  1. Looking a little yellow?! I have upped its feed a little bit. RD
  2. Hi Tokage, Yes it certainly is a straw, just cut a little piece off and slit down one side, then wrap around the stem. Works great for weak stems!!! RD
  3. Quick pic update! Just put the LED light up today, ordered yesterday and delivered today! Had a accident and dropped my old reflector on my baby and it broke, should pull through as it has not snapped. Will update again as things take off in a few weeks. RD
  4. Time to get on with the next grow.... This grow I am going with Cotton Candy Cane. I am also going to have to swap out my 250w HPS/MH for a LED system due to the summer heat (40c+ in the tent). So tonight I am going to order a MARS II 400w LED unit. It seems like a good solid build with decent enough support and a fair price. So the setup this time will be: MARS II 400w LED lighting DRS60 Tent (60cmx60cmx140cm) 20 litre DWC Bucket 14 litre p/min Hailea Air Pump Extraction: 4" Systemair Fan & Budget Filter Intake: 4" Inline Fan 6" Clip On Fan Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom Lets hope this turns out as nice as my last, I apologise to GHSC for not growing out your genetics this time round, but I am going to the UK Product Earth Expo at the end of the month so I will be picking up something from your booth, maybe some powder feeding if you have any on sale! RD
  5. Thanks to everyone for looking in!!! This has been such a fun grow. Not sure on final weight but the smoke is fantastic, even without a cure. Next grow thread will be started soon!
  6. Very close to the end now, I have no decent tools for checking trichromes, however I can be pretty sure it will be finished up nicely if I let her go another week. Day 77 Flowering
  7. Piter glad I could be an inspiration to you. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask! Soon she will be enjoyed Ganja XL, this is where my will power kicks in not to chop early....
  8. Very nice and healthy looking plants. Have a good flowering! RD
  9. Thanks for looking in Ganja XL! Only another 2-3 weeks before harvest!!! Day 64 Flower
  10. Looking good bro! I have no experience in LED lighting but am interested to see how these turn out as I will have to switch over from HPS to LED in the summer months. RD
  11. Day 50 Flowering
  12. Thanks for the kind words. Dust, just a few lower leaves yellowed and dropped off, plus some slight yellowing in the new growth. You are right nothing major and was easily corrected. I seem to be swinging from slight over feeding and slight under feeding. Need to get that EC stick, just money is tight. It's not causing major issues with the plant more with me knowing it's not a fine tuned system. RD
  13. ...... and the beat goes on. This week I realised I have been under feeding and looks like she was lacking nitrogen. I really should get a EC pen, probably the only thing I am missing to give me a complete setup lol. Day 35 Flowering
  14. Drool..... Looking exquisite as always!
  15. Wow it's a Amazonian beast lol. Looks mighty fine buddy and those roots look a lovely shade of white. RD

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
