  1. Single seed company.
  2. Totally appreciate all your advice.. I've learned so much this season (and failed so much). I'm spending all winter plotting and planning my grows for next spring. Might be a dumb question but why can't autoflowering plants be grown outside? Even if given ideal conditions? That was going to be one whole section of my grow.. The "auto section"
  3. I planted out 3 Autoflowering Seeds 28 days ago.. the spot there in get's a good amount of sunlight. I've given them very mild doses of superthrive thus far. they are still so tiny. three or four sets of leaves but only two inches tall & just very small. I've only been visiting the garden once a week to water. that is my best guess as to why they are growing so slowly. does anybody know what else it could be? Do I just need to water more?
  4. Thanks to Tokage for the genius rain barrel advice!. Definitely doing that.(other water in the area as well) can't wait to share this grow with other growers. Do you guys think it's absolutely necessary to start your plants indoors. This current grow I only germinated them before planting them out and there definitely coming along slowly
  5. Thanks man.. My new spot is insane to try to get to (good and bad I guess). Surrounded by thick brush, thorns and tall bushes. should I start posting in a different area ya think to get more in depth. Because this next grow is still a ways away...but it's going to be well thought out and I'll be asking questions throughout. Btw that's kinda the whole idea with the 200 gal grow bag..making a giant..or do you think that hurts my stealth "rating" if u will?
  6. how often do you guys visit your gardens? I've been going once a week@3:00 in the morning to avoid nosey people (so many of them). I'd like to go more often,, what do you guys do?
  7. I invested a bunch of money this spring and started my indoor growing career. Learning so much, and obsessing over every detail. My first mystery seed was a male:-( . So I planted it out in the woods and started over with feminized seeds. After a while the wife got paranoid and forced me to shut down my indoor grow until laws change or the kids move out.. Whichever comes first. So... My only option is to go guerrilla. I have a few autoflowers out in a "secret garden"now. So late in the year now that's all I'll have time for. I'm hoping to get something off of those at least before the evil new England winter kicks in. now i'm already trying to prep for next years grow and I've found a perfect spot for it. Very tough to get too, lots of sunlight, slightly sloped, and some kind of water nearby. I've got huge plans for this spot. I'd love a little feedback or advice from some experienced growers. 200gal grow bag to much to tend to for a guerrilla grow? I also have some ten gallon grow bags. Any info would be totally appreciated. Trying to be a sponge for knowledge since i'm kinda at a stand still with winter looming..thanks allot guys/girls..good growing

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
