  1. Hello I recently got my first autoflower and followed the usual method for germination. Soaked the seed in a glass for s few hours, then placed it in between moist paper towels and it germinated within 24 hours. After that I placed the germinated seed tap root facing down in potting mix on 8th August. Now the sprout has grown only an inch tall and the seedling has not opened up. Ive been keeping the soil medium pretty wet. Have I done something wrong how to fix this?
  2. Hello guys, This is my first post, but I am regular visitor of the forum. I am a great fan of Autoflowering strains and I am willing to start growing exclusively CBD strains to help my insomnia and other health problems. I am looking for Autoflowering strains with high level of CBD and low THC. From what I see on different seedbanks they offer strains with relatively high levels of THC (more then 0.2 percent) and I am looking to start growing strains with THC levels under 0.2 percent. I am starting to grow my first indoor grow in Spain and want to grow under the Spanish laws which allow you to grow Cannabis with THC levels under 0.2 percent. There are already strains mentioned in the law which are industrial hemp which is neither Autoflower neither gives you good buds. Can you guys help finding nice CBD autoflower seeds with lower THC level then 0.2 percent? Thank you so much in advance and happy to share a bud with you once I start! Thanks! BR Sensizond
  3. Hello Guys! I'm a recent grower here and having a problem with one of my autoflower green gelato. It is the only that is showing these black spots on the leaves. It is on the 8 week. Is it a fungus or a Potassium or a Magnesium deficiency? What should I do? Thank You for your help!
  4. Here are 3 of my 6 big bang autoflowers grown in coco and all lst'd and had heavy defoliation throughout life cycle currently on day 72 from seed.. Anyone ever grown this strain and or does anyone have a rough idea how long I have left?... I also have a K-train in its own tent which was flipped to flower at day 70 of veglet me know thoughts guys will post other 3 plants tommorow.
  5. Hello fellow growers, I'd like to share my progress. I have 4 plants as you can see, the small ones are only about one week old. The bigger ones, are already blooming. I planted them around the end or March and the beginning of April. Sadly, the weather started to get terrible from then up until a few weeks ago. I did not want to throw them away because I believe they will produce something, I'd like to test the taste of them They look quite decent besides a few flaws, but the buds are looking good. The smell is not too strong, which is good. I hope the weather will continue doing good so I can grow much bigger plants from them. I quite underestimated how complicated it would be to grow autoflowers, but I'm starting to understand them a little more as they progress. If anyone has some tips and tricks I'd like to know! I'll try to keep this post updated.
  6. Hey guys and galls , Chuck here . Decided to share my growyournal whit all of you. Its day 19 above ground for most of my girls some are between day 9 and 13 . I did germinate all of them at the same time under same conditions , but some took longer the others . But hey they made it =) My setup is a secret jardin 150x150x200cm 2x600watt hps multispectrum light scheme is 18/6 treu out intire grow cycle, ive tried running 24/0 but would never ever ever do that aggain, at the moment i am running 1 light at the moment . An corbonfilter with more than enough cappacity . The soil im using is bio soil pkn 5-6-7 +4 no idea what the +4 is . Mixed in 12 liter pots 60% dirt 30% perlite 10% coco .
  7. Enough talk of a journal, time to start one!! Here are the basic plans, some pictures, as well as my journal chronicling what has been happening over the past 9 days. Tonight they are being moved into their new bigger 23 L homes and I will have an updated post with pictures of the procedure soon. I wish everyone in the cup the best of luck and hope that I can provide both an informative and entertaining journal for all to read/view, and once again showcase the awesomeness of the Greenhouse Powderfeed! Peace GHSC Autoflower Cup Grow – 4 Strains – 6 plants Seeds: 2 x Super Critical Auto 2 x Sweet Mango Auto 1 x Northern Lights Auto 27/05/2013 - ** One NLA did not sprout so I am going to germinate 1 Big Bang Auto tonight. 1 x Big Bang Auto Growing media: Jiffy™ Peat starter pots – will transplant to 23 L pots once rooted in Jiffy’s 23 L pots - Pro Mix™ High Porosity/Grodan™ Growchunks/Hydrotron™ clay pellets @ approx. 40/40/20 mix Lighting: 18 hours on and 6 hours off entire grow Seedlings : 2 x Sunblaster™ T5 fluorescent - hung vertically on each side of the LED and angled towards the seedlings 1 x Sunshine Systems LED ** Lights will be kept a fair distance away as I am going for a mixed spectrum here not a ton of intensity Vegetation: 4 x 28W Sunshine Systems™ LED’s Flower: The 600W Hortilux Super HPS bulb w/cool tube reflector will be added once they are getting closer to flowering + 4 x LED’s Ventilation: Intake – (will be added once they are in the 23 L pots) via a 4 inch (10 cm), 176 cfm (300 M3/hr) Typhoon™ inline fan with a Mountain Air carbon filter attached on the intake end to provide some protection against fungi or bacteria etc. from entering the tent. This is new as so far I have relied only on passive intake, but I believe this could definitely improve yield. Extraction – via a 6 inch (15 cm), 280 cfm (475 M3/hr) CK™ inline fan with Mountain Air filter Water, Nutrients & Additives: Seedling transplant: All plants will receive Botanicare™ ZHO (Rhizosphere root inoculant w/trichoderma & mychorrizae) at transplant to 23 L pots Water & Nutrients: All plants will receive R/O (reverse osmosis) water + Botanicare™ Cal-Mag Plus and GHSC™ Mother’s Powderfeed once they are rooted and into 23 L pots until signs of flowering at which point they will be switched to the GHSC Hybrid Powderfeed. Unfortunately I don’t having any Indica powderfeed (other than 2 x 20 g sample packs that I will try out) which is recommended for autos but I was happy with the results once I started using the Hybrid feed last auto grow and hopefully using the Powderfeed from start to finish this time will only improve things. Additives will be used but not 100% sure which ones yet. And again, I will also use ZEO2™ CO2 producing pads for now, but am looking into other CO2 producing sources/methods for small spaces and this may change during the grow. 19/05/13 GERMINATION: Soaked seeds at 7:11 pm 19/05/13 in mineral water EC of 0.66, pH 6.8, temp @ 19 degrees to start, temperature should rise a few degrees. Glasses were placed in a box sealed from light and on top of the fridge where it will stay consistently warm. **EDIT** Having done more research, and having done this with the last Big Bang seed, I will in the future germinate with r/o water + tiny bit of Cal - Mag with EC no higher than 0.15, & pH @ 5.5. I was lazy and didn't pH and should have, and mineral water or not 0.66 is waay too high to germinate seeds considering they have all that they need in the seed to germinate. 20/05/2013 PLANTING: I opened the box 18 hrs later to find some seeds split their shell and others hadn’t. What is disturbing is that the water in each glass had a film on top of it L I used spring water that I’d opened a few months ago and sealed again, but with nothing persistent in the water to disinfect it (like chlorine in drinking water) something must have grown in it. I really should have known better with what I’ve learned in my water course in school and should have used fresh unopened spring water. I am hoping for the best but I fear the worst and I may need to purchase new seeds this coming weekend when I go to the Treating Yourself Expo in Toronto and start over if they don’t sprout into healthy little seedlings. Currently using one LED panel 18 inches directly above jiffys to germinate – with 2 x T5 Sunblaster fluorescents hanging vertically and angled towards the jiffy’s waiting to add mixed spectrum once they sprout and are a few days old. Once they are moved into their 23L homes I will have all 4 LED’s running until they are strong enough to add the 600W HPS Lights on 18 hrs: Room temp = 25 - 26°C rH = 55 % LED Light Height – 45 cm’s (18 inches) T5 = 23 cm’s (9 inches) from seedlings on the end Lights off 6 hrs: Room temp = 21°C rH = 65 % 21/05/13 No change 22/05/13 Today I added a heated seedling mat (* a new one, the old one would burn em up if not careful) to speed up the process a little I can see one SMA baby making her way up so far – I planted them a little deeper this time to help give them enough distance/friction to shed the seed and keeping them nice and moist while doing so. Having to spray and pry them off works but not always and having them worked off naturally is much preferred. @ 8:30 - one of each auto is showing signs of sprouting Lights on 18 hrs: Room temp = 23 °C Temp at base of jiffy pellets = 27 – 28 °C rH in room = 60 % average 23/05/13 @ 6 pm- approximately 77 hours after planting Sweet Mango Auto’s – both have split their shell and the bent stems are surfaced with cotyledons on their way up Super Critical Auto’s – Both have sprouted fully and look healthy Northern Lights Auto – one baby sprouted fully with healthy cotyledons, but 1st true leaves tips are looking white, I will keep an eye on her. The 2nd hasn’t shown signs of much yet so we will see. Watered - mixed new water: reverse osmosis w/small amount of Cal-Mag Plus EC = 0.4 pH = 5.5 Temp = 21 °C @ 8 pm - Now that almost all have sprouted and most have visible taproots I turned off heated mat, and turned on small ceramic oscillating heater to maintain proper temperature air temperature around 25 – 27. I want to get them into their new 23 L homes a lot quicker than the last autos and plan on transplanting them on Sunday or Monday most likely (in 3 – 4 days). Also started using the large humidifier to maintain target rH – around 65 – 70% for my set-up at this stage. Lights on 18 hrs: Room temp = 25 - 26 °C rH in room = 60 – 68 % 24/05/13 Status: Sweet Mango Auto’s – Both sprouted fully and with the exception of the very tips of the 1st true leaves looking a little white they look healthy. Super Critical Auto’s – Continue to grow 1st leaves and taller Northern Lights Auto – Still only the 1 baby sprouted outta 2, positive news is 1st true leaves looking more green and less brown and growing quickly. ** Going to buy a 5 pack of GHSC auto seeds this weekend, just not sure which ones yet, and may have 4 autoflower strains in the tent this time – maybe Big Bang? After time spent thinking about the cause of white tips on the first true leaves of some plants I considered that it is very unlikely that the autoflower seed-stock, especially of the new strains, would be very old and soaking them could create excess moisture causing the issue? Just a thought and maybe I’m wrong and it probably has to do with whatever was in the germination water – I’m sure these strong plants will fight anything nasty, crossing my fingers. LED Light Height = 40 cm’s (16 inches) Lights on 18 hrs: Room temp = 26 - 27 °C rH in room = 65-70 % Lights off 6 hrs: Room temp = 21°C rH = 65 – 70 % 27/05/13 – 4 days since sprouting Growth has been moving along nicely for the 5 babies. Second true leaves are already visible and the initial issues with white tips on some are already becoming a thing of the past. Taproots are visible as well as multiple feeder roots, especially on the Super Criticals. I’m going to wash up the 23 L pots tonight and transplant them in the next couple of days so as not to slow the rapid growth down. Tonight I’m also going to soak a Big Bang auto seed to take the place of the NLA seed that didn’t germinate, it’s my first try at growing 4 different strains together, and my first try at growing the Big Bang Auto last Auto grow I did 8 plants and 3 strains. Mixed new water: Reverse Osmosis (r/o) water +Cal Mag Plus to 0.4 EC + GHSC Mother’s Powderfeed to 0.6 EC total. pH = 5.6 Temp = 22 °C @ 10:45 pm – soaked a Big Bang Auto seed in r/o water + a few drops of Cal – Mag Plus = 0.20 EC & temperature @ 21 ° C. Placed in a light proof box in the grow room where it is about 25 – 26 °C LED Light Height = 35 cm’s (14 inches) T5 – 23 cm’s (9 inches) Lights on 18 hrs: Room temp = 25-27 °C rH in room = 65-75 % Lights off 6 hrs: Room temp = 22 °C rH = 70– 78 % 28/05/13 Planted a Big Bang auto seed after soaking it for 18 hrs in r/o water + Cal Mag Plus @ 0.30 EC & pH @ 6.0. Trying out a clear glass over top of the Jiffy to help improve rH and maintain a higher humidity around it until it sprouts. There are a number of gaps between the glass and the seedling tray which will allow some air exchange Noticed a few small orange/brown spots on the one Super C. auto and the Northern Lights auto. I don’t think it is anything serious and growth continues nicely. I am going to consider transplanting them tomorrow.
  8. Hello everybody! Long-time grower and activist, former MMJ dispensary owner. I've been growing indoors and outdoors since I was 15... in my 30s now. I have definitely done my part to legalize cannabis here in Colorado but got burned-out by the greedy politicians trying to make money off medicine. Now it's legal for recreational use and I don't mind the taxes on this as much as I did having to tax the sick and disabled. I've been off the radar for a couple years now... this summer I will be growing ........ .. ...... .... . Looking for some local help with genetics since Greenhouse Seeds won't ship to the U.S.. Interested in auto-flowers but skeptical because they sound too good to be true. Since I am at about 2200m above sea level I am looking for some Afghani strains so I can harvest before the snows in October. Would like to connect with other growers in the Pikes Peak area.
  9. Hi all! This is a documentation of my first attempt at a grow. As this is my first attempt i think its safe to say im a complete noob, so if anyone spots anything im doing wrong please comment and tell me how to correct it! I hope you enjoy reading this anyway and thanks in advance for any advice. So here's my inventory; =GEAR= -600w HPS -PS1 fluorescant strip lights (purple for propogating) -40w and 2x 18w CFL's 6500k (also for propogating/veg) -4" circulating fan -Digital thermo/hygrometer =MEDIUM= -50L canna coco -10L perlite -10L clay pebbles -Rockwool cubes =NUTRIENTS= -Canna coco A+B -Formulex (baby food as the lady in shop referred to it) So far this is all i have and i intend to equip myself with a decent sized tent to fit my wardrobe (about 600x600x1200mm) and air intake/extake fans which i will get before i put them under the HPS. It has now been about 10 days since i first germinated the seeds but i will still document the beginning as i already have images for it. So i dropped them in the glass of water and waited a day or so. They sank to the bottom so i moved them into a tupperware box with tissue and water and put the lid on, this then stayed under my drawers for a day or so. I soaked the rockwool cubes in formulex solution (1ltr water per 5ml) and then placed the seeds inside (i only did 2 seeds, i have a 3rd germinating at the moment). The cubes were then placed in tupperware dishes with clay pebbles surrounding them and water in the bottom, a few days on i moved the cubes into small pots with coco/perlite/pebbles and left that in the tupperware dish. I have them under the PS1 light and the 40w and 1 18w CFL with the circulating fan blowing directly onto them. My thermometer is saying around 30 degrees which i have read is a bit too high (should be around 25?), despite this the plants seem to be doing fine. One of them came out with browny/yellow seed leaves yet the true leaves are nice and green and look good, this second plant is not growing as fast as the first one though although they were germinated at the same time. Yea thats about where im up to with it all at the moment, any thoughts you'd care to share would be received gratefully and ill keep posting with updates! hope you like the photos, the big one is looking really good!
  10. Hey everyone, Today i started germination on 3 autobomb seed's as they are the only auto's i have left from green house seed co, the seed's are about a year old so i hope that they will pop. This grow i decided to try something alittle different, i was previously doing my grow's in coco. However because i have a box of General Organic's entire line that i have to use up because it has already been opened so this grow will be entirely organic and instead of using coco i decided to go all out and buy a really nice an rich organic soil. the soil i am using consist's of rich black humus , organic compost, canadian sphagnum peat moss, sand, MycroActive Mycorrhizae and the soil is OMRI Certified . as far as fertilizer i will be using the entire general organic's line. i have never done a full organic grow indoor's and i havent grown in soil in a long while but i was getting comfortable with my previous choice of medium and decided it's time to switch it up, for a change. for container's i have two 11L container's and one 2 gallon container. a choice i made because i bought to much soil but both container's will be sufficient to use from seed to harvest in soil the 11L's might even be too much. the light is a 400W hps. so i planted the seed's tonight they should pop in the next day or so and when they do i will take my first pic's and do my first update. here are the picture's i took of the seed's right before i planted them. So anyway's i will be posting pic's as soon as they pop!!! until then take her easy!
  11. Ok guys it's time for a second round , this time i decide to grow some of the DNA Genetics and , GREENHOUSE SEEDS as well here 2 Trainingdays (DNA)
  12. Stunting Super Auto's for small spaces. Advice on growing the Super Auto "Ogre" from Lowryder's Joint Doctor :- The amount of growth and yields produced in so little time makes OGRE one of the fastest high yielding plants in the world. Indoor in soil plants require 1 gallon pots to start, sex will show between day 17-21, transplant to 3-5 gallons until harvest. Outdoor start plants outside in a greenhouse or similar in 2 gallon pots, after sexing transplant into 5+gallon pots or directly into prepared soil beds, harvest at 65-70 days. Pretty much What the guy in the video said. Peace Lams

  16. Grow Journal #2 - Fully Automatic! Hi everyone, finally got the room cleaned up and ready for my second growing attempt. Going with all GHSC strains and all autoflowering strains. I would like to be able to recover some of my losses from the powdery mildew that hit 2 of my scrog plants from my last grow and thought now would be a great time to try growing some autos! So here we go Seeds: All GHSC – 3 Northern Lights Auto - 3 Sweet Mango Auto - 3 Super Critical Auto Growing media: Started in peat starter pots – will transplant directly to 12 liter pots once rooted in peat pots Pro Mix High Porosity/Grodan growcubes/Hydrotron clay pellets @ approx. 40/40/20 Lighting: Seedlings - 2 x T5 Sunblaster until ready to be transplanted and moved into tent Short veg period – 2 x T5 Sunblasters + 3 x LED (rated equivalent of 250W hps sodium each) Flower – 600W Hortilux Super HPS + 3 x LEDS Nutrients & Additives: - Reverse osmosis water+ - Seedling transplant: Botanicare ZHO (Rhizosphere root inoculant w/trichoderma & mychorrizae) - Veg: Cal Mag, DNF Veg line, DNF Enhance (pine oil additive), Advanced Nutrients B-52, potassium silicate - Flower: Cal-Mag, DNF Flowering line, DNF Enhance, potassium silicate, (maybe some Advanced Nutrients Overdrive not sure yet with them being autoflowers) Also: - Will also use CO2 producing pads - Enhance will be used as a foliar spray as well to protect against mold/mildew etc 09/10/2012 - update - 28 hours after planting seeds in jiffy’s one Super Critical sprouted so far already! - Watered one sweet mango that was drying out a bit on the bottom with 5.8 ph’d R/O with 0.30 mL/L cal-mag- (1/4 strength..since tap water has dissolved solids I wanted to give a tiny bit of what would be in tap water) - Temp in dome 27 celsius - partially opened dome now that first seed sprouted I will try and keep up on this journal best as possible being busy with school and all...I need to learn how to update without being so damn descriptive/long winded lol. Peace, happy growin & tokin
  17. Hey guys im new to this forum and completing my first autoflower grow ever. I grew Stitch;s Formula 1, it is an f1 cross that should be released to the public by the end of this year. Grown in a 5gal bag using an amended fox farms organic soil. We used a simple 2 part feed with Ionic grow with hygrozyme and kushie kush with molasses and hygrozyme, nothing else. Started her under a 250mh then added a 250hps, then added a mixed spec 4ft t5 and finished her last 2.5 weeks under a 600w hps 250w mh and 200w 4ft t4. Had a blast growing this strain from the start she was a very hearty plant with a thick stalk and many large side branches. Has some lemony tones with a beautiful skunk undertone to really make her stink when aggitated. Growing to 28in tall and 29in wide before we bonded her to the main stalk for suppport. She was large and in charge. We did a staggered chop first taking any tops that looked ready with about 25% amber trichs, a few days later we took down the lower nugs and left the top with a few higher side branches with golfball sized nuggets. As of today we are starting to cure everything but the main cola which will be taken down this evening, we have a dry weight of 89g of primo nugs and about 5-7g of shakey under developed buds. Thinking the top alone will be over 1 ounce so this was a very successful haul. Let me know what you think, P.S. When I get more time I will start my photo period journal that is 5 days into flower. P.S.S. I will be growing more of Stitch's new strains before they come to market so stay tuned for more updates
  18. Smallest Auto plant possible ever. About 7 inches tall. One kola growing out the ground really. Was a freebie thrown in an order. Seems to have skipped the Veg stage and went right into flowering from germination. LOL My friend was embarrassed to post it, so I decided to on his behalf. Can this flower for a few more weeks?? Posting from a mobile so sorry if pic didn't show correctly
