  1. We have a WINNER!!!
  2. Let me know how those whie lemons taste. I'm creating my own (sorta) but using White Widow instead of Nino.
  3. Humbolt, Mendicino, Trinity Counties....California
  4. The samples I tried were great. I'm really hoping after I dry and cure them they have the same profile. Can't wait for my next batch with Super Lemon Haze x White Widow and SLH x Master Kush. SLH is probably the best I've had taste-wise...or at least tied with the Diesel.
  5. Guilty!
  6. Password: Ganja
  7. Here's the 9 course meal overview...attached. Let me know what you think. Attached files Medical Growing Extravaganza.pdf (2.6 MB)
  8. Try www.scribd.com It has lots of downloadable material and scientific journals. Cervantes' Bible is the best!!!!! Should have a leather cover and gold leafed paper edges. ha ha :-)
  9. No direct air...that's a helpful tip if it really degrades thc. The clothes dryer I have jets out direct air. I've done the jar thing, too. You really have to stay on top of it or else you risk mold....had 1/2 a crop destroyed this way--probably cause I'm a lazy @ss. I typically hang them on a string like you mentioned for a few days. Makes it easy to do so basic pruning (at least the fan leaves) as well. Then I dry with the machine. The article, I think Franco wrote, said if you dry quicker you save the thc content...if you cure, you change the profile somewhat which could be good for those medicinal strains...higher CBNs I think as the THC degrades? Well, I'll let you know in a couple months.... Thanks
  10. Anyone ever tried a cigar humidor to cure their ganj? I have been drying mine with an electric clothes dryer (see http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-5%252dGarment-Station-11530H/dp/B000R8E7NQ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1299385676&sr=8-11) ) and it works fairly well. Just don't want to dry it too quick so I'm looking for options other than a cardboard box. I want to take it to the next level and give it a month or two cure time...thinking a humidor would be a nice controlled area...plus you'd have a good storage container and sweet @ss storage/display case. Penny (bag) for your thoughts?
  11. Franco, Good stuff in your "Terpenes and cannabis" article! I've been trying to boil down the taste factor forever. Your article did that instantly. I like the color taste weel--it's all coming together now... I'd be interested to see how you'd break down the cannabinoid profile of your strains and it's effects in terms of the thc/cbd/cbn/? profile. Everyone gives such a poetic description to each strain of ganj but can't really break it down scientifically (how quick does it come on, how long does it last, how intense is it, what does it do for you, etc.). Yours, ErgonomicZero

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
