Hello all thought I'd join in here after being a greenhouse fan since my first ever sticky crop, so hats off to Franco and arjan and all at greenhouse for bringing us some fine crops over the years. I'll be visiting dam soon and hoping to find out the spots to visit from the locals view...

Hi all my first proper post on here so be gentle! Got a strange problem with my reservoir, just recently been getting something fall out of my tap water and it's causing my entire res to go cloudy and leaves behind a white powdery substance, id like to say it's limescale. It seems to happen if the water rises over a ph of 8 (tap water round here comes out at 7.4) and it's harder than Chuck norris. Has anyone else ever experienced this or knows how to fixit?

This my clean water res so it's just straight water it comes out the tap at 7-7.5 at around 245ppm I usually let it sit for a couple days to let any chlorine evaporate My guess was it was calcium falling out the water at the higher ph range I.e once the chlorine goes

I do dwc and use 25ltr buckets they will last a week on that easily just make sure you got the right ec and it's well ph'd. I sometimes found some went lower and some went higher in the week so just adjust it accordingly and they should stay within range it's always good to allow a little swing anyway helps with uptake of certain chemicals

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
