  1. Hi Donnie, Of course I would like to sample it sometime ;-) If you prefer a high instead of a stoned feeling you can try to use a vaporiser and vape the buds on low temp (170-180 Celsius). This is how I achieve a daytime high even from some heavy kush strains. In the evening I turn up the temperature to 190-195 and get a more stoned feeling for bed time.
  2. looking good! scrog is filled out nice and buds are getting fatter!
  3. nice harvest from your mistery plant. I am curoious how the effect will be when it's done curing. Did you smoke a test bud already?
  5. Welcome to the forum! Damnesia is a good one for sure. Check out the new varieties Super Lemon Haze Auto, King's Kush Auto and Super Bud Auto. Will try the SLH and KK for sure soon ;-)
  6. @jankahar I agree about the boveda packs, they do a great job, however, my personal opinion is that the 62% is still too wet. I usually put them in my jars for about 1-2 weeks and then take them out again, otherwise the buds are too wet to smoke. I don't like my buds crispy either but the stem should snap and not bend when i break the bud open. Anyways I dry and cure by feeling and I don't check the humidity in the jars so I can not agree or disagree on numbers. However I have some buds cured for 1.5 years and the taste is fantastic, although I have the feeling that after 11-12 months the effects are changing, probably because of the THC degrading to CBN.
  7. ferhattey: as a grower you need to learn patience. Of course you want to try your first harvest as soon as possible but be patient and when you think you are ready for harvest, wait 1 or 2 weeks longer. After harvest make sure to dry your product slowly and cure it for a while before smoking it. You will be thankful afterwards and I know from own experience, if you try it too early you will regret it when it's gone ;-)
  8. Very nice man! I love the Hawaiian Snow so I will be following for sure. And don't worry about your setup. Sometimes it's just not possible to grow big and you have to deal with what you can do. Have a good grow and keep us updated!
  9. Wow that is one stretchy plant. Couldn't see that in the first pictures. And what FIM said is true, I can agree that if you don't know what it is then don't worry about it too much. Enjoy it as much as you can. However I disagree that all naming is unnecessary because if you purchase seeds (or clones) you should know what you can expect and especially with seeds I made the experience that it's often not a good idea to grow bag seeds (if not for fun) because you don't know exactly what to expect. If you buy from a reputable company instead you can be sure to get what the label says and that you get good genetics.
  10. It looks very interesting. However it's impossible to say with a few pictures which strain it is. You got some crazy foxtailing going on for sure and the single leaves look special as well. Definitely a hybrid I would say, could also be auto flowering, at least from my personal experience I had those single leaves only with autos. I'm curious to see it when it's finished. How long is it flowering now?
  12. Hey Snooppppp, Welcome to the forum! As far as I know you need to be resident of Spain, over 21 years and another member needs to introduce you but I guess our spanish mods can tell you more about it.
  13. Here you can find a good article written by Franco about drying and curing your crop: http://forums.strainhunters.com/site/index.php/index.html/_/articles/grow-articles/francos-tricks-on-drying-and-curing-your-crop-r51
  14. You could make oil and use a few drops until the desired effect is reached, bake some cookies or other food. Make a tea or hot chocolate.... Many possibilities but it's not as tasty as vaporizing Hope you don't need to stay in hospital for too long.
  15. This is one of the nightmares of outdoor growing. However I would prefer a deer eating my plants than someone find them ;-) And if we are honest, who can be mad at those animals? They can't find cannabis plants in nature anymore but there must be a reason why they love them so much (or is it hate?) Anyways, good luck and fingers crossed that at least the last two plants will survive and give you some nice harvest.
  16. Ein weiterer Schritt in die richtige Richtung! Was denkt Ihr?
  17. Welcome to the forum cannabistourist! We would love to see some pictures of your travels here!
  18. Nice auto grow and I hope the guerillas will do good!
  19. Hi Popo, Actually I would not change the light schedule, depending on where you live it might be better to have the lights on in the night when the temperature is lower than during the day. Many growers have heat problems these days and actually leave the light on in the night for that reason. If you really need to change it, make sure that you keep the 12 hours darkness (or more). Every change might stress the plant so I would not really recommend it but I also did not try it myself so maybe somebody else has more experience with that specific topic and can give you better advice.
  20. If you let the blue dream finish and you harvest it when the trichomes are amber, you will probably achieve the desired the effect. If you have one plant you can start harvesting the finished buds (usually start with the top) and then let the others grow a few days longer. This iscalled partial harvest. This way you can achieve the same / similar effect.
  22. congratulations on your harvest. very nice plants and a lot of crystals on those buds! Enjoy!
  23. This Caboose has won third price at the Spannabis champions cup 2015!!
  24. nice tutorial with good pictures here. Of course everyone has his own method that works best for him/her. Thanks for sharing your method with us!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
