UPDATE: Hey again, We are now at the 5 week veg stage, i have now removed the top to promote more side growth, and hopefully in the next week or two i will have strong enough side growth for me to remove a cut or two, the tank in which i'm growing the plant unfortunately isn't working to great in the little room as i suffer with temps/humidity witch in turn caused evaporation which sent the EC/PH higher than required, this caused my plant to burn at the very tips of the leafs which i noticed quite quickly so was able to rectify without to many problems, never did like the res in the grow space, anyway i know how to fix the problem by moving the res outside the grow space and maybe some extraction, but for now i'm hand watering. I'm fairly satisfied with this plant as the only light she gets is 110 watt blue CFL so more than happy with the results, however if you look at the pic where i drew the leaf in it seems to be growing a little mutated, has anyone else who grew this had this issue and is it likely to cause me any issues going forward. Thanks for the kind words tokage m8 She will be a mother, maybe only temp as if she doesn't fit my criteria ill be moving on to the slh beans i have give them a try, i do intend taking cuttings from this plant, and i will keep doing it this way till i find something that hits the spot, then maybe have to expand in the future, and like i said in a previous post this is just my veg room.

Thanks again dust, I was mainly used to growing clones before you see, although i did grow seeds but i was always in to much of a hurry and clones were easier, and back when i was growing fem seeds weren't really available so growing with reg's was hit and miss finding a keeper so opted for a proven clone

Cheers dust, just been looking at how long its taken from when the seed cracked to now and it would be 12 days so far, how does this compare to soil? anyone have any comparisons, is this slow growth or am i about right, i'm just trying to determine if i'm on track

UPDATE: Hey again, well it's almost a week since i last posted, so here is the plant now in it's new flood and drain system, sorry bout the pics, i messed with the cam and dunno why the pics have gone naff, sure i'll suss it. The plant for me seemed to take its time with rooting, but today i finally seen some so decided to put her in the tank, hopefully this will be a better environment for the new roots as it will be dark, i started feeding 3 days ago @ 10ml/10L using vitalink Max with a Ph of 5.5/5.8, my water to start has a PH of 7.6 and my ec is 0.6 from the tap.

Thanks for the reply tokage i'm also looking for tips on the final flush, i have been reading up a lot on this recently with many growers having differant methods, some add honey or molasses to the rez during flush, some flush for 1 week others for 2, on one forum i was reading someone was lowering his bloom formula to half strength in the 1st week of flush and then for the second week he was still feeding but using a 1/4 "veg" feed @ 1ml/L. I always used just ph water before as my thoughts were directed at if the solution was at the desired ph any locked up nutes that remain in the medium would become available to the plant whilst flushing with just plain water (not ph'd) would not, and while my bud didn't taste bad my leafs on the plant stayed a dark green indicating to me that my flush could have been better, maybe by doing what you suggest and flushing between rez changes will improve this at the end.

Thanks dust Hey tokage in one of your earlier posts you mention flushing every 6 days, are you using a solution to flush or would that be 1/4 strength feed or just plain ph water?

UPDATE: Hey all, This morning i awoke and tried to remove the shell from the plant, it had come a lot looser so i gave a little nudge and off it came. and by this evening it has opened up a little and the first 2 leaves are starting to show.
