALLED SCREEN! Are cannabis seeds legal in Morocco? I know that in Spain side cannabis seeds are legal so no problem there, but what about Morocco side? Of course I would wash the seeds very pure from bud particles before carrying them over the boarder. I'm talking amounts like 1-2 kilos or a bit more of seeds. Same question for Lebanon, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Iran and thats pretty much all. Thanks who knows or who can refer me to some trustful site. I have been looking, but google.com only shows me a wide variety of seeds sellers. If there exists such a site with seeds legibility info, it would be very cool as I would like to know some Asian countries and Central Asia legality also, but the most needed info at the moment is related with Morocco. If such a site don't exist, it would be well worth to create this list as everybody knows for sure theirs country laws tho muslim law is very different than our European continental civil law or common law (UK, USA and many others), but it should be still be certain. Thank you.

Never added any nutrients, this was the only plant to get miracle grow seed starter soil. Then a big ass ant chewed of one of the leaves. Hate the peat pots ?? I have moved them to 1 liter containers once I saw the roots coming out the bottom and sides on day 9-10. I just need to get them thru 2 more weeks then to the woods we go. I gave up on rando and shipped him out side already, if rando makes it thru the next few weeks should have a wicked head start on local flora. Berry bomb day 12 the Girls 1 liter and some Jiffy Pop, pop corn I sprouted as a test

hey guys... so today day 13 of veg... they look fine except for one who was kinda struggling for any reason... ph is set between 5.5-5.8 and EC is around 0.9 . i'll will spray later on some fishmix (1-2ml/1L) . i will also start proper training today, i will bend'em really low , except for the one who's struggling. i also got my hand on some nice steelwire net i rise the ballast to 100% and those girls are still on 18/6...and i think i'll veg them more than expected, probably another 10 das or so ,and i'll manage height by bending,topping,fimming... willl see on time .i really dont want to have over 1m high plant, like i had at my first try ..

03/03/2013 as you can see the roots are long enough to be planted so here i go, planting in 1 gallon air pouches with a 50/50 coco/perlite mix. to plant i dug a hole in the pots, laid the long roots in and pushed th coco mix back in the hole to stabilized to roots ,then sat the jiffy plug on the mix buried it with the mix on top. now i add 1 scoop of gh powder feed to about 10L of water thats been left to dechlorinate for 48 hours that gave me a EC reading to 1.0 and PH was ajusted to 5.8 . gave each of the 8 plants just over 1L of feed put them under the light turned the light hours up from 12 to 18 and switched the dimmer up from 400w to 600w time to let theese babies grow .

people have to remember that cannabis is NON TOXIC....cannabis is great for morning sickness, aches and pains and just plain old blues from being pregnant. I used cannabis for morning sickness and it was fantastic! No way would I take pills from the doctor. we all remember the flipper baby horrors. cannabis is not toxic and will not harm the baby in moderation. I say moderation because sitting in a room full of cannabis smoke will harm the baby due to lack of oxygen! LOL....

Week 6 of flowering. Everything is going as planed. Alle ten plants have their vevry own characteristics one being short and bushy with early resin production while the other nine plants are tall and again all with different characteristics. Some of the tall girls have the same early resin production as the short one while others let the resin production waite a little bit longer. One girl in particular have a early and rapid resin production covering all buds from top to bottom in a compact layer of resin all the way out on the big leaves close to the buds. She is tall but she dosnt stretch witch enables her to form one big fat bud the size of 1, 5l bottle in the top and alot of vevry nice buds on the lower branches. Two of the other tall plants are making long tail looking like buds and the resin production on thise girls are as far as week 6 way more sparse while the yield from thise at this point seems to be the most significant. One thing that all ten plants share is the intens and incredible smell of super lemon haze side of the genes and in one plant in particular its vevry obvious that the super lemon haze is very dominant in the white lemon but the genes from the el nino shows of in most of the ten different phenotypes I got. Here is some pictures taken with the grow light off.. sorry for the bad quality. .

My last one was Pioneer DJM 400, that was by far the nicest mixer I used - Also had a Numark Matrix 3 after the Ecler - both couldn't stand a chance vs the DDJM 400 but you are right ECLER is spain's best and the quality is good - they are fun to use. Keep on rocking and growing

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
