3 likesIt has been two weeks so it is time for a progress update, after my last update gave her 3 litres of water with 3ml of soil bloom feed per litre of water, then four days later I gave here 3 litres of water with the same amount of soil bloom feed, each time I checked the run off PH and it was 6.0 to 6.5 Last night before the light just before the light went off I gave here 4 litres of clean water, then in 3 or 4 days I will give her some feed again, I have also lowered the lamp after checking the specification on Mars Hydro web site, so it is closer to the top of the plant, unfortunately they sent me a manual written in German because my order was fulfilled in Europe due to the fact their UK distributor did not have it in stock. Anyway here are some images I took last night before I watered her. Kings Kush side view in normal light. Kings Kush colas side view in normal light. Kings Kush bud in normal light. Kings Kush bud close up in normal light. Kings Kush colas under LED light. Kings Kush top of cola under LED light. Kings Kush bud under LED light. Kings Kush bud close up under LED light. More updates to follow soon, happy growing guys Gasmeter Likkle more

2 likesThis is my first serous grow. I have had two pretty succsessful attempts make shift but now I'm licenced and want my own medicine - multiple health conditions, this will be a godsend. I've just given my (approx) ten day old Black Indica sprout root stimulator as food for the first time ... She grew likely 1.5cm overnight and is looking amazing. Her third set of fan leaves grew out in about 4 hours. One of the first leaves is looking a little flimsy and weak now, but she has zero nutes in her yet. Using Pro-Mix BX Mycorrhizae so there is no ph reading or nutrients what so ever. I added some Arctic Glacial Rock Powder in the original first container. Once this first "root feed," takes I'll begin with super diluted Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 for the plant's life. I am doing only one girl at first. I'm shooting for the most optimal yield per plant so one girl is plenty for now. One germinated seed got her tap root out but it wrapped itself around the seed and didn't come up. My pot is 80 L and I"ll be using a ViparSpectra 450 - in the mean time she is under a simple T5 100w. I am doing th is in one transplant only. I am incorporating a lot of technique and applications that I learned along the way, and improving by forging my own special technique. I am expecting this to take 16 - 20 weeks - 8 week veg (provided she doesn't go to "Amazon" on me. Room is about 6' (L) X 3' (W) X 9' (ceiling) My old lighting, a couple spiral cfl's and the T5 will be kept on for side lighting.

2 likesDay 42 of flower Everything is going well. Had a power outage during the flowering cycle last week and lost about 8 hours of light on time. I had to open the tent and use a hand fan to blow the humid air out and get fresh air in a few times during the power outage to be safe. Been paranoid about mold since my last grow. On a side note has anyone grown this strain before? Ive looked all over and can't find a SLH CBD grow.

1 likeHad a mishap after last update where I made the bend the top came back up it had a lovely curve in it but I wasn't happy enough looking at it I was thinking what I could do! I was putting light pressure on the bend and it snapped almost clean off I quickly hunted round for something to mend it and all I had was sellotape! I left it on for 4 days and it healed really nicely as if it never happened. Today I bent tops down on all except 1 Black Jack which I topped she's going to have 6 main tops now to play with hopefully if grows correctly! Going to be giving them 1-2 weeks more veg before 2 days darkness before flip I will top dress pots with supersoil hopefully help with that transition!?'

1 like@slimkush I was getting some yellowing of the leaves with the veins staying dark green, the Epsom Salt cured this problem and some of the purpling of the stems but not all of it? @Cannabissapean thanks man? I'm going to add hydroguard,Cal Mag, Bio-root and Diamond nectar to my feeding schedule this week once I receive delivery and add everything in the order below. Silica Hydroguard Cal mag Micro Bio-root Diamond nectar Grow Bloom I wasn't going to do any lst training or super cropping on these girls but decided to start yesterday, plant 2 has now been super cropped as it was starting to stretch a good bit and I'm just doing some light bending of branches on the other two plants. Plant 1 and 3 has 7 tops and plant 2 has 8 tops.

1 likehello crentz !! happy for you if you solve your problem. Then i don't think it is deficience of magnesium because your leaves don't look tigers.. i can tell you that sometimes it is a sign of cold for your plant but your leaves will be purple too. it can be the strain too . often indica plant can take purple coloration on leaves stems. so you can stop your fan during the night to increase temperature and see if it was that otherwise it comes from your strain. peace BRO

1 likeOh, I wish I had a fully room where I could grow. But for now I am really thankful. I belive Australia is hotter! It is a good advice but I belive that there is no chance to switch from giving light during the day to give them only during the night..I guess this will somehow affect or harm them. So far they are doing good, managed to keep the temps between 26-30 in the last days. The nitrogen deficency backed up although I lost some leaves, but is good to know for the next round what to do in time and what to expect for. Today I was surprised to see some little seeds forming on the specific bud that I have pollinated.. another surprise was to see that by misstake I have pollinated also a part from the plant nearby it. But I am not mad at all, I hope it will be a nice strain out of that Indica Male and Sativa female! Besides that the buds are starting to form, it is really amazing how they develop. Thanks for the support! Good luck!

1 likeWEEK FOUR (day 26.) 12 days ago the surface was dry but there was plenty of moist in the soil, so I gave them a splash 1 liter each. Now the soil is completely dry and cracks started to appear but the plants are doing good. I added sheep compost around each plant. It is crunchy and easily broken with hands into a fine powder, has a bit higher nitrogen level then ordinary compost so it will give them a boost. Then I watered them fully, adding 20 g of Epsom salt to 80 liters of water. Misted with nescafe (also energy booster) and soap against bugs. Still not giving them N-P-K rooter and the greenhouse remains. I soaked some fresh juicy nettle in 5 liter bottle and added a table spoon of sugar to trigger fermentation, so the syrup can be used in 3 weeks. I found some areas with sphagnum moss, which I am planing to harvest, then dry up and add to the medium.

1 likeHey Everyone, Time for a final update. I have a few pics from 7-10 weeks here. I did as good as I expected if not better considering it was my first crop in a very long time. Final weights: BC God Bud - 3.5g Quarter Pounder auto - 21g ComaKush CK1 - 24g CK2 - 56g CK3 - 41g I also had an unknown bag seed that produced 40g BC God Bud had a root ball issues early on and it never fully recovered. the roots seem to be much finer than the other varieties I had. which I think led to tangling in the planter. I was also able to get some mother plants started from the Coma Kush CK2 and CK3

1 likeThis diary is going to go quiet for a few weeks! Very busy and just had an incident happen and would like to share my experience to make my uk famalam a heads up the be vigilant! Earlier on I popped to my shop to get a few bits, speaking to the owner been using him for near 20yrs he said be careful leaving there are rumours of people following you home. I walked out to my car and out of the corner of my eye I saw a white car in the corner of my eye with someone sitting in it! Got in the car and had a better look in the mirror before driving off got half his lisence plate went on my way forgot about it got mile away from my house and spotted the car few cars back thinking me being paranoid! Got closer to my house then they were right behind me so I indicated to turn off the car behind me was different they stopped in a bus stop, Soon as I turned into the road they quickly turned into the road of which point I had stopped at side of road they went into a school car park and when I drove past they were leaning forward looking at me! After a few times of stopping I finally got out the car and flagged them down asked them why they are following me they said in an Eastern European accent they were lost I didn't respond said whatever I suggest you do one I know what you're up to of which their response was you're paranoid mate you should stop what your smoking and laughed I said you fucked yourself there mate given it away I know there's a gang of you sitting outside grow shops waiting for people to leave so you follow them home and come back with Infra red cameras to see where it is! I suggest you take this seriously and tell your gang to move on we are wise and the community will react. So be careful have you're wits about you.

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
