  4. Hi all, hope ive put this in the correct place lol if i havnt sorry admin n mod's ! Ive not started a thread before and I cudnt see one relating to finding out information on rare strains and finding out real names for strains that are sold by coffeeshops under a different or incorrect name. I am trying to find out about a strain called r.i.p . Im not sure if this is its true name as there does not seem to be anything on the www about r.i.p . my friend sniffed it out in den haag from up the road its smell was that strong. He went in coffeeshop demo looked at every weed they had on the menu and none of them was it (well odd!) he actually had to say ' i dont want none of that i want some of what there smoking ' . As it wasnt on the menu it makes me wonder if they should not of been selling it for some reason and is reallly called something else. If anyone knows about this strain let me know please. Shes a beauty of a strain every1 should get to try. PEACE
  5. yeh dont look to bad actualy, most of it is basically just glorified soap bar these days i wont smoke any resin no more unless its proper stuff , isolator hash or charras and cream sod the dirt !!!
  6. looking good be intrested to see them finish off looks nice
  7. be nice to see them finish off there looking healthy
  8. From my past experience's with timers it is not worth buying any mechanical timers even a grasslin because if you look hard enough you can get good digital times cheap. I got a 3 pack of digital timers from argos in the uk for 19.99 and they have worked fine on both cfl's and 250 watt hid sodiums without a timer contactor for over 2 year pritty good going eh? and have never had any problems with it i still have 1 unused one left and i gave my friend one which he has used to good effect on a 600 watt sodium with just a surge protection board between ballast and timer ! at the moment they are 3 for £15 get down argos before the new year and vat increaeses. Just as good as the digital grassalin timers sold in grow shops like growell for in excess of £20 each. Why buy a grasslin digital timer when you can get 3 for the same price or less. That just madness IMO !!!
  9. Well said puff im glad you said that.!!! Sensi Seeds are dodgy germination wise too and its not just their quality its their price ive been wondering how sensi seeds can justify the decrease in pack size from 16-17 a pak down to 10 a pak :s and the price has increased on some strains at the same time too !?!?! . Im not to bothered about it as it would not be hard for me to get a clone of most of their strains, but to the paying customers ( & especially the old skool smokers that want old skool f1 genetics ) surely most people would not toleate their ripp off! Or do they??? otherwise udd of thought they would just go straight out of buisness with all the new companys coming along and increase of growers cloneing rather than buying new seed stock. !
  10. Yea the sooner it gets legalised in the uk the better ! our current laws need changeing so we can buy it or grow it ourselves i sure know what idd be doing

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
