4 likesHi Guys and Girls, Haven't been out to the guerilla girls so here's some more of the greenhouse auto girls, I'll start flushing them today and harvest at least three next week. I have no idea which plant is which as I didn't label them straight away and then couldn't remember, haha. I'm guessing that the two tallest at the back are the White Widow and Royal AK, just because they are behind the others in flowering and they take the longest WW 10-12 wks, AK 9-10 Wks, although these are well over that, I think because I transferred from 20/4 under lights to greenhouse at around 15 hrs getting more as it got nearer Solstice. Peace y'ole Toaor

3 likesWell a week has passed by and I've had nothing but rain for 6 of those days. I was worried my plants would drown, but they survived and are still growing. Just after these pictures they got another dose of Powder Feeding Mother Plant fertilizer EC 1.4. So here are this weeks pictures.

3 likesHi Guys & Girls, just some pics of the Autos in greenhouse. 1 x Royal AK, 1 x Creamatic, 1 x Critical, 1 xWhite Widow, 1 x Bluematic They are all well over their supposed ready time by at least 4 weeks! I started under lights then transferred when started flowering into greenhouse where light hours were less than under lights so not sure if that slowed them down. Enjoy. Toaor

2 likesI've already started this thread, but just noticed I put it in the "Indoor Growing Journals" not the "Outdoor" so I'm redoing this here where it belongs. If an admin can remove the thread I started in the Indoor section or can delete it as it doesn't belong there. Sorry about that. I had just received and tried some 29.2% THC Headband from my legal Licensed Producer (good price at $7/gram) before posting so you can see how easily I made the mistake :-) I know I'm a little late this year, but I had to hold off as I was getting new windows put on my house and didn't want any workers seeing my babies. Even though I'm growing legally here in Canada with my Cultivation license from Health Canada still valid while the courts decide if the government can take away this right they gave me. Once again I'm using basically only Powder Feeding for fertilizer. I do add a couple of other things, one being Super Thrive, 4 drops per 20 liters (great for root growth) and Ormus which I add one type once during veg and another type I use once during flowering. Neither is a fertilizer, but an additive to bring in missing elements to my plants. But Powder Feeding is the only fertilizer being used. The growing medium I use is Pro Mix BX Mycorrhizae, this is put into 20 gallon (75 liters) The Mycorrhizae is a Biostimulant that allows your plants to more easily absorb nutrients. I then PH the water to the instructed level and EC to using the same instructions that came with my Powder Feeding. This year will be the first with Powder Feeding that I am measuring PH and EC. I'm after perfection this year. My seeds were not started until May 24th, so by the time they germinated and were put in their starter pots it was June. The pictures I'll now post are of all my stuff to fertilize, test and keep my babies growing up to big fat girls. I'll be sure to post weekly updates to share progress of these unusual strains I'm growing this year. All seeds are from Ace Seeds as they have the most creative breeders with some very nice varieties. What you'll see me growing this year are 2- Kali China (Fem), 1- Nepal Jam x Kali China (Fem), 3- Nepal Jam (Standard seeds) and 2- Erdpurt (Standard seeds). I'm hoping that I get a least one female from each of my Standard Erdpurt and two females from my 3 Nepal Jam Standard seeds. But I'll be taking exactly what mother nature decides I get. I could not get feminized seeds for these two strains and I really wanted to try both, so I'm taking the chance. So without further ado, here are my first pictures of the year. Nice to be back growing, it was a long cold winter.

2 likesSup peeps? Hope all is well with yawl. Yeah we say yawl (ya'll/you all) But that doesn't mean we're retards. We just have a different "swag". And unfortunately we have a lot of that roaming the H-town streets now days. When I first joined, it was my first time hitting some real "FIRE" in 18 years. That opened my eyes & sent me on a quest. I became a novice grower, teaching myself everything I could find about "MJ". (not Micheal Jackson either) I posted some pics of a homemade grow lab I was working out of at the time. I've since moved around & set up a grow spot in a rual part of Colorado with one of my Boiz. I go back & forth, less back these days. I'm back in H-town where times have changed a bit. At first I had to hide & whisper about cannabis, now it's all over the news & in print. Which brings me back in here. I want to take Houston to the next level, as we gear up for the decriminalization of MJ in Tx. Yeah I said it. Don't believe me? Just watch, 2017. Thsi year was my first official year off the streets, out of the black market, & into the politics of this new industry. I have years of playing dirty experience, but on this approach, I'm being Mr. Nice Guy. The tell all candidate, so to speak. I don't have a hidden agenda, I'm not down with a corporate sponsor, I don't report to an underboss or warloard, I'm just here to "rep" the average Joe who finally can compete with the big dogs. I want to start a podcast called "Da Green Room". It's a show that will introduce H-town to the cannabis world & lifestyle & introduce the cannabis world to the H-town way of life. I'm looking for anybody out of the Houston area to get at me if your interested. I'm a member of Houston NORML, RAMP, & a couple of other local groups. Most of my "Hood" smokers have no idea about most of the groups I'm in, that's why I want to start the show. There's a whole "nother" smoker's world out there I want to be the H-town guide through. I'll keep you posted..... Da Green Guru

2 likesHey Brother! Glad to see your nice and healthy plants again!! You still have some of Kog's seeds??????? Ffs i germed and donated all and had to get rid of my blooming ones at the beginning of the 5th week.... FFs if u have a male, please try to cross them and save those genetics (as far as i know they r chronic crosses). Keep em green, and can't wait to see them planted out. I am doing 15 green poison fv this year outdoors, they suppose to get rdy by early sept. Will be interesting to see which one gets rdy first! Good luck man!

2 likesHi Guys, thanks for the encouragement. I went back yesterday for the first time since I planted them out some 20 days ago and they are both doing fine, see pics. I've also got 3 x Hollands Hope to go out plus 3 x Kog seeds from the famous Ozzie grower Kog - Sent to me by a friend about 4 yrs ago, not all germinated and they are regular not fminised but I thought I'd give them a go, here's a couple of pics of them all plus 5 x Autos in flower now in my greenhouse. The three at the front are Hollands Hope, three behind are Kogs. The rest are the Autos in flower at various stages some are 10-12 weeks to finish others are supposed to be 7-8 weeks but so far they aren't! Peace y'ole Toaor

2 likesOK heres the pics 1.) platinum OG bud 2.,3.) Is it snowing inside in May in the desert? platinum OG front right Blue dream other wise 4. -5. ) pure kush buds 6.) sea of Blue dream with 4 weeks to go 7.) Blue dream bud at 43 days of flowering (see thumb for reference) 8.) P OG Bud I would say on day 44 of flower things are coming along nicely. Checked the ph of the soil and it was holding around 6.0 - 5.9 for the dreams and P OG . I prescribed a slight rise in pH of the moisture for 6.0 - 6.5 and additionally adding more moisture to the water only cycle in an effort to correct and stave off salt build up in the medium. (no perceived lock out deficiencies yet.) see yall in 10 days . thanks for watching.

1 likeTime to get on with the next grow.... This grow I am going with Cotton Candy Cane. I am also going to have to swap out my 250w HPS/MH for a LED system due to the summer heat (40c+ in the tent). So tonight I am going to order a MARS II 400w LED unit. It seems like a good solid build with decent enough support and a fair price. So the setup this time will be: MARS II 400w LED lighting DRS60 Tent (60cmx60cmx140cm) 20 litre DWC Bucket 14 litre p/min Hailea Air Pump Extraction: 4" Systemair Fan & Budget Filter Intake: 4" Inline Fan 6" Clip On Fan Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom Lets hope this turns out as nice as my last, I apologise to GHSC for not growing out your genetics this time round, but I am going to the UK Product Earth Expo at the end of the month so I will be picking up something from your booth, maybe some powder feeding if you have any on sale! 1 likeThanks Elvis. I've been in & out of smoke shops, but never really favored one. As a old school smoker, it's been few times I even needed to enter a smoke shop. The only 2 real needed purchases that came from them was a grinder, which I still have, & a custom ash tray. As you know, you can buy papers & blunts from any corner store. Lord knows I hit plenty corners in my days.. But right now I like Smoke Dreamz on Westhiemer, cause it's the closest to the J...

Peace, peacemaker

1 likeToday first time for all my life in my door ring a cops. But good that is they came not for me. they need signature on protocol about stealing from a neighbor room. And I of course had nothing about this. Don't I opened that door, but it could happen like that I wait before its make my fater. this is my lucky, maybe... and only I see cops I go and merged in toilet aroud 20g of not to so good ganja from outdoor and 2-3g brazilian cubensis. I think they hear that all toilet watering but I have nothing about this, I even forgot to close the next door when I saw cops maybe it is make better who know... My carbon filter working 4 season and working good. It is pretty well. But I have tired with that all.

1 likewhat a difference a week makes here are some pics from just a week later (end of week 4) 1.) PK bud 2.) plant (please note expansion of bud sights from 1 weeks continued growth) 3.) Blue dream Bud 4. ) Platinum og bud sight 5.) bud field before 6. -7.).) Bud field after (please not Platinum og bud sights on front right plant for comparison ) blue dream grew another 4 inched during week 4 definitely slowing but buds definitely thickening. Oder is much more pronounced and an increase in the trichrome development was very noticeable . soil is showing a very slight drop in pH in the iIndica dominates from 6.9 to 6.7 during the last week. However the hybrids (BD & Pog) showed no such drop and are holding steady at 6.4pH. all inputted moisture corrected to 6.0pH prior to watering or foliage application root wad temp is a solid 68 degree Fdaytime room temp is 78 degrees F.Room humidity is 50 -55%. no noticeable insect activity upon close inspection of undersides or leaves. Some yellowing of lower leaves was noticed. I attribute this to older leaves that are being consumed. . i prescribed removal of some of the small under branches on the hybrids due to poor health from a lack of light getting to them. this is going to be a very sizable yield perhaps up to 25% over last harvest.

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
