Critical, Crimea Blue (heavy) and Candy Kush (absolutely sublime) have all been good for helping me sleep. I also picked up a strain once from Eindhoven call "Sudden Death". I was a bit nervous to smoke it! Turned out to be more of a "Sudden Couchlock", which may be what you are looking for. As r4nd0m says it helps to take the whole picture into account when dealing with sleep issues. Lots of exercise works for me and avoiding coffee and alcohol. Also, try researching Sleep Hygiene, strange way of calling it but it helps you get into good habits to sleep well. Here's an article on wikipedia about it - http://en.wikipedia....i/Sleep_hygiene

Awesome pictures, those plants looked really happy in the UK sun Just wondering, where in the UK you grew these? Don't have to disclose your location, North, Middle, South would be sufficient. Reason I ask is my pops is located in the North East and he seems interested in autoflowering plants, it'd be good to point him in the direction of a strain that would work for him. He'd never bother with lights but I'm sure would be happy to grow in the back garden. Cheers.

I love Blueberry, have done for years. I experiment with many strains but always make sure I have a good stock of Blueberry. The thing about Blueberry is that I get consistently high from it, everything else that I smoke tends to not get me as high the 3rd or 4th time. Which is not a problem, I just need to mix things up. Also like Northern Lights. I like the fact that it has a really creative buzz that then mellows in a nice "time for bed". As for sativa type strains I love SLH and Jack H, though I tend not to have the opportunity to smoke so much sativas due to work, family and other comittments. Hence,[ I want to change my job

Nice to see info on hempy buckets here. I'm trying a couple of grows with the same method you describe above, 3 parts perlite and 1 vermiculite. I'm growing autoflowering plants in a sunny windowsill. I'm impressed so far, the plants look really healthy and seem quite happy. The only problem I seem to be having is the oldest plant is getting too big! Whilst researching about hempy grows I read many people saying that they had gone to hempy after much more complex hydroponic systems and seemed to be getting the same results or better.

Hi there from Belgium. Been a member for a while, but not posted much. Time to introduce myself. I've been experimenting with growing autoflowering strains on a windowsill. It's taken a few seasons but I'm starting to get really good results, albeit on the small size Loving the Strainhunters movies! Cheers! -- edit, just fixed a typo...

Thanks Dust, truth be told I saw the world cup and wanted to take part. Then remembered that I signed up ages ago. Only when I read the rules and saw the dates I saw I was too late No worries, I'll have fun watching everyone else and will be able to particpate next year This year I switched to a passive hydroponic grow (hempy bucket) on the windowsill, the plants are getting too big! Nice problem to have. I love the possibilities that autoflowering plants open up. Should get in several crops this summer. Cheers

+1 for South Americas!
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
