  1. Hi guys, please let me know your taughts for topping Hawaiian Snow? I'll be growing in soil, outdoors (on balcony) and I wanted to follow 4-Way LST (, but I've read ... quote: Hawaiian Snow grows in a pine-tree profile, with wide distances between internodes. Topping her elongated branches is counterproductive while bending achieves amazing results. Is this true? ... should I only be bending main stem, or follow another training for better yields? Thanks and enjoy
  2. Hi again, I decided to bend the main stem (in week 7 - light blue markup) ... please see the pictures attached and advise, if I should also bend the end/highest point of the stem again (red circrle) - to narrow it with other shoots going upwards? Thank you!
  3. Dear all, please advise, when to start adding the GH booster feeding - it says on 3rd-4th week of flowering (I live in European continental influenced climate with warm, dry summers)? I'll be growing outdoors, the plant is 100% indica, it should be harvested in 3rd-4th week in September and flowering time is 55-60 days. I'll be also using GH short flowering feeding, is that OK? Please advise the correct formula - what time/day it is 3-4 week of flowering for my plant? Thank you and kind regards.
  4. Dear all, due to bad and too expensive market for cannabis oil in our country, my family decided to try and produce their own medicine. There are throat, lung, lymph & breast cancer in our family, and we would like to be sure what strains are best for healing. After researches, we believe that we should use high THC indica dominant strain, so please recommend what to look for (also CBD enriched - I saw chemdog as an option). Because everything will be homemade, and we don't have any practice with oil production, let us know if use of a Magical Butter machine is goof for oil extraction? Are there any cons, or negative effects to medicine (oil)? Thank you and kind regards.
  5. G22 and ShaggyGrower thanks both for answering. OK, so If I understand correctly, flowering time starts when the day is 12/12 ... and if they say 11 weeks of flowering time (in video of Hawaiian Snow), it's 11 weeks from the day 12/12 starts in your location?
  6. Bump
  7. Thanks once again! I have magnifier and I know when to harvest ... the question was, when does this flower start to bloom (outdoors). In the video they mention that flowering time is 11 weeks. I need to schedule the nutes, and I would like to know all the cycles of the plant.
  8. Hi again, I've got 1 more question regarding the flowering of the Hawaiian Snow: - outdoor finish is last week of October - it flowers 11 weekds - does that mean that is start to flower on on 2nd week of July? Thanks!
  9. Thanks for the answer Super cropping looks quite advanced for my grow, but maybe I'll give 1 plant a go. Could you let me know, what's the best time to super cropp for aprox. height of 1 m bush? Do you top or fim before super cropp?
  10. Dear all, please help me out with my Jack Herrer (JH) process, if there is anything else I should know, change, implement ... I will be using big PVC pots (same as growing tomato), on my south side balcony outdoors. Soil: http://www.biobizz.c...strates/all-mix Fert: http://www.biobizz.c.../starterspacktm 1.I'll germinate the seeds from this guide: http://www.greenhous...structions.html 2. Then put it directly on my pots 3. I'll be following Biobizz starting pack fert. instructions 4. Will flush it on week 3, 6 & final flush before harvesting 5. There will be no trimming 6. Harvest, dry & cure: http://www.strainhun...ring-step-step/ Questions: - please correct me if there is something missing for amateur beginner growing or any better growing techniques? - how much watering is there besides Biobizz instructions - only observing the plant? - when to start counting the days of flowering and start with fert.? - does that means my germination should finish in AUG (JH flowering finish end of SEP)? - should I trim leaves not connected to buds? Thank you in advance! Enjoy.
  11. Hi, OK, despite the worst weather this summer - 10 days w/o rain and maybe 5 with sun :/ ... I manage to put something small with my JH. The trichomes started to change colour from milky to amber, so I've started the harvesting. Like I said, I'll be following this guide to the final product: - Some pics from today: Thanks for all the help and enjoy. 14. Hi guys, below I'm posting one pic. of my Jack Herer ... Don't know why, but I'm assuming that fertilizers are the problem - spray Vita Race (Plagron). Please advise, what do you think?! I started adding fert. (followed the schedule - from the 2nd week of growing (today the plant is 3 1/2 weeks old): I applyed a little less fert. because of the young plant and weather ATM. Thank you for all the help and answers. Best regards & enjoy.

  18. Dust thanks for your support. I'll maybe choose a lighter soil. Can't wait to start and learn throughout the process! What about powder feeding for the hybrids? OK, starting counting flowering when I'll see preflowers ... Than it needs 9 weeks. 1 more question: should I germinate and put seeds in soil in JUL or JUN or even before?

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
