Hi, love the new look. there is no option to run the desk top site when you are using the mobile site on iphone6. also, in the mobile version sometimes when you are typing in forum headings or topic headings or tags in the relevant boxes, the word you are typing doesn't show until you commit the word or tag to post. It does then show correctly but it's really hard to know how you are spelling etc until you already pressed return. one love. Exodus Please

Are GHSC entering strains in the unity cup and adding a coffee shop to the tour? Franco posted on FB today that he had landed in Miami on route to negril for the new HTCC jamaica. Is there official GHSC/SH representation? Will there be a live feed or thread updated on here by Franco?

Hey All, Burning Spear, a living reggae legend is playing one European gig this year. Couleur Cafe Festival, Brussels Belgium. 28th June 2014. I have just seen Lee Scratch Perry on his earthday evening gig this week and am striking while the iron is hot by booking my Spear ticket. The usual friends that come to the reggae with me are all pre booked so I thought I would put it out to the extended family.....Thad you lot!! Any Spear fans? I'll be driving from the uk eastern ports and happy to share my ride. http://www.couleurcafe.be Exodus. P.s the intention is to stop at The Hague coffee shops first.

I've always done it like the post I made about canna butter. http://forums.strainhunters.com/topic/6895-my-canna-butter/#entry120761 Instead of butter, I use solid coconut oil. Available in all health food stores. Exodus

PM me mate, I have a couple of real friends who would be happy to help 'make' your trip. I also can certainly advise you on where and who to stay with. To be fair to my friends, in not going to announce them on here, although there is nothing discrete about what they do on jam rock. Although I have visited all parishes on the island apart from St Thomas, My experience that is relevant to you is very much limited to Westmorland, including orange hill the coast and inland and the south coast resorts. I also am fairly aware of Portland on the east. If its a ganja experience you seek, westmoreland is home. Drop me a line. There are not many but check out my pics. All westmoreland. Exodus.

Dust Dust, do you think the site default laid up page should be the Jam video!? Still when you open the forum it shoots to emerald cup live thread which is done. Exodus

Its a really nice documentary. As I have said in my previous posts about jamaica, its a cool calm place. I agree with everything simon says about it as a tourist destination. I can understand people being wary based in some of the madness and unrest amongst locals at tourist centres. Away (not too far) from the want for foreign money people are calm and deeply friendly. Get up in the hills. Thanks strain hunters for a nice doco. It's sometimes hard to fully appreciate whether the expeditions are staged or exaggerated but having seen and experienced some of the elements of the video first hand I can say it is a really informative true to life representation of a culture, way of life and truly great holiday destination. Thanks again. P.s someone should tell the indian folk how to increase their charas production. 200g per day compared to one tola?!!? It's like I've been telling the mrs exodus for ages, rub it harder you'll get more out.

Incidentally, on my last two days of the second Trip I went to a bar with pool tables near orange hill, shot some pool with some young locals who turned out to be (paid)growers. They took me to the house of the guy that funded their work in the hills. There were nearly 100 bags of bat shit stacked and maybe 200 plants all being trimmed. They were serious US and European genetics and really clean crystal buds. The stuff on the street and beach is good but this was like the stuff your mate grows for you! properly trimmed. Completely different set up to the fields I saw on my first trip which were very clearly mixed genetics bought in bug bags, these were only one or two strains clearly distinguishable, definitley not bag seed. That's all. X Exodus
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
