  1. Hey There Dust: Yeah, won't allow that ' image extension posted in this community..' huh. Thanks for the kind words Dust.
  2. Dust to the rescue again. Thanks Dust. Sorry it took so long to post pix. Haven't been feeling great lately. A quick eye will se that these two plants could be a little happier.... Re: pix The pheno on the right side of the photo is doc's original iranian auto. The plant on the left is the IA x LionHeart. The LionHeart cross is already notably more resinous than it's mom. Am pleased with the similarity in general morphology between mom and sibling. Hopefully, we will find some of the fuely flavor in this hybrid. Both these phenos entered the 12/12 cycle 2/24/12 that would make them about 32 days in. We expect that these phenos should be ready at around 8 weeks, but time will tell. About Iranian Autoflower: The pheno that we used this time did not flower under 18-6. This is actually a good thing in a sense, as it allows for a motherplant based system. There appears to be a declining photoperiod trigger for this strain as opposed to a chronological one....irrespective of the trigger mechanism... they are extremely fast and early outdoors.. Please note: The IA pheno depicted in the picture is leaning toward the lower end doc's specifications... we've had much larger phenos... albeit outdoors. Not seen in the photo are GHSC Cheese and a Moby Plant that we got from a buddy that we gifted some GHSC seeds to. Try to get a better photo in another week or so. Thanks for all the help!
  3. sorry lol we planted mid may [ just checked notes ]
  4. heya Lamsbread the iranian auto is ' as advertised ' we pulled august 1 last year [ outdoors planted late june 1 ]. made a few crosses specifically [ almighty seeds ] Lionheart strain. Will take pics.. have iranian crosses 24 days into flower [ indoors ]... looking good. Iranaina Autoflower isn't really an auto in the traditional sense... it won't bud on 20/4 or 18'6 as we've seen anyway. Could be wrong. This cycle we will accomplish our lionheart/iranian double back cross.. looking for fast outdoors. We have two iranian cross phenos growing right beside an original iranian auto. Already the crosses are more resinous... which was our goal. Will post pix. Anyone know how to remove gps data extensions from a jpeg? The bag appeal is okay but not great [ why we crossed it ] the smoke is really nice.. powerful and tastes clean and hashy. Just order the iranian/g13 from doc... looking forward. http://drgreenthumb.com/cannabis_seeds_GreenthumbSeedsEntrance.htm Thanks for your reply Best regards,
  5. @ alexbiologo Love the ice dream grow.. will follow. ' Tried to talk him out of those light changes but he was convinced it would produce more resin. (Urban Myths) ' Indeed.... don't understand why people try to 'make ' a plant grow....know a few [ mostly beginner growers] like that. Always try to explain that one need supply what the plant requires [ a task in itself ] and the rest is genetics... ' Pull .... don't... PUSH! '.....philosphy serves well here. Best Regards,
  6. wow!you folks * rock* Really appreciate thecomments. In the case... double-checked the timers, all is well there. Examined the room for light leaks. Nada. Temps are good 24c daytime 20 c night --- 45-48% humidity. Ph5.5 Lucas Formula. No other strains showing hermaph tendencies. 4 different strains. The moby hermaph is pulled. The moby clones that we had have now been thrown into the juicer.. and will provide a ' run from the cure ' effect [ without the high..] juice your leaves .. if you haven't sprayed anything on them. Two new moby seeds started .... really hoping it's just one pheno with an indentity crises... Love the strain .... Thanks again so much for all the suggestions ... love this forum.
  7. Dusty if the new strains are looking good...we'll post Thanks again!
  8. Dust great advice, appreciate it very much. Will double check timers to be sure all photo-synced. gonna pull the moby early at 7 weeks .. but np it's phat and healthy and resinous... [ albeit mildly seeded] Almost hoping that there may be a photo issue. That mean the seeds on my iranian autoflower crossed lionheart plants could be very interesting feminized .moby hybrids hmmm .... oh yeah and the Exodus Chesse phenos... will have a few moby seeds as well... * nods * Thanks Dust. feeling much better now
  9. heya Dust Thanks for your reply.. great news! yeah they have bananas right down low on the bottom branches nearest the stalk. Have pollinated some of my other plants not a huge problem.. but prefer to avoid. I have a more moby seeds... just planted one to check it out. Based on your results.. reckon plant some more and consider this pheno an exception. Dust Thanks you very much!
  10. Howdy! Have a question regarding GHSC Moby Dick strain... planted only one seed and the plant is beautiful, it is however producing pollen... and have taken cuttings [ still in veg ] Aware that is a common trait especially among haze and crosses... My question is regarding the frequency or ratio of hermaphs to pure females... is this trait common to all moby phenos or can we plant more seeds and find a pure female? Thanks!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
