Here we are, 12-16 days out from the first snipping. I hope you enjoy the photos. Her flowers are rock solid. I got in as close as I could with my camera. All I have access to at the moment is my phone camera but you can still get an idea. The terpenes photos are from a small nugget I snipped away so I could get away from the HPS lighting. I smashed a few heads with my fingers I am sure but you can still get an okay idea. Looking forward to your questions, comments or critiques. Saludos!

Hey guys time for a quick progress update. I can now see that trichomes are starting to form on the flowers of the Kalashnicova and the Passion #1 is just getting frostier by the day. The weather has been cloudy with plenty of rain and wind over the past few days so I have been putting them in the shed to keep them dry and so they don't get battered about by the wind, it looks like tomorrow will be wet, but it will improve and we will get some more warm sunny days Rain is sunshine tax Here are some photos I took yesterday afternoon Kalashnicova Kalashnicova lower flower Kalashnicova lower flower close up Kalashnicova top flowers Kalashnicova top flower close up Passion #1 Passion #1 lower flower Passion #1 lower flower close up Passion #1 top flowers Passion #1 top flower close up It is interesting how the frosting on the Kalshnicova is more visible on the lower flowers than the top flower. I am in love with the Passion #1 she is just gettin frostier every day and even new fan leaves around the flower sites, only the original fan leaves are not frosty, it looks like there will be some good frosty trim from those. More updates to follow, happy growing guys Likkle more Gasmeter

so I finally made it up, the weather here has not been a bit wet so I wasn't worried too much but as I figured they were pretty starved of nutrients, well half of them anyhow some looked much greener than others so I gave them some bloom nutrients I had kicking around and I'm gonna pick up something for them this week. any suggestions would be great. its so overgrown up there, I've started to chop it back but its really a 2 handed job. I had to fight my way in which is good cause its not going to get found one of them had started to bud and is within 5 weeks of harvest but its only tiny I'm not sure which one it was but there was a giant male kc39 next to it in full flower which is good because I am hoping for some seeds for further genetics, I don't smoke flowers anymore anyway so will only be harvesting the cannabinoids. have dank day

Fast Forward harvested about 35 stems, 8 from the main-lined plant, actually flowered 70 days after seeing first signs of flower, haven't weighed a thing yet, but the quality is high and the weight will be good. I know already at least 100gs from the main-line plant. I was going to wait for 30-40%amber Trichomes but at the first sign of a banana I decided to harvest the rest. I read several times about the blueberry smell possible with this strain. I have to say these few months, really not much scent.....until the other day I opened a jar with stems that had been cut July 29th and WoW it was like putting my nose in a jar of Blueberry Jam! I am jumpin outta my chair waiting for these buds to cure! look at the calyxes!see the stamen or banana

Hello! Here is a a quick update of this chick. Beginning week 10 Ph 6.1 2 400w HPS + 4 32w t8 Fluorescent bulbs 6500k (101,000Lm +/-) PPM 13oo Ambient Temp 25c day / 22c night RH 55% Next week flush. *you can see the transition I do from week 8 to week 9 in these photos. During the start of week 9, I snip the support strings and allow her to fa out and extend her arms. This allows full light penetration for the lower part of the colas. When I harvest, I snip the tops then the lower cola a week or so later, at times 2 weeks later. Hope you enjoy. Saludos. I will be trying to get some better, more clear shots for everyone later today and update you with those as well. Shaka!

so i made another batch out of some white widow. this time i put 40 grams in 8ozs of avcodo oil. i tried 1/8 tsb. and all o can say is wow. im not sure how much cbd is in it. but it made all my pains go away and gave me a nice mello feeling for about 7 hrs. we went to a friends pond for the evening. what a relaxing day. i think this is an awsome way toget high concentrations per dose.

Hey Dust your welcome man Yeah that Passion #1 is really moving along compared with the Kalashnicova, despite chopping early last year it was quite frosty, and the hit profile was very heady, but it had legs and lasted for hours before I got peckish, so it will be interesting to see the difference this time, plus the difference between strains this time toke wise. The weather today has been cloudy and quite dark, on the weather forcast it said it may rain, but it didn't it stayed dry but very overcast so I kept them in the shed under the flourescent lights which were providing better quality light than they would have had outside it was so overcast and dull it seemed to get dark quicker tonight. Tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny so they can spend all day soaking up the rays building sticky buds and the next couple of days are supposed to be cloudy and sunny which is better than rain, hopefully there will be more sun than cloud. Hello, Hello! Figured I would post a couple more photos for ya that I just snapped at lights out. I hope you all enjoy ice cream cones... nummy nummy! 8-) You can really start to see the formation taking shape now. These are a couple shots so you can get an idea of the top of canopy and under canopy lighting effects. The outer main colas are measuring in at just under 40cm and the inner secondary colas are in at 15-23cm at the moment. just under 5 more weeks to go! Saludos!

Welcome to the Strainhunters forum and thx for that merry greetings. enjoy your stay and if you need anything just shout.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
