  1. This variety was grown here in Hawaii for about 25 years from what I was told. Brought from some growers i California originally from swaziland Africa. The smoke was extremely strong and amazing looking sativa plants. I think marijuana grown outdoor in the tropics is more potent due to the fact the sun is much closer to the equator. More UV nore growth thc .etc... Anyways a cross made with this sativa made it a bulky producer with huge colas. My friend Zack (r.i.p.) smuggled a really fast and fat indica clone called kgb2 from washington state and crossed it with the swaz as we would call it. The result was a 60 day clone with huge colas larger than pint bottle of beer sometimes. Swaz was such a unique variety with often flattened out twisted stems and irregular nodal patterns and long sativa leaves. I miss it so much andd it makes me think of my deceased friend who was a big time grower which it was also his favorite. I would think you could find this amazing variety very useful to your collection if you don't already have it. What's in the fridge???
  2. I live in Hawaii and don't recommend it. Any strains here were introduced and not native. I have seen some incredible maui varieties and also some from molokai but they are all from clone. seeds are rarely grown by most growers. The eradication here is nasty.
  3. I have recently encountered this technique from a good friend of mine who did this on a small scale in his backyard. I tried it on 6 female clones from another friend and sprayed them all once after putting them into a flowering cycle from veg. 2 showed just a few male flowers but one that continually sprayed half of the plant daily for 2 weeks showed all male flowers with no female flowers at all while the other half was completely female with no male flowers at all. This is one of the most incredible techniques that I have ever witnessed. I am now able to get stable seeds from the large variety of clones available to me. Does anyone else have experience with using colloidal silver for inducing male flowers on female plants and their long term results?

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
