So im at week 2 of flowering and it seems to be a slow start. The plant seems healthy and the 12/12 cycle hasen't been interupted so im not sure whats going wrong. I am using a new nutrient the 3 part nutrient from advanced nutrients. Is it normal for some plants to start flowering late? There is only a few hairs so far. The plant is CBD Church.

Just a late bloomer. She is doing great now.
-
The plant was in veg at least 30+ days that tent it's in is 4x4 foot (121x121 centimeters).
-
The 3 part nutrient mixes micro grow and bloom in equal parts as directed and I started using big bud additive after the first week as directed.
-
Started a new grow with SLH CBD. 4 plants in a 4x4 tent. Seeds were put in wet paper towel for 24 hours till they opened up. Seeds put in rockwool cubes after opening. Soaked cubes for 24 hours with light nutrient solution and hydroguard. Coco perlite will be used as the medium. Dutch master nutrients. I wont go to much into this part as dutch master recently changed its entire line of nutrients which is annoying but they are now mainly used for marijuana plants. I still have like 2 years worth of the old formula though so ill keep using it till its gone. Current light is a 2 foot 4 bulb T5. Temp 70F 30-40% humidity. The seeds seemed small but all 4 germinated. Very excited to see how this grows and smokes with the high CBD. Any questions or comments are welcome

Dry and ready Still waiting for full cure before smoke review.

Harvest day The 3 node bud This is the bud that had 3 nodes instead of 2. The plant leaf growth is strange with most growth on two sides of the bud.
-
Day 63 harvest day. Most of the plants were ripe and ready to go at 9 weeks so I harvested. I flushed for a week before harvesting.
-
Day 56 of flower bud shots. Had to put up a second plastic net across the top to keep the larger buds from falling over.

Day 49 of flower so far so good

Day 42 of flower Everything is going well. Had a power outage during the flowering cycle last week and lost about 8 hours of light on time. I had to open the tent and use a hand fan to blow the humid air out and get fresh air in a few times during the power outage to be safe. Been paranoid about mold since my last grow. On a side note has anyone grown this strain before? Ive looked all over and can't find a SLH CBD grow.

Day 35 of flower a little to dry Thanks Pompey and cannabissapean So I let the plant dry out a little to much and lost a few leaves however the buds weren't affected. I did my first full flush of the grow just to be safe. The way I water till it starts draining heavy helps keep nutrient build up from becoming a serious issue Ive gone a whole grow doing this and only flushing at the end with no problems. Yellow leaf in the picture is from not watering enough.

Day 28 of flower Stretching has slowed and everything looks healthy.
-
Day 21 of flower the stretch continues The plant on the bottom right is now 40in (101cm) also the branch closest to the middle is producing 3 nodes instead of 2 (see picture).
-
Day 14 of flower Streeeeeeeeetch The plant on the bottom right is growing very tall the tallest bud is 30in (76cm) tall. I'm still watering 1 time a week and everything looks healthy to me.
-
Day 7 of flower The plant at the bottom right is the tallest and is giving me a bit of worry not knowing how much taller it might get. I keep the pots in a 3x3 foot tray that is raised about 6 in above the ground. I do this to drain the tray into a large bowl this lets me water with a good amount of runoff water to help flush excess nutrients from the last feed. At this point I am watering 1 time week.

day 3 of flower Everything is going well. The plant on the bottom right is stretching the most so i pinched the top 2 branches hoping to keep the canopy somewhat even between the 4 plants.
-
day 24 of veg start of flowering Still pinching off side branching and plan on doing so for the first week of flower. Now using my Phytomax 600 LED 12/12
-
day 21 of veg Transplanted to 4 gallon pots and changed light to a 4 foot 8 bulb t5. The temperature increased to about 75F-76F still on 24 hour light. I topped it leaving 4 branches each and I am pinching off side branching on the 4 main stems.

Day 14 of veg Using full strength nutrient solution now.
-
Veg Day 7 from seed. Started with a 90/10 coco perlite mix for the small 6 inch pots. Plants look healthy and are growing pretty equally. Still using the 2 foot 4 bulb T5. 50% strength nutrients and hydroguard. 5.8ph. I will alternate between hydroguard and Subcultre B to get a variety of beneficial bacteria/fungus that will hopefully keep out the bad bacteria/fungus. Ordered some sm90 just in case though. Temps are still the same the 2 foot T5's don't put out much heat. Small 6 inch fan pointed away from seedlings to keep the air moving and shake them a little to encourage stem strength.

Here is my current grow of super lemon haze. The plant went though 4/5 weeks of 24/0 veg under t5 lighting and Ive switched to a 600w phytomax black dog led for flower. Im using dutch master gold nutrients with botanicare hydroguard instead of the dutch master zone. Zone works ok but it doesn't stop bad bacteria just slows its growth. Ive had no problems with root rot or mold since switching to hydroguard. Here is the plant at the start of 12/12.

RIP Franco. So sad hope his family will be ok.

Looks great Dr M The T5 sidelights might be a little useless in that small of a space it might be better to take them out to give the plant more room to grow. The kind Led should give plenty of light on its own in such a small space. I have seen a few reviews of the light and they were pretty positive with the main complaint being uneven coverage when growing in a 4x4 foot area. How many watts is your led? Those airsock filters work ok but in my experience they are good for veg but towards the end of flower it wont stop the smell as well as a normal carbon filter. I would get a charcoal filter and use the airsock on your intake to keep dust out.

Finished drying a few days ago and Ive already given away 3 oz's. Everyone loved it. The taste is great and the smell is very strong buds were dense. Great high with no feeling of being tired or couch locked. I did find more mold on the biggest buds and lost about 2 oz's :(. The molded areas were small maybe the size of a q tip but I didn't take any chances. Not sure what the total weight was because of the mold but the weight of the good buds that were dense and mature was about 13 oz's not including the moldy buds. As of now I have just under 10ozs left which is the legal limit here. I had a ton of fluffy popcorn buds about 8 oz's I had a friend make bubble with. The picture shows the 10 oz I have left. Thanks to everyone who followed along and commented :). I will post my next grow with more details.
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
