Hey Sixstring2021, I kinda have a small point to prove regarding the CFL's atm, so I'll be sticking with them for awhile still, I will be doubling up come the weekend, and change to 50/50 cool white and warm white when flowering starts. They're all currently in a grow tent with highly reflective material all round.

Hey kdstanhope, Thanks for the reply! It doesn't get nearly that cold over here in the summer, through the night is often difficult to sleep because of the heat! As for the decent bud, I'll be placing an order this week And sadly, Durban is a 6 - 7 hour drive from where I stay

Hey dkstanhope, I'm using 4 x 23w Cool White atm, I'm hoping to double this on the weekend though. The actual smoke the seeds came from was pretty decent considering where it comes from, I'm quite sure it will turn out to be a decent plant when grown and looked after properly. As for out doors, I would love to grow out door, Centurion is pretty perfect for it, but sadly I live in a complex with complex supplied garden services, so my garden is not exactly private.

Thanks for the awesome welcome guys! Looking forward to some fun! Just enjoyed my first smoke-a-long

Hi Guys! Thanks for the comments! I don thinkg this is more the seed than the substrate, this seems to be a local sativa strain, more than likely Swazi, which is quite a slow growing plant. For us Southern hemisphere people, this is sort plant would be something that gets planted early Spring (beginning of September) and it would only start flowering around the beginning of Autumn (Towards the end of March).

Hi Guys, I thought I'd share my grow with you all. This is some random bagseed, the bud it came from was very much a sativa, I'm hoping the seed produces the same sort of herb. Enjoy This was taken on the 18th of September http://i52.tinypic.com/dpv24g.jpg This was a week later on 27th of September http://i51.tinypic.com/25hfyg3.jpg These are a few days later on the 1st of October http://i54.tinypic.com/k9drt1.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/wvx1n8.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/206d3du.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/zxjs77.jpg A week later, on the 8th of October http://i56.tinypic.com/2nu6nwj.jpg And one week later on the 15th of October http://i51.tinypic.com/16iv1wp.jpg And again one week later, yesterday, the 22nd of October http://i54.tinypic.com/2642xkm.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/21japli.jpg This is just my first grow, should this start looking like a great, I plan on getting some Green House seeds to do it properly

Morning Guys, I'm from South Africa, and I've been following the Strain Hunters for awhile and I've become a huge fan! So, I figured it's time to join this awesome community, and share my first ever grow with you guys! Peace
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
