  2. Hi im new here. I have 4 church plants given to me by a friend. When i recieved them they were burned and not very healthy but since i have had them for 2 weeks they seem to have gotten alot bigger and healthier. Let me know what you all think. 5. hello Green house cannabis cup contestents and just fans of the site. today i planted 4 GHSC White lemon's, and with that it is time to start my grow journal for the contest. So Below i will give you all the information with regards to my grow / nutrient test i am conducting for my first entry in the cup. For this grow, i will be using a straight Coco medium. No perlite, no vermiculite, no added nutrients to the medium. i am doing this so that the plants will be be responding souly to the nutrients i feed them and nothing else. As i said i planted 4 white lemon seeds today once the seeds pop i will start them on a floresent bulb until they are developed seedlings then slowly introduce them to the MH 400W blub for veg, after a short veg period i will start flowering at which time the MH blub goes back on the shelf and out comes the 400W HPS. a quick list of all the ingredients involed in this grow: 1. 4 GHSC White lemon seed's - free, thank you green house 2. 1 brand new powersun 400W digital ballest , mogel and reflector - 150$ canadian 3. 1 brand new 400W sylvania Metalarc MH blub for veg - 25$ canadian 4. 1 brand new 400W sylvania Lumalux HPS bulb for flowering - free with light kit 5. 4 2 gallon pots to start with catch trays for run off - free with lighting kit 6. coco for medium - so far i have used less then 5$'s worth of a 15$ brick 7. GHSC Powderfeeding Hybrid - free, thanks to green house seed co 8. General hydroponic's Flora nova - free left over from previous grow 9. make shift watering jug - 99 cents total cost for this grow $ 180.99 canadian, mind you i will get many crops out of my ballest and probably 4 - 6 crops out of the bulbs. so let's see what kinda damage i can do. a picture of the free kit i received from green house for entering the contest within the first 300 entries. i don't germinate seeds before planting them i just throw them in the medium about an inch down asshole up and apply water. so for now all i have to share is photo's of my set up but stay tuned as i will be updateing this journal very often, and share loads of pictures. GHSC White lemon not yet ready to come out of its shell but soon enough!!! stay tuned for an update as soon as they pop!
  6. Hello friends! I'm almost finished my autoflower grow and just can't wait any longer to get my Cup journal started. Especially since I picked up the seeds 2 days ago and my "secret weapons" shipment that I ordered from Holland on Friday, showed up here in Canada by UPS today Talk about fast! After the success that I saw switching to the Powderfeed with my auto's about 1/2 way through the grow, I decided to add to the free 1 kg of Hybrid Powderfeed that GHSC generously sent me (to be used for the Trainwreck during flowering) by purchasing 1 kg of Mother's Powderfeed for both strains for vegetative growth & 1 kg of Sativa (called "Long Flowering" for Canada & the USA customers lol) for the Super Lemon Haze plants during flowering. As you can see in the picture, they also kindly and generously sent me a free hat (my first GHSC item!) after I spoke with them by phone when my dumb ass (see also stoned) accidentally clicked and ordered 2 bags of Mother Powderfeed by mistake I have to say that the guys at the Powderfeed store were more than friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks Mike, and thanks to the kind gentleman who answered my call, in Dutch, and got a good laugh when I innocently asked if he spoke English and then replied in perfect English, "Why yes of course" LOL. Oh boy..most Dutch speak English don't they? I can be so ignorant sometimes I thought many did but.. I need to thank Bigbrown for the "Yin-Yang" name, when I mentioned the strains I was thinking he said something about it being a real Yin-Yang grow, and he's right with two powerful strains at very opposite ends of the effects spectrum My plans so far are to germinate 6 seeds, 3 from each strain, grow them all out until they are ready to transplant into the 23 liter containers and go into the scrog keeping the 2 best from each strain and culling the other 2. I'm also thinking of doing a comparison with some plants receiving only the Powderfeed & the others the Powderfeed plus a few additives but I'm not 100% sure how I want to do that with 3 plants from each strain or exactly what additives I want to use. I might try just Powderfeed on 1 plant from each strain and additives on the other 2 plants for vegging, then move to 1 plant from each strain receiving only Powderfeed and the other 1 from each strain Powderfeed plus additives once they move into the 23 L pots. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please feel free to voice them I'm hoping to see/show that while the plants with additives may do a little better, there is not a huge difference between them and that the increased ease of use, and lower cost of using just the Powderfeed makes it an awesome product. But we will have to see, the purely Powderfeed plants may even outperform the plants with additives..that would be cool!! What I'm really hoping that I see that purchasing all of these additives and mixing them is a waste of my time and money But I'm a tinker, I just have to screw with stuff and try and make it a little better lol I'm not germinating today, germination date is January 2nd, same date as the harvest of my 3 remaining autos which I will hang to dry in the grow tent since it will not be in use until the SLH & Trainwreck babies grow bigger (and since it has a carbon filter!). I would start them right away but my seedling area right now is in the same room as my veg/flowering tent and it is at about 30-32% rH right now to finish flowering. So just before they are done I will be cranking up the 9 gallon humidifier shown in the picture that I just purchased specifically for this purpose to get rH to about 60% which will be perfect for a nice slow dry of the 3 plants from my last grow, and high enough for seedlings to start off comfortably. More pictures and details about gear and nutrients will follow with germination pictures next post which should be Jan 03 or 04th. I am picking up a few new things..an intake fan for the tent, an EC meter, and a 4th LED for vegetative growth and supplementary flowering lighting in the tent for sure. So that being said here are a few pictures of awesome GHSC products to start of this grow journal, as well as the awesome new Bob Marley shirt I got as a Christmas gift Best of luck to all growers and friends! PEACE EDIT: Ya I just realized I put the wrong package of seeds in front of the wrong Powderfeed..in case anyone is concerned that I may not know which one to use with what strain LOL
Paz y buenas vibras para todos/as To our american brothers and others who speak in english: I will not translate my posts, i will write two parts, one in Spanish and anotherone in English, saying the same things but not in the same way. First, i want to thank Green House and Strain Haunters for giving us this opportunity to cultivate new genetics, learning from others and trying to make others learn something from us. Awards aside, our biggest gain is the knowledge and friendship. About me: I'm from Argentina. I have four years cultivating indoor and although I'm not an expert but i've learned a lot in these years. You can see the first pictures above. In the next post I'll post pictures of the new indoor I built especially for this crop. Thanks for taking the trouble to read and feel free to ask, and give your opinions.

  11. Greetings grass people! I come to share with you this experience My Equipment A Box - 90x60x180 Air - Intra: Passive - Extra: Systemair Gas Sileo RvK 125 L1 323M³/H - Fac: ProActiv Carbon Filter - 125mm 400m3h - Ducting: Sono - Fan x2: Clip on Light SANlight Q-Series & Flex-Series Substrate/Grow - Probaly Light mix (plagron) + Perlite 50% (plagron) In Auto Pot 8L Fertilizer - Starter Kit (Bio Feeding) Gadgets - Hygrometer - Autonomous smoke detector and alarm - Fire extinguisher - Heater (wall poster 500watts) Variety Chemical Bride The chemical bride is a combination of our old time Classic Chemdog genetic from Greenhouse Seeds, with our selection of one of the big boomer in america from Seedjunky, the Wedding cake. The result is an amazingly compact flower production covered in glittering trichomes all over the surface and down to the leaves. The plant will not stretch a lot once switched into flower, it will grow in a bushy shape with strong secondary branches and short internodal length, a nice dark forest green often happens on the leaves like its father the Chemdog can have. The smell/taste of the Chemical Bride is a complex mix of both parents, with a strong creamy note coming to you first inherited by the chemdog and increased by the Wedding cake’s creaminess, then followed by some sour/gazy tones almost like a kind of OG smell, and finishing with a light earthiness that makes it an amazing strain for the palate. The effects of the flowers are very body relaxing and will last for quite a while, it will not produce a couchlock effect but more like a floating sensation where the body relaxes but the mind still works perfectly. A great smoke for creative/active people. Let us return immediately in the heart of the subject Germination (Humidified cotton) 2 seeds Hoping that my English is correct, I will make an effort! I already had the opportunity to try 2 strains from Green House, the Deep Candy (CBD) and the King's Juice, so it's only natural that I come to share that here too! [Deep Candy] [King's Juice] I will try to make a minimum of one update per week, just to see the evolution of the plants. I wish you a nice day, and don't hesitate if you have any questions or things to teach me, StrangleThorns.

- K I N G ' S J U I C E - - C H E M I C A L B R I D E -
  14. Hello folks I have grown for around 14years starting with the HPS and last few years has been with quantum boards with the LM301h.Iam now testing a bunch of new stuff and would love to hear if you guys have any mthing you want to see tested I have made a new grow room and got a beautiful light to fully cover the growing space and give a perfectly even ppfd for optimum SCROG canopy. The light is dimmable and at 100% runs at 750w, but in this room will be run 30-60%. The room is a small hobby 110cm x 130cm and everything painted with polyurethane. I have been waiting for a delivery for the last polyurethane (as the store had run out) so I apologize for the bad position of the plants in the photos - they will be moved and the big Blueberry OG moved under a SCROG in the back. And in the front 8-12plants of different strains (we will see how fast the growth is and how many plants will be needed to fill the canopy). Currently we are in veg week 2 and will be vegged another week. Total 21days from seed to start flower. The growing media is biobizz light mix and fed with greenhouse seeds powder feeding and abit of supplements Any questions or suggestions I would love to answer. And only left to say is thank you for your attention and lets see how this goes together
  15. Hey'all! It's been a while. A long while. But i'm back at it! Finally! So: I've been long debating with friends (i guess we all do) about whether a plant would survive a 24/0 schedule, hence a 24 hours of light and no time for a nap. We all know where this discussion goes: "YES it's possible! NO it's not! It's not natural! But automatics!!" It's an endless cycle of despair, and nobody has a true, definitive answer to the question. Now, i know many people have done this before, and yes, i'm very aware of my economical expendancies, thank you. All i want to do is see it with my own eyes. Will the plant suffer because of a constant 24 hours schedule? Possibly. I want to see that. And if it doesn't, then it'll be just a big plus for me. Will the plant go hermie on me, because of light stress? Who knows! I'm here to learn. So here i am, drinking a cola, dirtying my hands, gluing soundproof panels to the walls. It took me a while, but hey, look at the results! Soundproofing the whole room took me exactly 145 50x50cm panels, by the cost of 4 euros each, hence a grand total of 580 euros. I've also boxed the extractors. Covered the lower one with panels as i didn't want to do occult ads, hehe. The boxes are inner-covered with soundproof panels as well. Noise inside the room, and Noise outside the room I've also decided to freshen my light rack. I'm using a good old shitty 65W Cob lamp, and in late flowering i'm going to add a couple extrashitty ufos, 9W each, just to add some colors to the white, dead spectrum of the COB. Some blurple can't hurt, amirite? For this run, i chose a Northern Lights (Feminized), and the schedule i'm gonna run on her is gonna be a 24/0 in the 2 first weeks of the VEG phase. If the extra light theory works, then that should definitely save me some time. Why did i choose a NL? Well, it's a pretty easy strain to grow, and responds well to techniques and stress. The whole idea of this grow is to be experimental, not professional. Gonna use a 1Gallon (3.8 Lt) pot for this run. Small, compact, practical. Like a chocolate bar. 16. So. It is finally time to start this new year with a decent grow journal. Thanking GreenHouseSeeds for giving me this amazing opportunity to test out their WhiteRhino strain, and their Bio Feeding Line of powder nutrients. As mentioned in the inscription post, this will be my equipment: - 4x 6500K 35W LED - 4x Full Spectrum 45W LED - The GreenHouseSeed bank BIO Feeding Line - A 60x60x170 SecretJardin Grow Tent - Airflow with one small fan, and 2 filtered extractors (IN and OUT) for 108m3/h. - 2 initial WhiteRhino seeds, 1 will be chosen and brought to flowering. - Pot sizes, varying from 1L, to 6L, to 11L, to 18L. - A scrog net (this will be my first scrog attempt, please be merciful) - A lot of love and joy doing this. And duct tape. And beer. I plan to increase light power with the increased growth. - 1° Week 70W - 2° Week 105W - 3°-5° Week 140W - 6°-7 Week 140W + 45W FS - 8°-12° Week 140W + 90W FS - Remaining Weeks at Maxium Light Output (140W + 180W FS) With this i want to simulate the increased output of the sun, transitioning from spring, to summer. At the end of Week 7 i'll perform the switch to 12-12. I also plan to feed the girls 6 weeks for VEG, and 8 Weeks for Bloom. I'll start feeding at week 4, when i transplant from 6L to the final pot (which i still need to decide between 11 and 18L). This is the current plan for the grow, that WILL be revised as i go on. I'm sharing it just to give an idea. I also tried to germinate one seed some days before the new year, but it popped the surface as a dead seed. The root grew (small), but the small plant never got rid of the seed shells (after 14 days). I started 2 new seeds, and am waiting for them to pop the surface. I will decide between the 2, who gets to stay. Below, some pics of the equipment: This is the light rack i've crafted. Pretty basic, huh? Pot sizes AND room space. The little white buddy on the bottom right is the dehumidifier, that will be turned on when i switch to 12-12. A special thanks to GreenHouseSeeds. You guys are amazing. Nothing left to say, till the girls pop the surface. Until then... Peace!
  17. Hello I recently got my first autoflower and followed the usual method for germination. Soaked the seed in a glass for s few hours, then placed it in between moist paper towels and it germinated within 24 hours. After that I placed the germinated seed tap root facing down in potting mix on 8th August. Now the sprout has grown only an inch tall and the seedling has not opened up. Ive been keeping the soil medium pretty wet. Have I done something wrong how to fix this?
  18. Hi growers. This is germination complete, first soaking in water for 8 hours then placing in wet tissue. Two and a half days later we could see shell had split and left them another 12 hours before putting to coco and watered at around 6ph, the germination was plain tap water.
