Hello all this is my first time with the Money Maker strain and I have two different pheno types one a more indica style and the other a more sativa style im in week 3 of flowering and 7 weeks of over all growing and my sativa style plant is stretching like crazy has anybody else encountered this and which out of the two is the true Money Maker gene. The indica style is even more advanced in the flowering stage at this stage. Any advice would be appreciated thanks for your time

White rhino hands down a great all round plant

You want regular or feminised seeds because the outdoor growing style does all the work for you it all buds by them selves when they are good and ready and this is done in Autumn to winter. The auto has been designed for indoor use you can keep your lights on 18/6 or 20/4 for auto which is for veg and the plant will start budding automatically hence the name auto and you don't need to switch your lights to 12/12 for budding. I have heard of people using auto seeds for outdoor but the plant will still grow as a normal seed or fem seed strain waste of time sell or swap the seeds for feminised seeds and then for outdoor id go with sativa cross strain and if you do your homework right 12 foot monsters all day

P.h 5.5 to 6.4 and flush your plants with 5.5p.h water at least once a week

Hello there first of all you don't need autos for outdoors they are for indoors only if you want a strain that flowers quickly outdoors may I suggest an early skunk variety like early girl. Ok lets try and narrow some things down here have you got good fertiliser in your hole like blood and bone or fish meal or chook shit, or cow shit or horse shit to add nitrogen to your soil very important for young plants to grow or have you got potting mix in the hole. your hole is the most important part of your outdoor grow. Have you got your season right with it being spring and is warm weather to grow in. And you must water every day or the very minimum every second day never let your holes dry out to much especially when the plants are young use an old 2 litre plastic milk or juice or coke bottle to water with and then you know your plants are getting 2 litres every water and is easy to apply liquid fertiliser only use small amounts of the liquid fert and increase as plant gets older but less is best so you don't burn your plants. Super thrive is ok but me personally I would go to a garden shop and get a all round liquid fertiliser that is blood and bone based or fish or seaweed based that will take you from start to finish with your plants one that has N.P.K and S if you can but just N.P.K readings would be fine and the ones I have suggested will add a nice taste to your smoke. I can't stress enough on your hole preparation if you find that your plants aint going well you may need to bite the bullet and start over again. I hope this has helped another thing is you got to spend money to get awesome plants if you need any help on any of the stuff I have said don't be afraid to ask

There is some logic to try and air rate your soil like you do to your vegetable garden but there is no real big need for weed if she's growing fine then don't change a thing

Are they both off the same plant? It could be heat stress or nutrient burn try giving your plants a good flush with water its hard to narrow it down with out more information as I don't speak French can anyone translate. Sorry mate

Hello there silclay I didn't see your question sorry mate. Ok like you say outdoor does everything for you so no need to worry about flowering and switching times and stuff she will start to flower as your winter starts to show and your outside temperature starts to cool or drop just make sure you are giving good liquid fertiliser with N.P.K.a must and S if you can and you will be fine even a little bit of pot ash will help you and just sit back and watch her grow. Yes all my last comment was meant for the guy that had the original post that we are in and is for indoor but if it helps you as well then its a bonus.

Nothing wrong with taking clones from clones I have a friend that takes cuttings off his plants before he switches his plants to flower and he has been doing that for the past 5 years with the same White Rhino strain with very little effects and change or weakness to the strain and still gets greats results he just finished a personal best on his last grow 2 White Rhino plants under SCROG 2x600w plus one 400w in between the two 600w I shit you not 3.5 pounds with clones cut off clones that are into there 5th year and he aims for 4 crops a year. You will know when its time to change your strain it will start to show you signs its tired.

Like Bam said you start to count your flowering days from the time you switch to 12/12 and your second part of your question is your flowering stage has two parts when you first switched to flower your plants still grow a lot this is called the stretch stage once they have finished this stage they will start the full on budding process and start producing s lot of white hairs this will be the second stage they are talking about and the plant is in full budding or flowering stage

Keep watering your plants or they will die

Hello Jan.gh and thanks for the welcome and kind words. its my first time with this Money Maker strain and its just going nuts and is taking over my tent every day she impresses me a very vigorous growing plant and at this stage of her growth im in love I just hope she finishes well fingers crossed I have two different pheno types the biggest one it has a real sativa look to her with thinner shade leaves but she is massive under SCROG and branches and lats everywhere now her sister is big also but not as vigorous and shade leaves are more indica fat and round but still alot of branches and lats but nowhere near as many like her big sister but still a beautiful plant. Just hopeing for a great finish im in week 3 of flowering and im trying to push her to 9 weeks before I harvest so fingers crossed

I forgot to add shes a heavy drinker once I flipped to 12/12 she burns through 70 litres in a week with my run to waste system I feed her 3 times in 12 hours and im supposed to get a 10% run off every time but went in to attended the girls last night I had no waste at the 12 hour mark before lights switched off so im going to increase my feeding times as well as up my reservoir tank. So yes shes a big drinker in the flower stage but thats not a bad thing.

Hello there I am growing Money Maker for the first time and what a beast she is I have a 2.5L x 1.5W x 2.0H tent two plants under SCROG one each in 30 litre pots of coco under 2x600w lights so one plant under each light and my nutrients are the HY-GEN range which is a seaweed based nutrient and my grow method is a Run to waste system. I vegged the girls for 5 weeks before I flip 12/12 and the girls have gone crazy the stretch stage is awesome I have two different pheno types one a more sativa look alot bigger than the other and a narrow leaf and the other still big but more indica leaf but not as big so I took 4 cuttings of each one so I can see which one finishes well then that will be the one I will keep for next time but man they have both gone nuts and completely taken over my tent so I would say no longer then 5 weeks veg that is any amount. This is my second grow in this set up my first grow was with White Rhino and I had good results 25 oz in 12 weeks start to finish so I was a bit reluctant to switch strains to the Money Maker but at this stage of growth I am more then impressed with this strain I am just hoping the finish is just as good. I would like to hear about your impression on this strain and how well you find it. I was just about to post my own post on this strain to ask a couple of questions when I found your post. This strain is awesome for SCROG growing just awesome so far can't wait to see the end result.

I know this is an old topic but im going to add my 2 cents. White Rhino is one of my all time favourites it is an awesome performer and a great smoke.

I also buy through Herbies and brought Strain Hunters Money Maker five of and all five have germinated and are doing very well. Very strange about yours alright

Hello there I flush with 5.5ph straight water and keep flushing until my waste water or run off reads 0.4 EC once every 7 days before I commence a new nutrient feeding week and works very well.
