It should be a very interesting year with the Open class and the threat of the Honda pull out over the ECU control. Also looking forward to return of Suzuki in '15. Would like to see Hayden up front again but I think his day's of glory are over.

Marques crashed training and has a broken leg. No bone separation, says healed in 3-4 weeks and ready for Qatar 23 March. If he stays with the rite team he will be the next Rossi. (IMHO)

Sorry, no idea. I live more than 1000 miles from there. There isn't much sophistication or any strain names where I am. It's All just Mota! Thrown on the ground in the sun to dry, then smashed for transport. Lot''s of sticks and seeds. Impossible to tell what it was. I don't go near where it's grown. That's why I have my garden About the growing wild, I wouldn't go near it!

Thanks! Ha! Yes, one of the things I like most about living here. It's all about WHO you know, and money.

Thanks for the info, I tried the blender method and it works very well. First batch I allowed to dry completely and found you get more or less what looks like keif and much is lost in the coffee filter. Second batch I scraped the filter while it was still wet onto a glass dish and allowed it to dry slowly while shaping it into a brick. Much better result. Third was a re filter of batch 2, and recovered a surprising amount more. Left is 1, center is 2, right is 3, and bottom is scraping from the glass. If you try this be patient, it takes a while to drain through the paper filter.

I grow outside in pots.(my circumstances) I start the sprouted seeds in small 3" pots, only transplant when pots are full of roots, then up to 6" pots, same thing, full to bottom and sides, then to the final 12" pots. By harvest time the 12" are always full too. Never had one blow over even in strong winds. The girls always grow to about 1 meter tall, best for my situation, I can take them inside if it's going to storm, no mold. This has worked well for me for many years.

You roll a joint on your tray, always some crumbs left. Do another of different strain, more crumbs, and so on. Now mix and roll another with all the crumbs. Anyone do this Too? Guess you could use your pipe or bong or whatever you use too.

De nada, I wouldn't care to read about a hunt gone bad.

Mexico may truly be underated, I have had many samples around the country over the years. Guerrero and Michoacan states are some of my favorites, and most small villages have a grow in their cornfields. I'ts used for many other things besides smoking, like fan leaves in a jar of alcohol for rubbing on sore muscles. Anyway, to the point! I'm an x-pat, been living in MX. for 16 yrs. Have smoked for decades, Mexico should be avoided for any kind of strain hunt and especially documented. The resorts are always easy to make a score when on vacation, but the countryside isn't always friendly. You are an OUTSIDER! Any large grow will be in one way or another controled by cartels. This is what will happen. Even if your contact is a friend. He talks to person 2, #2 wants cash to talk to #3, more cash for #4, we are close now but #4 wants more cash. You pay! Now they know you have lots of cash. Next, trip to the grow in the mountains, miles in the country, YOU are never seen again! Then they clean out your hotel room. Don't expect any help from the police, they will shake your family down again, they got their cut too from #3 or #4! (Stupid Gringos) Check out www.borderlandbeat.com to see if you can trust anyone. It wasn't like this 16 yrs ago. I no longer deal with anyone, my garden provides all I can smoke.
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
