i soak in water for about 14 hrs or till they sink then put them in sterile gauze between 2 plates inverted to hold moisture then about a day or 2 i put them in my medium using fox farm now but used rockwool once didnt like it to unstable to much lime in the rockwool keeps the ph up didnt like just a lot of extra work to me PS also depends on how old the seeds are the older the get the more the hormones within them start to breakdown and the seed will take longer to germ
