Time for another update! Week 5 of flowering and things are getting interresting! The ladies are growing well! They're not stretching anymore, both stopping at 1m 60cm (approx) and instead are putting on tons of white hairs The "freakplant" has come around, and is emitting a beautiful blueberryish smell (increasing in strenght). The other plant is just looking beautiful imo. Considering very bad reflectors and the fact that we're first time growers, it looks good. With loads of nugs forming in spiralshaped patters around each branch, and the many nugs at the main cola filling in, becoming one big one (already longer than 15cm). We've made many changes since last time. New growroom with better reflectors, we have full control over the enviroment maxing out on 27,5 C at days with RH of 50-60 and min 22 C at night with 50-60% RH. A CO2 bucket helped a bit, and trimming off useless leaves seems to have increased the budgrowth. Pinching the plants also made the top of the burned "freak" find new vigour and the sidebranches rapidly outgrew the old damaged top which we removed to make way for the beautiful sides. Here`s some pics in random order. Showing a bit of the sexyness going on. http://imageshack.us/g/851/img0105e.jpg/ Looking forward to week 6 with a smile upon our faces!

Norway is a beautiful country, run by cunts! Now the prime minister is out gloryhauling, what did he do? Yeah, he got into his safety bunker in 4 mins flat, and holds a speech what a hero. He get's all the attention from the papers (run by the leftwingers) even tho the ppl at the camping at Utøya saved 250 PPL! I god damn hate politics...

Sound and looks like things are coming on nicely! Keep up the good work!

Hi girls and boys! New update. 1 week into flowering, and they show some "problems" some yellowish patterns on a few leaves and 1 might be a male, not sure yet, but the other 2 is clearly fem. Added a bit of N today, to see if this help with the leaves. They really drink alot now and otherwise seem healthy. Take a look at the pictures and help me determine what the problems are and what sex this one is... imageshack.us/g/856/img9963a.jpg/

Damn, the whole site went down while I was answering.. bah! Genetics unknown, mostly indica but one of them is changing from indica to more sativalooking leaves. I got lucky today, a headshop opened 20 m away and they have the nutes I need!

Thanks Superblue, that put my mind at easy a bit more, cause I topped the tallest, and took the absolute best sideshoot from the other, the third I let go unharmed. Making the total nr 5. A CFL is also in place, so now I can think about having a motherplant. I also gently bent the fanleaves with a bit of string, and already the side has improved a bit. Even put the smaller ones on a box so they're all the same height. I guess in 2 weeks the real work starts, cause then it's the 8th week They do really look healthy, no yellow leaves, no spots and no bugs. Luckily there is a flowergarden outside which makes getting ladybugs no problem at all Still haven't used any nutrients, other than root booster earlier. But will get some micros and Phosphorus for the flowering cycle. The question is, since cannabis fertilizer isn't sold here, are there other fertilizers I can use? I can get seaweed, cow, sheep, duck, chicken etc. manure if any of those might be useful? Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the support M8!

Thanks for the feedback! Seems like my little quest is off to a good start Legal concequences? well, 1 seed is counted and fined as a whole plant anyways, but I have a family who needs this, mom got cancer, dad a neck injury and I´ve been treating them with cannabis the last 2 months with real improvement! So I see this as my god given right to save my family. I really do hate the goverment of my otherwise beautiful country... But the political views are in a change and hopefully in a few years... Anyways, ty for the answers! More pictures to come

Is it too late to prune the plants? Cutting off some of the bigger leaves would get more light to all those sexy sideshoots But is the timing bad? Do I have to wait 2-3weeks after I´ve pruned them before I take a clone? Or can I prune and clone, then wait and keep these plants as mothers while letting the clones grow before putting them in bloom?

I have 3 babies under a 600wHPS. Have been growing for 44 days now, and in my opinion looks quite good. 2 short ones and one tall one (53cm), so now is the question... 1. Should I top the tallest and take some clones from the bottom of the 2 others, wait 2-3 weeks and put the clones in bloom? or 2. Should I just put the plants in bloom right away? Hoping to get some better genetics soon, but it´s proving a hard task to manage these days Any tips on what I should do is very welcome. imageshack.us/g/4/dsc00005bj.jpg/
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
