  1. Thanks for the advice everyone. Yes, RIX, I'm going for yeild...sativa-dominant varieties work much better at treating my condition than indicas. I guess I'm asking, all things being equal, would I get a better yeild from one large sativa or from 4 small sativas(maybe start them 12/12 from seed and use small containers) Thanks.
  2. I have a space that is 0.8 square meters. I'm using a 600W HPS. How many plants should I put on this space if I'm going for yeild....should I grow one large plant or many small plants? I'l be growing in a soiless mix, either Promix or Sunshine #4. Also, I'l be growing sativa dominant plants, most likely, Arjan's haze 3 or Hawaiian Snow. Thanks, Reishi
  3. Thanks for the great info, very comprehensive! I have a small closet, 2(W)x4(L)x7(H) or 56 cubic feet. Using the above calculations I get a minimum cfm of about 19...and compensating for filter, lights, temps, passive intake, etc...I come up with 33 cfm. It's a small space but, 33 cfm seems like a very low number....is this correct? Will a 4inch 65cfm in-line booster fan do the job or is this too big...can it even be too big? or is it too small? Thanks, reishi
  4. Great work Franco! WOW!!! So, 6 weeks and 3 days from seed to harvest...just to be clear, the seeds were planted and 45 days later, fully ripe buds were harvested, is this correct? Any updates on the dry weight yeild? And how does she smoke? Also, how many of these can fit on a square meter? I'm totally amazed! Best, reishi

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
