Just a quick update on my Kalashnicova outdoor grow, despite her poor start in life which was down to my ignorancy and a late start, Mary is not about 3 feet tall and she has been in flower for a few weeks now and I am just keeping her as happy as I can as she matures. When the weather is shit I move her into the shed under two fluorescent lights, I replaced the existing tubes for warm-white fluorescent tubes, the light has more red in the specturm for flowering so when it is cloudy she is getting better quality light, plus if it is raining I can pop her inside the shed and control the moisture content of the dirt. So at the moment I am just keeping a close eye on the colour/hue of the stamens a few of which are starting to turn to a hue of brown and the trichomes on the sugar leaves by taking lots of photos to document everything so I have a reference and I can monitor progress, and I am doing shit loads of research on harvesting, drying and curing. Due to prohibition and regulations here in the UK and me havin a bit of form I did not create a grow journal for obvious reasons, although once the deed is done and I have harvested I will create a grow journal for this grow and share my experiences and lots pics of my sweet little gal Mary. The first image is of Mary in the shed, the colour is starnge due to the warm-white fluorescent tubes, the second image is a close up shot of the top of the plant in profile as it were, the third image is of the top flower and the fourth image is a close up of the top flower. Thanks again to Cannabissapean and Dust for your advice when she was a sad looking seedling it was much appreciated guys.

Hi there, I have joined this community because of realization one, so called Quest. It lies in one simple thing: introduce some of the greatest CBD strains having almost zero (legal level) of THC. In my country in the centre of EU it is 0.3% of THC and CBD, as in many other countries is legal. From my research, these strains are available as a cuttings in American Dispensaries. So is the quest how to get them here? Maybe.. Maybe it can change the way how people can deal with the laws and help them overgrow it. Maybe it will be big win in personal health for thousands/millions of people. And maybe it wont mean anything. Thanks for your reaDING Psionic

Hey Shanti, Thanks for providing this guide. I have recently harvested some bamboo and would like to start building bongs and pipes with it. My bamboo is still green and I was wondering whether or not I would need to let it dry and become brown/black before use? Also, you do not mention treating the bamboo with wax... I do not know how essential this is but I have read about people doing it to prevent inhalation of bamboo particles. One love

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
