  1. Day 75... Pistills turning brown on most of the buds (50/50). Not the case with the 4-5 biggest (little too much stretch in the end) they have still 90% white pistills, not that many new ones shooting out. But Im still waitin for the buds to fatten up a bit :-( Im not expecting anything near my auto BAM (blueautomazar) buds...but not that much happend the last 2 weeks...and since I reduced the light cycle (1 week on 11/13) I expected her to move on...now I think she hat 2 more weeks to go (would be 13 weeks) ???!!!! Next time she is dryied out Im going to flush her and go with a 10/14 light scedule. The leaves are dying "faster" but not fast....most of the yellowing in the center of the screen is due to a lil bit too much heat....10cm distance to the bulb...now 20cm...
  2. Hiho, what do you guys think about reducing the light cycle from 12/12 to 11/13 and 10/14. ? Does it reduced the yield (could not be that dramatic I think) ? And does it really mature faster (noticeble) ?
  3. Week 10...
  4. Hiho, Okay so the bees tries to pollinate the female plants (or better: just based on their instict do it like ubuntu says right) ...but in the end...because they dont produce fructose syrup (and no pollen since female) nothing would contribute (mass) to their honey. Or do u (Ubuntu) mean that all the Taste/and THC comes from the accidently stuck to the bees trichomes ? Additionally there is surely no THC in The pollen of Male ones (but why have a field of males?!). So if the bees collect them and use them (which I doubted but u and the link told me otherwise) the only thing that might could be in the honey is enzymatic digested pollen. So the Honey mighy be smelling/tasting diffrent maybe even weed like?! but never contain any THC! bless btw: loved to see that goat :-)
  5. Hiho, I´m super baked so excuse me if wrong....but I dont think anything of this works like this....first: pollen (male sperm) surely does not contain any THC ...why should it ? apart of the fakt a a Pollen is a feq µm big I gues...The trichomes where allt of the thc is produced is a looot bigger (U need this hole thing to synthesise THC so I doubt there is any mechanism some vesicles coult travel into pollen (on molecular base..not the trichome fusing with pollen^^). Second: Dope is pollinated by wind...doesnt care for insects...even have trichomes to get them off the flowers....Third: Due to the fact that Dope does not produce big amounts of fructoe and shit syrup...aka honye... no Bee will reallly try to collect anything from it. In contra to ur observation?! maybe they were curious about the smell...but did the really try to suck anything out of them ? again sorry if totally wrong but Im preatty sure about it... Bless
  6. Day 38...Flushed her 2 days ago with 40 L phed water last 4 L with very low nutes. I noticed the leaves below the screen are dying or whilting faster than before...think this means no trouble with lockout or something. She just sucks all the nutes out of the lower shadowed leaves. Next feed Im going to raise nute level slightly. Finally some change in the bud developement is visible :-) Maybe slow flowering Phaeno...or it was just too hot (temperatures now dropped to nice 25°C). Bless
  7. Day 35 of Flowering. Lowest set of leafes finally died. But I think this is ledgit since these leafes were nearly 3-4 Months old (first new set of leafes of the cutting) and not getting any light for the last 3 weeks or so...dont thinks its some fert prob. Buds are finally starting to "put on" some weight after 3 weeks of no developement except stretch and! resin production :-) She drinks 3-4 l every other day...2 Times just water and molasses (tiny tiny zip) third time with Hesi Bloom fert (but think will give her just a bit of PK+ (1/4 of thereccomended dose) and Molasses the next times...no more N for her (except the N from the Molasses). Also have a 6 watt LED strip (says equal to 30 watt) from a fish tank...adding "some" blue to the spectrum...maybe keeps nodes shorter?! Bless
  8. Hi Hunters, as the title suggestes...here are some impressions on my 150 watt ndl (still...im sorry) grow. Strain is a Hawaiian Snow from GHSC. A friend of mine bought it in Amsterdam in January and thought it would be a nice strain to grow on ur balcony...in crowded area... should have called me first. Blablabla few weeks later...I topped his plants to keep them "short"(impossible). One Head Topping went to my tent...grew it in the shadow of an damnesia (GHCS) auto for nearly 2 months. I topped it (3) 4 times trien to keep it short and "stress" it as much as I could to keep it short while my regular auto grow continues. A while ago I chopped my auto and made me a nice 60x60cm screen. Continued veg with mild nutrient solution (Canna Terra Vega) till 30% of the sreen was full. But, of course underestimated the stretch. Thought my 8 evenly colas wouldent stretch that much...but Im still satisfied (as long as she stops stretching within the next days (today is day 32 of bloom) with the scrog result but see for ur self. 150 watt NDL 28-31°C at day (heat wave in europe-_- but I think most indicas would already have given up doesnt seem to effect her) 26°C at night 20 L squar pot (drilled some additionel holes to test medium) Canna Terra professionell Plus Canna Terra Vega (1/4 from the recommended dose) Hesi Bloom/PK-plus mix (1/2-1/3 every other time) Tiny zip of Molasses as Calmag substitute (very soft water here) First Pic 4-1/2weeks ago...start of blooming phase. Last pic tody...day 32 No Problems at all at the moment...First flush after 2 weeks of flowering nex one within the next week.
  9. 110g "dry" main buds(in jars right now)..6g chocolate from 50g trim. #2 still smells like fresh chopped gras...green. Hinds of pine and earth...but g I got to wait #1 smells like one fresh cut lemon...for just 7 days of drying. very graipfruit like... wait for more to come bless
  10. 385g pure bud...50g not that dense loose buds....10g trim. Both of them yielded exactly (1g +-) the same 192g (Bud with stem!). quite Happy :-)
  11. chop chop today...
  12. Problem! ...#1 (last pic) is doing fine...few days to go...but #2 (first 3 pics) starts to cannabalise its suguar leaves and appeares really ripe (but just a few! amber trichs mainly milky). Problem is that I intended to chop them both the same time...and last flush is just 3 days ago...but Im worried #2 will literally die (some pistills falling of already). So what do u guys think? Wait and chop both in 4-5 Days or Kill #2 soon and let #1 bloom on a while?
  13. Hiho, 2 days ago both ladies got their final flush. 20 l water pH 6 ish for each. Think I will feed both with pure water one last time when dried up again... due to the fact that I use the tent also for drying I have to chop both of them...in about 5 days I think. The bigger one is obviously not as ripe as the smaller one...but both lost many fan-leaves.
  14. Hiho, Im not the expert around here...but soil seems way! to wet. And 2 times a day is maybe too much depends on how much u use every time^^ Maybe less water in the soil more in the air ?! Humidity could be higher I think. But just my 2 cents wait for more qualified answers :-)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
