olà companeros, last week i've got a talk with Franco and among other topics we've talk about the benefit of LEDs. In his opinion only LEDs are no viable way to produce buds that we want. But the diversified light spectrum of LEDs encrease the complexety of terpens, when we use it as an addition to the unbeatable HPS Power. My question is, how much LED light i need to have a noticeable effekt for my Ladies? I'm a small grower, just to ensure my own consumption, and grow in a Home Box XS (60x60x160) with 250W HPS in soil. THX for all advices dudes 'n cheers gus

Since the Christal Lemon stuned me, i couldn't forget that unique Concentrate! That's why i wanna make it at home. I don't know how, but my approach would be a dehydration of the BHO with liquid Nitrogen! But it's very expensive to use the liquid Nitrogen only once! What is the best way to make "Amber" or "Glass" ? Didn't find any advices here.... ...cheers gus

Hey Hunters and Bam Bholenath! Today i wanna start my first grow journal. It's time to reciprocate and share my experiences with our dear herb. Pls be lenient with me and pls don't be stingy with constructiv critic and educational advices! Ok...let's start! I hope you enjoy! What's about this Journal? The cultivation of three KALASHNIKOVA AUTO of course GHSC seeds. What conditions i offer my Ladies? 2x18w Phillips TL-D for germination and "pre veggi" 1x250w Phillips Son-T master for veggi 'n flowering Plagron light mix Hesi nutriens 60x60x160 HomeBox XS 6l pots for veggi, maybe the hole grow 11l AirPots, maybe not, if i thought, that 6l are enough ...lets start! THE GERMINATION I trust Franco 'n Arjans approach, that's why i do it like they told us. I've put the seeds in a glass of water. In less then 10 hours the first seed popped and after 18 hours the last seed popped up. In the moment that i've saw that the seed are popped i've put 'em on 'n under wet citchen tissius. Further 16 hours later, every seedling has a "main root" (didn't know what the english word for "Pfahlwurzel" is ) When the little "main root" was about 0,5 cm i put them into jiffies. Now it was time for sunrise. I put them in my "veggi stage". Humidity is atm 70%-80% and the temperatur is between 25C-27C. So that is the Status Quo and now we has to be patient and observant. I'll keep you informed by up dating this journal as much as possible 'n useful. Cheers, gus

Hey Dust, may i've to make a little summtion of the Idea behind this projekt. We're looking for german cancer patients, wich are through with the chemoradiationsurgerycrap. In Fuerte Ventura we want to film Interviews etc about the opportunity to heal themself with RSO. That's the main thing behind the idea. That are all completly different technics. You harvest weed, but the plant looks different. And with this modify shape of the plant you reach different goals...

It's so awesome cause you encrease the usable Light. I love it too! But My actual grow are Automatics and with that genetics it's hard to train them well. You got no time...

Here @ strainhunter.com is no personal contest between the fellow hunters...it's all about help, education, good vibes and off course our lovely herb. Did you ever see a plant under 600 watt HPS with an 200 watt LED addition (3w lenses, 11 wavelenghts, incl. UVA/UVB) ? I'm shure you dosn't...and no one here didn't know that the distance between light source and the plant is important off course the ISL. In your posts is what i read, LED is shit course the Cannabis industry wanna fraud you and me. Even when the industry talks bullshit, why an experienced grower has to talk so? I dosn't find a coherent logic in your thoughts beside the ISL, sorry for that! It's not a personal thing...

I've got it too in early flowering. (Also kalash auto) Just remove them and the Problem was solved! Never see it again till now...and i didn't watering it too much...i'm pretty shure!

Try the LST technic! I've grow normaly tall sativas with this methode in a 60x60x160 tent. And when your Ladies are in veggi, it's time to train them. You get nice branchy plants, with exelent yields. I love it when the Space is limited like yours! And i've heard that the 12-1 light schedule produce short internodes...

With the "Christal Lemon" GHSC teased me and i want to know how i can made it at home. Lambsbread found a russian dude, which posted a possibility. I try it and here are the result. Dedicated to you and your wonderful work (Arjan got his hazes!) i call it "Francos Candy" It's made from pure alaskan ice buds 'n trim. The smoke is smooth, but one dub and you're stoned like hell And the other concentrate is budder. Made frome the same plant. I call it "Francos Calories" The smoke is a litttle bit harsher, but the high is a bit more up lifting. I wish you a merry christmas with your family and a lot more succes in 2013! Maybe with a Concentrate, that's dedicated to you I think the times are changing and when growing is legal a lot of concentrates would be made. And they need names! Alaskan ice Amber is now "Francos Candy" and the budder made of alaskan ice "Francos calories" (he is thin like me, cause we smoke budder instead to eat 'em) which favorite strain is yours? Maybe you've got your place in History of THC concentrates sooner, than you expected! i could'nt belive 5,5 weeks of flowering...it would be fantastic...as arjan says "...the new kind on the block!" And i hope that the yield is exceptable. I know...i know a kush is a kush is a kush and a kushs yield is a small yield, but i hope!

Here are the result! I've do it two times. And i think the step of frosting the ethanol/THC Tincture isn`t importend. The unwanted plant material (Wax ect.) can filtered in handwarm tinkture also. in my test it works! Very smooth smoke...but totally couchlocking. smells and tast like pure alaskan ice from what its made of. And cause i know Franco loves this strain i called this concentrate "FRANCOS CANDY"
