A combo of CFL and MH will do a great job but maybe too much for a 1 sq. meter room. I think I’ll try CFL. Should I buy 2 x 200w (equivalent to 1200w) or 14 x 30w (equivalent to 2100w)? Also, should I use bulbs with mixed temperatures of 2700K / 6400K ? Or is best to stick with +6400K only? Thanks a lot, Peace

@Dust, I intend to use this room for a long time and to switch strains from time to time so the vegetation time will vary. But I’m thinking 45days veg under 3xCFL 105w.

Thanks Ghost, I think overall CFL are the best way to go and perhaps in the future add some LEDs. Also, in CFL what’s important the temperature or the number of Lumen?

Thank you Dust for the fast reply. I’m thinking that perhaps she needs more time 55+ to mature, maybe 65. She is under a 250w hps, do you think that under-power light will prolong maturity?

Hello guys, I’m growing a Blue-widow from Dinafem and she is in her 43rd day of flowering out of 55 days. But it’s really low in trichomes. Does anyone have experience with this strain? Thanks. Peace

Hello Dust, I also think that fuzzy and mykol's advice to flash was the right thing to do in fact in just over 24 hrs I can already see some improvements. Yes its very strange that from ph7 it dropped to ph5.5 and actually my tap water is a little more its about 7.3. Today I’ve tested the canna rhizotonic ph and found that from my 7.3 it jumped to 9.0! So then I realise that once all the nutes + additives are combined (as suggested on their website) they will neutralize each other, alternatively a ph up or down is needed depending if the nute or the additive is missing.

Hello to all, I have a prob with a 9 weeks mostly-sativa plant and would really like some help. The old and mid/lower fan leaves are starting with very small brown ‘spots’ (1st photo) and then turn to yellow with large brown and dry areas. (2nd photo) I had always use canna terra veg and about 10 days ago I’ve added some extra nitrogen but nothing. I’m growing in soil (peat) and the tap water is about 7ph but when I add the nutrient it drops to ph5.5. Peace
