  1. Wait. what? That's not a SCROG, its skeleton support.
  2. Im pretty sure this was a joke? Whats wrong? Its more than just too wet Ok its a major fire hazard You shouldn't put smarties and glass in your soil You should get a proper set up, and medium Couldn't of you just bought some soil at a store? Instead of digging up a muddy puddle in your driveway and throwing fish rocks in it? lol Not trying to be rude, but why is this in the grow section? Should be removed, its obvi a troll, joke, or what? I don't know why this post made me a bit mad, lol.
  3. Yeah most drippers I see are running hydroton or coco. It could be that when you are filtering it, you are also filtering out a lot of the good minerals. I see a lot using RO Water, or spring water with a certain PPM and mineral additives in DWC, etc. But like I said I dont really know about Hydro, I just use hand watered dirt, organic hippy style, lol. But essentially what you have is an auto water system, rather than hydro. Being in soil. SO I wonder if you should treat it as such. I mean Ive never PHd water or checked EC lol. I just mix and pour. Hahahahhaa. But NOOB. And I have pretty decent water that all plants love, and its ph7 where yours is higher. And like I said I only use organic which is more forgiving. I know the guys in Chat have been nothing but helpful with any noob questions I asked, have you tried pinging them at all? Cause please dont do anything major on what Im saying, theyd know way more than me. I wouldnt want to hurt your baby's with bad advice. Hope you work it out, have a good one.
  4. Hey man I think a PH for hydro is 5.5-5.8. But are you using soil in a dripper? Cause that would change a lot. Your PH might be low in that case. Do you test EC? What strain are you running? If it has a GHS grow video it will tell you the proper EC, PH and Nute Ratio. I mean Id try and get info from someone more experienced with this. I use organic soil, it has dolomitic lime in it. This stuff balances PH and reduces PH issues. I use tap water with a PH of 7 and have been using Earth Juice grow haven't had any issues yet. Do you know your waters PH before adding anything?
  5. I did a heavy defoliation on my last OG mid Veg, but I did a 7 week veg. It worked very well. I noticed a few days after, explosive branching and shoot growth, and new big fan leaves came back pretty quick. Now I have a 3 week old exodus that I plucked a few fan leaves off and Im stressing out. She still looks healthy but I hope I didnt totally stunt her. My thinking being small space was I would be able to level out the canopy quicker and limit the stretch. But Im not sure. Ill post the results, if I dont have a nervous breakdown that is lol. The thing that confuses me about the Defoliation argument is everyone will top if inclined, no worries. That's cutting the head of your plant. Those same people will tell you cutting a few fan leaves is the end of the world, and dangerous, lol.
  6. That's PH issue to me. You said PH is OK but what water are you using? TAP water? Because tap water can be from 7-8.5 I believe, and to test PH are you watering the dirt first and testing the run off? Or just the water it self? Whats your SOIL made of and what NUTES? A lot of NUTES change water PH as well. I mean here is a a PH problem
  7. Were you doing Outdoor? Ive never heard of a weed that was "daunting" to grow. lol. 90% of them you could stomp into the ground and they'd still grow.
  8. I am really digging the looks of kalashnikova. But I have heard mixed things about it. Amazing indica structure, and massive buds though. I think I will try it out one day for sure. Also A.M.S looks very interesting.

  10. Hey thanks. I do however have an issue trying to post in the grow forum. Its saying I need 5 posts, which I have.
  11. Oh man, was so excited looking thru and got to the end ohhh noooooooooooo. Too bad, she was looking nice. BLNT
  12. I predict a forgotten day of spacecake and hookers.
  13. Sounds of the rain forest lol
  14. definitely a good test of patience.
  15. You know usually Id say Trainwreck, as it helps me medically and I love the buzz, taste, and smoke character. But a bro gave me some Captain America OG,and daaaaaaaaamn the best tasting smoke hands down Ive ever had. And the buzz was insane. So either or. Take it easy Bandit......

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
