  1. before i start i would just like to say a big thanks to GHS and TEAM for this opportunity big respect and thanks for reading. Right lets get started on the 11th i decided its time i carnt wait no longer so i started germination on 6 white~lemon. I soaked some paper towel and placed them in 2 to a piece of paper towel just the way i do it then placed them on top of my 500l aquarium just to keep them warm. 36 hours later 13th it took the seed and placed them in cocco plugs all pre soaked in ph'd water at 5.6 ppm 300 water temp 18.3 at time and wont really go above 19.7 well int the first week they are all doin ok apart from 1 whitch hasent popped throu yet. when i checked them this morning 1 had like pushed its self right out the soil and nearly laid out on the propargator tray so had to do some gentle surgery getting it back in. Right so the veg room is 18x18 inch x30 inch with 2 flourecent light just to bring them up because my 125watt is to big for this room it would dry them out to quickly room is kept at a constant 18c lights are on 24hour. I was ment to be starting just after xmas as thats when my other plants finished but a good freind off mine had some troubles at home and asked me if i would take on his lovley ladies as he couldent finish them well it was either that or them be cut down and i couldent bare to think that i had let these 3 beauties go in the bin they should be finished in about 2/3 weeks so will move mine on then into the larger room were they will stay for the duration. They will be feed on GHSC powder feed for hybrids on a run to waste system.
  2. testing testing skunk auto's on the testing

  3. Dose the light of the moon affect a flowering plant outdoors as it is a reflection of the sun
  4. So if the moon dose good things is there not a bulb that matches the spectrum of the moon that you could put on for when they are sleeping to do the same as the moon peace
  5. Hey man I heard about it too dint think to much of it till recently just noticed how bright the moon can be when its 2/3rds full with no clouds it can be bright so it got me thinking again will have to do some research into it thanks man peace out
  6. Like dust said arjans ultra haze 1 that stuff u could build a bridge all the way to dam lol amazing stuff love it peace
  7. Has anyone noticed any differece between hps bulbs I mean like more resin or bud production internodal stretch so is there any difference other than brand name thanks peace out
  8. Hi whats the shortest size that you can start flower
  9. Well hear is some pics its not the prettiest but sometimes the best things aint lol the orange bit of pipe is so I can separate each pot to move them round the room less messin about lol just got to drill 2 holes in the wall for the inlet and outlet peace out
  10. Haha love abit of diy man carnt beat it and the good thing anout doing it yourself is that anything goes wrong at least you now it inside out so its easy to fix lol will get some pics tomorrow and upload them peace out
  11. Thanks for that man I just took some hose and have coiled it round the inside of my pots then going to link it up to my nute tank and use the pump to pump the heated nutes throu the hose then back to the tank help keep them warm peace
  12. Thanks guys n whats the best temp for the root zone thanks peace out
  13. Got to say my favourite is greenhouse powder feed and I must say is the best there is even compared to liquid feeds and thats adding there boosts the resin production is huge the taste is amazingand overall top class product so I no all my bushes will be grown using this is the future until I am proved otherwise and would recommend greenhouse powder feed to anyone peace man
  14. Wow looks like we getting somewere with this lol thanks for input guys I ha e found this on internet it blagged my head to many joints it think but if any of you can help I think it saying about 3% uv but not sure lol Infrared-A: 700 nm to 1,400 nmInfrared-B: 1,400 nm to 3,000 nmInfrared-C: 3,000 nm to 1 mm. Sunlight in space at the top of Earth's atmosphere at a power of 1366 watts/m2 is composed (by total energy) of about 50% infrared light, 40% visible light, and 10% ultraviolet light.[3] At ground level, this decreases to about 1120–1000 watts/m2, and by energy fractions to 44% visible light, 3% ultraviolet (with the Sun at the zenith, but less at other angles), and the remainder infrared.[4] Thus, sunlight's composition at ground level, per square meter, with the sun at the zenith, is about 527 watts of infrared radiation, 445 watts of visible light, and 32 watts ofultraviolet radiation.[5] Thanks
  15. By uv is it the same as a uv light that you use for like water sterilisation because if it is the could you just add a couple to your room thanks for the info guys maybe we will comee up with the ultimate lighting for our babies
  16. What is the best way to sort of power a grow off grid (ie running a motor to power an alternater then throu a power inverter then to ballest) thanks peace out
  17. Gud video that I dint put a sump in you would need a big pump to clear the water out if you live somewhere that gets a good bit of rain in a hole that size lol I did think at first about just putting one on the back of a lorry kit it out and keep on trucking lol but diesel not cheap so allround cost is huge. I would probably just put a shed on top of mine and it would also act as a secret opening down to your secret layer lol and yes the ground source heat pump is a very good idea I use a log burner in the house aswell a gas central heating so heating is pretty cheap but yea we do have some things in common there must be something in the weed lol peace man
  18. Haha I no a little bit lol you want to head for the hills me I want to go under ground again first time failed flooded out all the time but working om getting a 12 foot cargo container to sink vertical underground you dont get the severe weather its always around 8 degrees so every thing stays the same no changing equiptment with the season change lol hope all works well for you bud peace out
  19. Thanks man they are very interesting and a big thanks for your input much appreciated bro my way I am thinking that you can power your lights and that of your car with an inverter just on tick over well to me thats not practical cost of petrol these days aint cheap is it lol so I might get a few parts I already have a motor that turns at 2500rpm about 1500rpm more than a car so if I put it on a 12 Inch cog to the alternator witch generally has about 3 inch cog then the alternator should turn at about 10,000rpm give or take a few thousand lol well I might give it a go and let you all no try get electric costs down means more lights more plants at less cost if it works its a win win thanks man will keep you posted peace out
  20. Thanks man well I was more thinking at home can I use an electric motor about 100w put it throu gears to up the rev count then throu an alternater then invert it to lets say 600w less usage on the grid so if any thing went rong with it I could just plug it into mains while I sort it . And yes I have been thinking about going out and doing it like you said but do you think my way would work thanks
  21. Before i get going i would just like to thank green house seed co strain hunters and everyone involved much respect. Right so on 1/4/2013 i started 3 sweet mango seeds i first dampend some tissue paper and placed all 3 into it and left it on top of my aquarium to keep warm 36hr later took them out and placed into pots of 60percent coco 40 perlight they were then placed in a propagator a d placed under a 125watt cfl light until they pop throu then they will spend about 10/11 hours a day under my 400watt hps flowering light that my white lemon are under the they will be under the cfl for about 10 hours really its just to save on cost of running 2 lights they will be feed only on powder feed supplyed by ghsc there not that much to tell at the minuet as they were only started 5 days ago will get some more pics bit later on got a few just befor they wrre placed in coco thanks for reading peace out

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
