  1. Hello Strain Hunters, I am looking for some help with choosing the next strains I order. Haze is my favorite smoke, currently I am growing Neville's Haze but the wait time is too long. I am looking for good 8-11 week strains. There is so many strains to choose from. Judging by with what I have smoked (I don't know any specific strain) I will like to have in stock: haze, kush, sour diesel, white widow, and maybe 2 to 4 other strains. I am willing to mother 6 to 8 but I want a definite 4 that's true to its genetics, flavor, smell, smoke, and high. Also all around good to grow. With there being so many cross breeds I don't know which way to go, I was looking into a strain called Fast Neville's but I don't know how true it is to the haze. Thank you for any suggestions.
  2. Hi guys, everything seems to be going ok with the neville's, except for the heat. It's in week 8 so far, i guess i have another 6-8 weeks to go. I will be getting another light in the next week, so I will finish off with 6 plant under each light, I will report back when everything is finished to show everyone how things went. As for my next grow, I was thinking of putting 5 or 6 plants under each light in a 1,2m x 1,2m. My question is what size pots should I use a 7 gallon (26 liter) pot or a 10 gallon (37 liter) pot or bigger? Should I still expect the same yield?
  3. Thanks for the comment GhostdoG, I'm definitely less worried now, next time I'll put 9 plants under the light to be on the safe side but we'll see how it goes. I'm probably going to do a kush type next time because it takes too long to flower haze. I'll post back in a couple months with a grow report to show how it went. Thanks again Ghost and Dust, and good luck with your future grows.
  4. Will they have enough light? I have reflective film going around a 3 x 3 meter room
  5. Hello fellow growers, I'm currently flowering 12 Neville's Haze plant under a 600 hps in 12 liter pots. I have a CAP XXXtreme 8 reflector thats measures about 1 x 0.76 meters. I figured it could cover a space of 1.8 x 2.4 meters due to its large dimensions, that's giving each plant a 0.6 x 0.6 meter space. My question is, does it have enough space for each to grow healthy or will they get cramped up? Should I have went with 9 plants or less? Does this affect yield? I was expecting at least 2 oz per plant. When I put them to flower they were about 1 meter tall with a width of about 45 centimeters. I'm using the FULL line of Fox Farm nutrients with Humbolt County's Bushmaster, Snow Storm, Purple Max, and Gravity. I have done "learning stages" grows before, I learned alot from my mistakes, and I feel like I got it right this time. I just think I over did it a bit. Any advice for my future grows and the one I'm currently in? Thanks for any input.
  6. Thanks for the reply Dust, sorry for the confusion. I'll rewrite it in metric.
  7. Hello fellow growers, I'm currently flowering 12 Neville's Haze plant under a 600 hps in 3 gal pots. I have a CAP XXXtreme 8 reflector thats measures about 43 x 30 inches. I figured it could cover a space of 6 x 8 feet due to its large dimensions, that's giving each plant a 2x2 ft space. My question is, does it have enough space for each to grow healthy or will they get cramped up? Should I have went with 9 plants or less? Does this affect yield? I was expecting at least 2 oz per plant. When I put them to flower they were about 3 ft tall with a width of about 18 inches. About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
