6 likesHere's some good info that dfwi sent trough e-mail to some of us Hunters. So I'm passing the word to dfwi, enjoy! You cut the poppie about 300mm down the main stalk and remove all the leaf then just cut up into peices so it fits in the blender. Then add water about 4 to 5 times more than plant matter and blend real good you end up with the green sluge you see which we pour into a pot and simmer on high for about 30 to 40mins you dont want to rapid boil just a constant high simmer. after about 40mins we pour it threw a strainer some use cheese cloth others fancy mesh i just use the kitchen wipes works then we squeeze and are left with the green brown water i just throw away the cooked plant matter some i'm shore will tell me there is more you can get from it and i'm sure you can but i dont bother after this we transfur it into a larger flatter dish to do the final cook off now we get this simmering on a super low simmer we are trying to evaporate all the water you can see the build up allready on the side this slow simmer can take up to 1hr my-be bit longer but this is where you need to be paitant you dont want to burn it. once all the water is gone you are left with pure opium you just scrap up of the bottom of the dish Man am I getting wasted tonight Good health and Happy dreams to you all, I am going to go and get all fucked up ......................peace dfwi Thank You, Dfwi!!! Anyone of the receivers could have done it, but I had the time and the will so I did it.. I hope it was done in the right way, with all the info and pics. Take care

4 likesVery cool man I lived in the kullu Vally for almost 8years back in the late 80's early 90's in a little village called Koshla about a 3hr hike up from Vashist. At the time I was the only westerner the villagers had seen. I rented a whole 2 story house for $120US a mth. I had fresh milk delivered every morning and wasnt allowed to do my washing (thats a womens job). I was growing with the locals and was given my own plot and highered the best rubbers back then a rubber got about 50rups a day I payed 300rups and they loved me. I would take about 10kgs and run it down to Goa and sell to the tourists then after x-mas would head back to the mountians, best time of my life. I plan to retire there

3 likesOver the years I have seen lots of UK people looking for "Everclear" and asking where it can be bought in the UK. Everclear is made in the USA and is a 95% grain alcohol and is unavailable in the UK. I have seen people post that it can be ordered from the USA but this would be an expensive way as you would have to pay shipping and customs duty and probably VAT on top of that, howevr I did check out the site mentioned and they were outof stock. However help is at hand from our Polish friends who also make a 95% grain alcohol which is called "Spirytus" Which is eqaully good as "Everclear". They are essentially the same product made by different manufacturers in different countries. Spirytus simply means spirit in polish. There are several different polish companies that sell spirytus, most of which are part of the state owned monopoly called Polmos, which is now being privatised. For example there is Spirytus Delikatesowy (95%), Spirytus Domowy (95%), Spirytus Krakowski (95%), Spirytus Lubelski (95%), Spirytus Łańcucki (95%), Spirytus Monopolowy (95%), Spirytus Wratislavia (96%) and Spirytus Rektyfikowany Luksusowy (96%), to name but a few. Just Google "Spirytus UK" and you will find a UK supplier, it will cost around £25-£30 for a 500ml bottle. 95% Grain alcohol is used to make "Tinctures of Cannabis" and in the final stage of making "Absolute Shatter". WARNING - Pure grain alcohol should be diluted by at least half if you are considering drinking it! WARNING - Alcohol Tinctures should not be given to recovering alcoholics, instead a Glycerine Tincture should be used. Peace Lams

2 likes17/12/13 – 20 days into 12/12 Hello friends It’s almost 3 weeks into flowering and all plants will be getting a light flush next water with 18 L each plant of very light nutrient solution (except the El nino which just had a light flush). 18 L is just under the volume of the medium. I would flush with 2 x the amount of the medium but the plants condition, having not been feeding them high concentration nutes, and the run-off numbers say 18 L should be enough. I wanted to wait until they had begun to really bud before flushing them with the exception of the El Nino which I think needed it most. Resin formation has really started to show on the Trainwreck plant and she smells super sour, a top shelf plant for sure. She is showing some red now on the fan leaf stems and is probably wanting more phosphorous or something since flowering so strongly and not giving them a ton of nutes, or maybe the opposite and wants a flush, hard to say. The other 3 are budding nicely as well now but aren’t anywhere near as far along as the Trainwreck that seems to pile calyx on calyx overnight. Lots of crowded and lower foliage has been removed. I’ve really started to remove the big fans a few at a time per day on the El nino that seem to want to block prime bud sites and so far the plant has responded nicely. Lights on temp. = 25 - 26°C rH = 42 - 50% Lights off temp. = 20 - 21°C rH = 38 – 45 % For any numbers geeks out there (like me!) here is what has been going in (and coming out) of the plants since my last “data” update with data...a long time ago. For those who find the numbers boring, I know there are tons, please scroll ahead for the latest pictures and as always scrolling over the picture should reveal the name of the plant. I apologize about the crappy quality..I didn’t have the camera on the best settings and I know there are a number of images that are almost the same but had different lighting or angles and couldn't decide so I included them both. Stay safe, happy and high! PEACE 06/12/13 – 9 days into 12/12 This morning I woke and checked on the plants (the lights go off at 5 am) and found the big Trainwreck REALLY light and wanting water with a lot of turgor pressure gone from some of the leaves (limp leaves). She could have/should have been watered after only 2 days! As it is I will water her as soon as the lights come on with about the same strength as last water – next water will be a mini flush with 20 L of water and really low feed strength I think. Light feed Trainwreck #1 w/10 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1.25 mL/L x 10 L = 12.5 mL ppm: 320 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 1.5 mL/L x 10 L = 15 mL ppm: 10 DNF Carbo Logic @ 0.3 g/L x 10 L = 3 g GHSC Hybrid Powderfeed @ 0.27 g/L x 10 L = 2.7 g ppm: 260 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.15 mL/L x 10 L = 1.5 mL ppm: 30 pH: 6.0 Temperature: 20°C Total ppm: 620 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff (ppm in – ppm out) Trainwreck 6.2 900 280 07/12/13 Light feed SLH #1 w/10 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 260 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 1.5 mL/L x 10 L = 15 mL ppm: 20 Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy @ 1.5 mL/L x 10 L = 15 mL ppm: 60 GHSC Sativa Powderfeed @ 0.05 g/L x 10 L = 0.5 g ppm: 60 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.15 mL/L x 10 L = 1.5 mL ppm: 30 pH: 6.1 Temperature: 19°C Total ppm: 430 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff. (ppm out – ppm in) SLH#1 6.2 640 210 08/12/13 – 11 days into 12/12 All plants are now not only showing pistils but are starting to actually flower. It’s really noticeable on tops of the budsites and more so on the Trainwreck, then the SLH’s, and lastly the El nino. Light feed SLH #2 w/10 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1.1 mL/L x 10 L = 11 mL ppm: 280 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 1.5 mL/L x 10 L = 15 mL ppm: 20 Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 40 GHSC Sativa Powderfeed @ 0.05 g/L x 10 L = 0.5 g ppm: 60 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.125 mL/L x 10 L = 1.25 mL ppm: 20 pH: 6.1 Temperature: 20°C Total ppm: 400 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff. (ppm out – ppm in) Trainwreck 6.3 770 320 I’ve been doing a little bit of leaf removal around the bottom of the plants, as well as some sucker bud sites that will not amount to much, nothing major until I’m sure the stretch has stopped. Budding has begun nicely with all plants showing lots of pistils now and bud tops starting with the Trainwreck leading the way budding overnight it seems. They could all probably use a good flush and I think they will get a low-medium strength dose of nutrients next water then a good flush with lots of water the next. I was going to do it earlier but thought flushing before the stretch stopped might be a bad idea. The exception being the El Nino which I’m pretty sure needs the flush the most and will get it tomorrow I think. I’ve noticed some copper colored spots that I think are indicating a bit of lock out possibly; hopefully the flush will help. 10/12/13 – 13 days into 12/12 Light flush of El Nino w/18 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1 mL/L x 18 L = 18 mL ppm: 270 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 0.55 mL/L x 18 L = 10 mL ppm: 10 Advnc Nutrients Bud Candy @ 0.55 mL/L x 18 L = 10mL ppm: 30 DNF Enhance @ 0.55 mL/L x 18 L = 10 mL ppm: 20 GHSC Indica Powderfeed @ 0.1 g/L x 18 L = 1.8 g ppm: 100 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.1 mL/L x 10 L = 1 mL ppm: 20 pH: 6.0 Temperature: 19°C Total ppm: 420 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff (ppm in – ppm out) El Nino 6.4 530 110 Interesting observation - run-off pH is a little high for having ran through 18 L of 6.0 pH water 11/12/13 Feed SLH #1 w/10 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 270 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 10 DNF Enhance @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 20 Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 40 GHSC Sativa Powderfeed @ 0.3 g/L x 10 L = 3 g ppm: 280 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.125 mL/L x 10 L = 1.25 mL ppm: 20 pH: 6.2 Temperature: 19°C Total ppm: 640 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff. (ppm out – ppm in) SLH#1 6.3 680 40 SLH#1 was definitely ready for food and she could have probably taken a little more than I gave her but I want to ease her up to stronger feeds and want to err on the side of caution and underfeeding if I can this grow. I’m testing to see if I can still harvest a good yield without pushing them too hard and figure the smoke will be sweeter if it’s easier to flush any excess nutes at the end. 12/12/13 Feed SLH #2 w/10 liters r/o water + Botanicare Cal Mag Plus @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 270 Advanced Nutrients Sensizym @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 10 Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy @ 1 mL/L x 10 L = 10 mL ppm: 40 GHSC Sativa Powderfeed @ 0.3 g/L x 10 L = 3 g ppm: 270 DNF Potassium Silicate @ 0.125 mL/L x 10 L = 1.25 mL ppm: 20 pH: 6.1 Temperature: 19°C Total ppm: 610 Plant Run-off pH Run-off ppm Diff. 1 likehi man! NGood to see that frosty lady she is looking very nice with all those tops For the Flush, usually 10 days is what i do, but in hydro i believe it can be shorten to 7 days and even a little less with your Florakleen product, but personally i don't like too much those products, i know it's totaly stupid from me and they are safe from what everyone say.. but what do you want my guts don't like it haha So yeah i think 10 days in hydro might be a little long for the plant withtou nute at all as there is no medium to balance it till the end, i would tend to say days but wait for the hydro pros to confirm Have a good end of grow man!

1 likeUpdate 2. So on Friday dec. 20 I will be putting my girls on 12/12. Took some clones to keep on going
-
1 likeWonderful positive attitude. I recommend the use of sterilised soil to avoid the pests you had earlier. If those pests are coming from within your grow area, you may need to do a little preventative spraying and cleaning of the grow area. Good luck with the grow WeedFarmer. I will follow your thread as Internet Access allows. Continuing with my transitional activities.

1 likeWell that saved me from making a post haha Cheers Guys i think i'll be trying these out in this grow i'm about to start and i shall drop in the odd update

1 likeGaz i think some are really due to stress. But i got 1-2 plants that are really advanced more in flowering then all the others. Besides from the red leaves the fimmed plant has some burned like leaves. Sry didnt occure to me to take a closer picture of this... i will do one later today. Anyway here's the update 2 Budshots ! (2x doctor) Here's a few pictures of the cheese ladies Doctor: Here's the whole bunch taken together (plant upper left corner is the fimmed one i talked about earlier) Something i couldnt resist Here 2 new gadgets i bought yesterday. Like always i tried my best to give you the best pictures. I litterally take about 70-80 pictures and only end up with about 10 average each time Greetings Riina !

1 likeCanna is the bench mark many other companies try to obtain but fail. they are 1 of the oldest if not the oldest producers of hydro nutriant they no there stuff. easy to use and always great results. Just be a-wear mixing organic and chemicals together unless you no the full make up off both and mineral % in each bottle which no product I no fully disclose you could be mixing bad mix. Unless you have a mineral separator and calculator about 15 grand in lab equipment you are just guessing. Mixing brands can only courses problems only lab equipment can diagnose. Whatever nutriant you choose just stick to that brand as they are designed to complemet each other.
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
