Let's all get high and spread yhe positive vibe of the cannabis community and support the people that push for the legalization of are amazing cannabis plant. Peace and pot to everyone!
  4. Hey Ghost and Dust, I did the "main lining" technique on my last plants from seed. I did 4 plants total and 4 different strains. It works alot better from seed since the nodes are across from each other instead of staggered like on clones. I hard topped at third node so could take clones. It took 63 days from sprout to get the nice eight top plants. Growth is slow until after topped acouple times. Bad news was when I put into flower I found out all four were males. All that work for nothing, but it was a learning experience. I have the photos still if anyone wants to see them. They are stripped of all leaf so its easy to see structure.
  5. cant wait see you all there!!!!
  6. Mauritian grower: your right its the highland. A very nice smoke for sure. It made me overly paranoid though. I wouldn't use it for anti anxiety that's for sure. Thanks and would like to see any photos you have of the landraces you mentioned.
  7. Thanks for all the votes guys. Cindy 99 is the best part of waking up. Has become one of my favorites also.
  8. Cabay gets my vote. I love the plumpness of that bud, its swollen.
  9. Quick question. Does the tobacco juice hurt the plant at all.
  10. Nice SSH. My favorite strain slh. It's nice to see the Midwest representing killer buds. Keep it up my friend. I have a 12 gram cheese bud curing now.
  11. Was supposed to be in bud of month. Put in wrong one and didn't delete all the way. Too high. That is a beautiful ssh. What's was your yield? Looks massive. 1.5 lb my guess.
  12. Pineapple pheno. The grapefruit pheno I had the buds were airy. Not worthy for contest. Great smoke on both though. But have to say pineapple is my favorite.
  13. Another awesome day on the hunt boys. Them plants are massive, couldn't imagine seeing a bunch of plant over 10 ft. They're sick. Can't wait to see landrace tomorrow. Swaziland looks like a very beautiful place. Keep up the great work you guys are doing, we are all on the edge of our seats waiting for your next updates. Simon you did a great job with the scouting. I also want to thank all you other strainhunters for all there comments, we have such a close knit brotherhood. And im proud to be a part of it.
  14. I haven't grown any myself either. I do have a friend in Colorado working with landraces. He has a strain from the town Hailed Salassie was from in eithiopia. And a lowlands columbian. I think that saving all these landraces now is gonna make huge impact. Think of them as the building block for future awesome strains.
  15. Can't wait to see what they found today. Hopefully its pure Swazi. Everything looks amazing. Franco give us some swazi smoke description ( taste, potency, etc).

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
