One of the girls is suffering from a phosphorus deficiency. I'm pretty certain that this is caused by temperature swings. It's getting cold during the day when the lights are off, no heating on in the room where the plants are. I've closed the window to raise the temp in the room, but that will raise the temp in the tent as well... And suck all heat out of my already cold apartment...

Following, best of luck with the grow brother. What type of LED have gone for?

Why? Indoor makes more sense. No chance of children getting their hands on them that way.... It's easy to think the Netherlands is a liberal country until you go over there and find out about the crap that the cofeeshops have to put up with even though they contribute millions to the economy... It'll hit the tourist economy in Amsterdam hard if other countries begin to adopt a more liberal policy towards cannabis....

Pity to see the Dutch going backwards after leading the way on drugs policy for so long. Are you still allowed to grow a couple of plants personal over there?
-
Cheers man, that's what I'm hoping for....

Things going ok despite my best efforts, adjusting ph with the biobizz nutes I've been using only to find that there was no need. No harm done by the looks of things, sure I did the same thing on my last grow....DOH...!

And the flower sites are developing nicely after 2 weeks of 12/12....

Finally got rid of a crappy piece of ducting joining the fan to the filter. Replaced it with a fast clamp. Along with clearing a new space for the tent to shorten the duct run and reduce bends I've dropped the temps by about 5oC, now running at a much more flower friendly 25-27oC

Thanks for the suggestion brother, I have an extractor fan in there already. I made some changes to the ducting and got the temps down by about 5 degrees...!

One week of 12/12 and the first signs of flowering...

My current grow is a month old so I'll get things up to date. I'm growing four of the cheese. I germinated five seeds using a glass of water. They got planted straight into 11l pots once the tap roots were about 5mm. This I think is where my first problem occurred, I think that I might have damaged the tap root on one of the plants. It took an extra week to break through the soil( I had nearly given up on it when it finally broke through). The first pic shows the plants( all 5) after 16 days. After this was taken I decide to sacrifice the little one to give the others more light and space. I also topped the remaining 4 plants as I didn't want them to get to tall. The second pic shows the 4 remaining plants a week after being topped at about 23 days old. I swapped them over to a flowering light cycle 2 days later. A very short veg but I didn't want them to get to tall at the end. They had 6 nodes and reached 40cm when I changed the light cycle. The last pic is the 4 plants after 4 days on 12/12 and they are still bushing out and stretching a little. They are at about 4 weeks. The first signs of flowering are beginning although it is hard to see in the pic. The plants are in biobizz light-mix, I'm us biobizz root/grow/bloom/topmax. For watering I pH to 6-6.5 .They veg'd on 18/6 with 400w metal halide. For flowering I use a 600w hps. The temps are high but there is no sign of stress in the plants yet so fingers crossed. Their home is a 1m2 tent.

How big is the grow space bro. 12000w of light is a lot for just 1x 6" fan to control the heat. Do you have air conditioning?

Hi, growing a little bit of personal over in Ireland. Trying GHS Cheese out as a first photo period grow, I've done done a few auto grows and found lots of new and inventive to kill off plants before they mature. As you see in the pic I can still make mistakes...
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
