Nice grow , lovely looking girls . Some red on the stems and veins of the leaf can be early signs of the plants coming to an end .

Yes sadly I have no tent and extractor fans , various lights, tents like you. I just 1 400w lamp and a cold wet damp cellar. Amazing really the significant difference in results , since you spent hundreds in your set up to my 90€, no one likes a sore loser , have some dignity in defeat and some as it to motivate you there big and better

Maybe 5% mould hardly a failure. Our mouldy unfinished plants still looked streets ahead of yours buddy , and the judges agreed

Final Summary Outdoor Afgooey Grow It has been a pleasure again to grow in this great trilogy of competitions. I see Afgooey popping up in a number of menus in Amsterdam at 16 euro a gram. But my guess is they will run Caboose for the Cannabis cup, well see, can’t wait to pop mine. The smoke of the plants are quite different, they are starting to show off their scent and flavour know they have had 3-4 weeks curing. Initially they were all quite green and earthy smelling/tasting but are evolving as follows. Af1 has is getting a more fruity smell in the jar, and sweet smoke. Quite fast and headstone which hits you fast and hard and I struggled to finish the first few joints. Lasts a long time and you really cannot be bothered to do anything. Af2 This has more citrus notes in the jar and is lee heady than the other two, does have a slight earthy citrus taste, which I am sure will only get better with curing. Af3 she was the least ripe of the 3 and was coated in resin when I harvested her. I still struggle to finish a joint of this plant, reminds me of strong kush with earthy taste. Makes your head feel like it has gained in weight as it drops forward, really potent, this last half an hour and when you come round from the initial confusion leaves you slightly dazed for hour. Lol Great genetics from the new Strainhunters . Have one in my current grow, see how she goes under the artificial sun. She responded real well to topping and gave many stems of lovely buds on each plant. Grows quickly in vegging phase and internodes are quite tight.

Hi Strainhunters, Has been 3 weeks since the harvest and it has been weighted and put in glass jars for curing. The total harvest less a few buds I have smoked is 175g from the three plants. One had at least 10 g of bud rot, so not to dissatisfied considering I had to chop them a week or 10 days earlier than I would have liked. Because they where chopped early the smoke of Af1 and Af2 is very very heavy head stoned, you can barely lift your head for a good half hour after you smoke a joint. Still tasting a little green, but smells sweet. the high is quite long lasting and leaves you feeling slightly buzzy and warm inside after the initial head bang. Af2 is more mellow on the head and has a more body stoned, less fruity and more earthy. Some weight in picture, will be back with a more bud porn and a real smoke report soon, needs a little more curing for now.

Cheers Smokey, still tasting slightly green but am being patient while it cures a while as smells promising and early smokes are very heavy on the head,

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
