  1. I think Denver is a great idea. Franco I know you came out to visit already. This was what? 2 years ago. Come back and visit us again. You will be surprised at how far the industry has come since then. Oh by the way. I greatly enjoyed having dinner with you. That was the best bottle of wine I have ever tasted. I still talk about it. Anyhow come to Colorado. Bring the whole crew this time. With a little notice I can arrange lodging entertainment. Activities and tours of the industry here. Love to see you all here, The Chief Gardener
  2. I use a very similar system. Couple differences are I use 2 5 gallon bucket and a drip system. I started with a bread yeast myself. I now use a champagne yeast I get from the home beer brewing supply store. I use 12 cups of sugar 4 gallons of water and one packet( ! table spoon of dry activated yeast). You can pick this up at any grocery around here. I change the bucket out every 7 days. Each bucket gets changed out every other week. I use 50 lbs of sugar for a 7 to 8 week bloom cycle. I only add the CO2 farms to my blooming gardens.
  3. I showed a dramatic increase in production with adding both Kool Bloom and Diamond Nectar (both GHP products) There is a more advanced feeding chart General Hydroponics puts out that is much more refined and gives you a week to week feeding schedule. I think you will like the results. Now on too CO2 production. I use a sugar driven yeast farm (try one put out by CO2 Crew about $35). In a 5 gallon bucket you can make it yourself for about $15 to $20. I also combine it with a 1/4 inch drip system and a 1/4" soaker hose to drop it right over the plant at light height.
  4. Howdy Everyone The Chief here. I have been the Chief Gardener for the High Altitude School of Hydroponics and one of the 2 founding members. We grow soilless of course. With the extreme weather fluctuations at a mile high. As well as the current Colorado State law. Makes it the best way to grow for a small personal garden. Myself and a couple of the Master Gardeners design, build, install, and garden a series of small, legal, home gardens. Anyhow over the past few years. My knowledge of the small home garden has jumped by leaps and bounds. From disease control to pest mitigation. I try to go the natural none chemical solution and have devoted many hours of research to the subject as well as taking many lumps figuring it out. Thanx, The Chief

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
