just a quick question really i understand the 3 flush's before week 6 with soil but i have ventured into hydro and was a bit confused ! my delemare is im using NFT method and was wondering how long to leave just pH balanced water in the tank to archive the best results for the 3 flush's to work or would it be better to forget the 3 flush and do a really good 2 week flush at end any help much appreciated

thease baby's are awesome never had the pleasure of owning one but they have this one and a 300w plasma light in my local grow shop the plasma retails at £1200
-
that is a very neat idea to use a roller tray might have to nick that from you lol i would suggest that you use a slightly bigger tray (normal size roller tray) so you have moor room for them roots to spread also you might wish to put some black and wight plastic over the hole thing to make a light proof cover so the light doesn't get to your root system and cause all sorts of problems one last thing you could also do with using some spreader Matt its very cheep and helps the roots spread out any hydro store sells it also you need to remove the plastic sleeve around the cube wish you all the best for this

hey bro by my experiences with spider mites i don't think just salt alone will kill the little suckers spider mites become resilient to most things that you can buy at the local grow shop if used on a regular basis so i would say use a strong pesticide that will kill on contact leave it a few days then start to clean the hole room keeping a humidity of 50% plus reduces the chance of spiders massively

EXODUS CHEESE HYDRO (nft) Vs SOIL (15ltr airpots) Hi guys I have decided to have a go at hydroponics ive been growing for about two and a half years in soil now and have gained some very good experience and grow some very nice weed in soil with the help of a few people and this site however its come to the point where i have heard about the massive yield that can be archived with the NFT method so thought its worth a go so to get the best of both i thought i would go for a small NFT tank so i could still have room for soil aswell i choose to use seeds instead of cuttings to give me a better chance of souses so what better seeds to buy than the ghsc exodus cheese ive grown other strains of cheese and heard nothing but good things about the ghsc's strain I started them off in water 5.5ph for 18hr then placed them into root cubes that were soaked overnight in ph 5.5 water and then drained well so they were moist to the touch i keep them in a propagator for 7days under a 150w cuttings lamp then a further 7days without propagator after 14days i transplanted them into grodan rockwool cubes and 4inch pots (for soil) and changed the light to 250w mh 18hr V+1 i turned light down to 18hrs and started feeding with 1.3 E.C 5.5 ph water V+5 time to move the rockwool cubes into the NFT tank they have lots of white roots i have had the NFT system running for 24hrs so the water is well settled ph 5.5 , E.c 1.3 ,water temp 20c ,room temp 25c day 20c night ,humidity 60% ive just got my camera back so heres a few snaps thats all for now guys i will try and keep this updated every week for those that want to follow the progress as i always say any criticism or advice is always appreciated thanks V+10 hi guys this post will bring you right upto date just taken some new photo's and have also measured the plants just so you can get an idea of the differences between the growth rates between the two ive also decided to give the soil 2 weeks more veg( just to give them a chance against the hydro ) also all the measurements are an overall average rather than having ten lots of measurements there have been no problems as of yet lots of lovely white roots spreading all over the NFT tray and the soil ones have a nice root ball forming will repot them in next few days into there 15Ltr airpots using biobizz allmix soil HYDRO STATS overall size of plants height > 110 width > 300mm fan leaf size length 120mm width > 130mm room temp 26c day 20c night humidity 65% feeding 150l/h E.c 1.4 pH 5.5 water temp 20c SOIL STATS overall size of plants height >80mm width >200mm fan leaf size length > 85mm width >75mm room temp 25c day 20c night humidity 65% feeding 50ml per day at E.c 1.1 pH 6.2 as you can see the hydro is already growing at a faster rate heres a few pics from today think you will all agree they look strong and health thats all for now guys any questions please ask thanks for your time be good guys and if you cant be good be careful lol

About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
