its day 26 for the 4 older slexes and day 14 for the two younger ones, since the last update i have potted them in approx 1 liter pots and i will propably pot them up again later this week. i have not decided how i will flower them yet, i should get more room in my flower tent later this week so they will get a bit more vegging light from there aswell the older ones are topped after 4th node so they will get a bit more optimal shape in the tent and wont get too tall during flower

Your welcome Cannabissapean So here's another update, this time only about GHK#1 After 9 days of 12/12 in a room with 850w ( 600w + 250w HPS - Distance about 90cm) i decided to make a mother out of her. The plant was topped and removed of its major fanleaves + bottom 2 branches. Those 2 branches i've cut with an angle of 45° and dead center ( 5mm deep ) where the first 2 leaves were on the branch. Dipped them into cloning gel and planted in the same pot with their mother Here's the pictures GHK#1 Intially 19 Days 18/6 200w Full spectrum Then 9 Days 12/12 850w HPS Now revegging in 200w Full Spectrum See you next time

I used about 40% dry soil with perlite ( has been there for a year still in pot with plant remain) and 60% fresh DCM soil for vegetables . Havent fed them alot either. Along with my flower plants they get just water for now. And thanks for everyone for their oppinion Now i was thinking, i need your opinion for this one. Also can it count for contest ? I would reveg the best of the 2 GHK for a good 2-3 week and take a bunch of clones after that. Get my 30 Gallon smartpot and fill it up again, put about 30-40 clones inthere and flower 12/12 after translplant. Will need to get some clones different sizes to bend them outwards to make some extra space. Or maybe i should veg a few week also ?

The problems with this SLEX is even worse than I thoughtyesterday-i put that one plant in the root pouch in my flowering tent with the nice plants ready for christmas. A few hours after the lights went out I saw the mess. Again mosquitos and the next door plant was already attacked by bugs. That was enough. This genetics is hyper sensitive and if you have any kind of bugs none of the various methods to keep bugs at bay work. Neither Optonic tablets (3 times solved in water), Neem oil , nor Pyrrethium will help. So in case you grow SLEX and see a bug kill them immediately - you save a lot of soil, feeding and work. The reason I know it is the genetics is obvious. The 3 Special KUSH No. 1 I started next to the SLEX have all recovered and can be used further, while these are all complete loss. The 1 exception seems to be the one I started a week later for thatone growing rot in the wrong direction. So along with the 2 SLEX in grodan 4by4 cm blocks I planted 2 more and another 3 Secial kush No. 1- The SLEX will be grown in hydroponics in a seperate grow room. So maybe I might still be able to grow some SLEX. If i had bought those seeds IÄd ask my money back. This needs more research before you ca sell it for amateurs. This is the worst grow in the last 4 years. Here you get some proof. You see the bug infested root pouch SLEX, the one with the curled leaves I cut off - both in the trashcan. Plus 2 of the lilliputs I erased a few days ago. The 3 dark green healthy plants in different sized pots are Special Kush- They survived the bug infestion easily. Finally the only 1 SLEX I might actually keep on growing.

Hi bro, maybe to much water in the rockwool is the cause of slow growth i can see no means of escape for any excess water, ofc i could be wrong temps are not ideal but not to low, as for floresent lighting move seedlings as close as possible to light as light from floresents dont penatrate very far. you probably know this however if not it may help you. Good luck bro nice journal so far PEACE

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
