  1. Hi hunters As we all know stress affects female plants causing hermie tendancies. Does the same apply to the male, if breeding with a stressed male does he pass on the stress to new seed as in produce hermie off spring. One could assume it does as its seems quite likely that the male would not hermie and grow female parts. Any info or papers to read on this subject would be helpful. THX hunters and happy growing. PEACE
  2. Hi hunters I have finally started, we have 4 little babies making there way to the surface, at the minute 2 have been born to this world as you will see in pics and they were taken yesterday 28th October today abit taller. Im not feeling so good today so gonna make this short will take more pics when other 2 are born. Peace guys.
  3. So far so good, good colour and nice work. Can you give us details on feeding- eg how often and at what strength. Nice start to the LST, in the first pic i see you have a bottom support however can not see it in second pic, the reason its needed is to stop up rooting of the plant as you bend her over, bottom support should be placed opposite to the way you bend her. There maybe one in place already. Keep up the good work and hope this helps if not known already. PEACE
  4. some really nice growth going on here shame about the little one, lets hope the coco one keeps going PEACE

  6. Absolutely beautiful, they appear to be in prefect health an excellent job One observation, they look like they are going to flower, however im probabally wrong. PEACE
  7. @Dust Thx bro was a little unsure about the logos id used. @Jose.gh Thx bro Growing in coco normally gives me trouble but im gonna try and do a natural structure plant, as for DWC its very fast, when them roots hit the water it grows like crazy so id say they like the swirling of the water caused by the air, when i first done this kind of grow it was weird and exciting to see how fast roots grow.
  8. Hi hunters and thx Dust So far so good being playing with photoshop curious how this format goes down PEACE and enjoy
  9. hi in reading the post before last, where you said you can get away with higher temps i think you are spot on, i remember watching a video saying the same, with HID lighting the light penation is more intense with this the air temp of 75 keeps internal temps of plant to 85 with led an 85 air temp is needed to to heat the internal flesh of the plant to 85. if i manage to find this video again il post it for ya peace
  10. Hi hunters. On the 14th november the dwc plant was put in her 20l bucket, this is because the light has been upgraded to 250w mh with 100mm exhaust fan for ventilation and temp control and 150mm desk fan on speed controler so not so harsh on the young plants. Also repotted other plants into 3l coco pots, both had a very nice root sytem, wish i had taken pics now. Overal growth is good both above and below ground so to speak, all have wideish leaves which i hope they keep and show in flower more to the indica side. Thx for joining me on what i think is an exciting time, dont know what else to say so lets let the pics say the rest see ya soon guys. PEACE.

  15. Hi hunters Only 5 days have passed and there has been some nice progress especially the root growth on the DWC, at last update there was 1x 20mm tap root, up feeding tomorrow. As you can see i have started the LST on 1 plant, the others will be left to grow as they are suppose too, being watered to keep a ph at the roots to about 6. Thats it for now thx for stopping by. Peace Hunters
  16. Hi hunters, roll a Joint and sit down canna From the first four seeds i got 2 plants, first failure was me it ended up not in jiffy but the tray, the otherstopped with little tap root and none developing leaves, so i started another one when i realised first was wasted. To answer Jose question so far i have 1 in dwc and 2 in coco, dwc has just developed a root from her netpot so is now being teased with grow nutes kindly surplied by Green House, 1g/10l is the start for her coco plants just water around 5.7. 3 pics today see ya soon PEACE
  17. hi it is quite possible your rootball ph is under 5.5, have you checked the run off? if water in is 6 and comes out 5.5 your roots are 5 can you see the equation PEACE
  18. pathic agruement quality over quantity why is it big this big that goes with the terrority. anyway Hi hunters, santa bro leave it in if you dont you will never know, just watch humidity doesnt go over say 55-65% may cause some rotty bits or something. cant wait good show peace

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
