  1. My Grow :D

True , but they sure seem to like it but now I'm trying a different method.. I'm not adding the tabs into the feedwater but dissolving them in containers inside the grow room and let them dissolve and release the CO2 slowly into the grow, let's see how it goes... thanks for sharing you knowledge take care
  2. My Grow :D

HI Maugli ! yes I think I'll get that one, it has been my favorite from all those but also the most expensive, I hope it is worth the 35.00€ take care
  3. coco_taste - Testing PureKush (thanks Romeu9) - 31/12/2010

yeah Fuzzy, anytime now, i've just pulled some soil to support the stem, just waiting on the other one to get a little stronger to repot them toa bigger pot...but thanks
  4. Hello everyone! Here's my seed testing, after Romeu9 gave me 2seeds, since I mailed Franco, but had no response..so Romeu9 kindly gave me these seeds and I'm testing them.. So here's my setup: -------------Vegetative Grow----------------- HomeBox 60 x 60 x 120 cm CFL 200W 27000Kelvin 150mm outtake fanh 100mm intake fan --------Flowering Grow------------- HomeBox 100x100x200 cm GIB 400W HPS 400m3/h Extractor Fan & CarbonFilter 125mm Intake Fan 400m Fan And here are the puddings: Soil: 50% ATA KiloMix / 50% CocoFiber 7L Pots Ferts (Base Feeding): House&Garden Coco A+B / ATA Organics Grow-C & Bloom-C Boosters: ANP Roots / B'Cuzz Soil Booster / BioNova Algeamix / B'Cuzz Bloei / ATAMI Bloombastic / ATA Organics Alga-C & Flavor / BioNova Zyms. (I dont use all these boosters at once, it depends on growth-stage) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've started hatching them two week ago (21/December), since here is kind of cold (average 15ºC) they only hatched @ 27/Decembre, beeing in these pots eversince...so they have 2weeks since I started to hatch them, dipping them into a glass of water overnight, and transfering them to a wetpaper (but kept them in the kitchen, not a smart choice...). As you can see, only one has already opened, the other is yet to open (but on her way, anytime now..) PureKush @ 5 days after planting the struggling one on their way... their home... So I've just watered them once (@ planting lightly) with pH balanced water (6.2), and they've emerged and this is day 5 (31/12/2010) Going to water anytime now, with a light dose of rootstimulator.. Any ideas: I'm all ears! (or in this case eyes ) peace good ppl!
  5. Hydro Lettuce Wilma 4pot

Hi there Romeu9 anguscr drunkknucklehead- dfwi thnks for your feedback ;D I'm really impressed with these ones, thats why I took all of these pics Also what I really like is to watch, try and learn and this hydro has teached me a lot I've messed up several times before, manly due to triyng diferent fertilizer combinations and concentrations, see what the boosters do and specially the pH adjustment is always serious business and more recently the EC metering showed me some past errors I made and know I understand were I went wrong :S cheers everyone
  6. My Grow :D

Hi drunkknucklehead- Hmm I don't think so..In fact, I've considered it several times, but never done it because the weather as been too hot for doing so, althought recently a cold wave has been striking us this would be a perfect time for it the only thing that is stopping me is the electrical bill :S i've currently a 400W HPS (flower) + 200W CFL (grow) , and it is costing me around 40/50 € every 2 months..another issue is that I don't have a 600w ballast or lamp it would increase my expense :S As for the CO2, I usually add some CO2 tabs to the feed water and turn off the vent for a bit.. (CO2 emmiter and controler systems are too expensive for my square meter Its hard to grow on a small budget :S how I would like to have a sponsorship thanks for your feedback
  7. My Grow :D

Hi dfwi I've heard about these lamps, but for now they're out of my reach, also I don't have a digital ballast (too expensive). But thanks anyways Now what I will try in the future its a mix of Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium.. Startin seeds, clones and for the growth stage will like to use MH, then start adding HPS slowly through the flowering stage (first 3/4 weeks into flower), then use only HPS in late flowering... well this is my plan, but it would end up too expensive (buy different lamps and ballast rates :S ) thanks for sharing you knowledge

thanks to all kind people..just hopping to "share & learn" cya all around
  13. hello there :) coco_taste

well hello there people! I simply love this plant...I grow it, manly because I don't like dealers, I don't like to give them my money for some lousy low quality stuff...I rather grow my own, high quality smoke ! I've been growing for 5 years now..mainly indoors, but also some guerrila ones every now and then.. My favorite susbtrate is by far Coconut Fiber, solely, or mixed with perlite when in hydro setup (usually top feed buckets), or with soil for handwatering. I've got 2 flowering rooms: one Homebox L (1square meter), with 400W HPS GIB in the summer, and 600W in winter. one addict 2.5meters by 2.0meters, with one 400W HPS + one 600W HPS = 1000W..........in a friend's house And 1 Grow room: 1.30meters by 0.5meters with a 200W CFL I'm currently using House&Garden COCO A+B, with b'cuzz boosters and bloombastic (I really like B'Cuzz), already tried some other brands, but these are good business for me I like quick flowering strains, skunks, afgans and all those kinds and genetics, my favorite so far has been skunk#1 as a grower, but as a smoker I really like nebula, kushes, afgans...etc anything else, feel free to ask me! coco_taste

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
