  1. My last diary has come to an end! So I'm starting new. I've put 8 tangie ghost train, 2 herijuana Jack 33, 1 blue lemon Thai, 1 cheese going to be growing them in coco this time round with canna products not using canna boost I'll be using advanced nutrients liquid carboload. I've bought a new spektrum King 400+ led fitting debating whether I'll be able to use that along side my 300+ totalling 1600w in a 1.2sqm tent 2.2m high with 5in outtake twin speed rhino fan and filter 4"intake
  2. Decided to start off scratch and start a new diary I have got a starter kit of DNA mills nutrients to try out so I got some of there coco with cork to try. I put 7 viper cookies on germination had a dud pack only one cracked and came out of soil but has been deformed the petioles wouldn't open or face upwards I tried to free them and accidentally snapped one off but 3 days later today it's finally showing first set of leaves poking out! Not holding out on this one but I'm hoping she pulls through! I put 3 Girl Scout cookies 1 is up and startin second set of leaves one didn't crack and other didn't do anything in coco I dug it out and gave up on it left it on top of coco in dark corner of room ready to throw away went to dispose of it today to notice 2 tap roots growing and very hairy so I repotted it let's see what f I end up with twins!! 2 Black D.O.G rooting vigorously but one has stretched stupidly and is very weak and floppy! Also put 5 great white shark to replace the viper cookies 4 germinated 3 made it above coco of which one has no leaves just the petioles and its hollow inside so I'll either have 7 in total or 5 if I have 7 I'll finish them off in 11ltr pots if only 5 18ltr pots. I got a feeding guide for their nutrients for a guidelines me it's pretty good but for newbies the ec levels could be a killer check the veg levels!! Sorry pic is sideways my phone is having a glitch! I've started off quarter strengths ec 0.5 and so far they have been the darkest I've ever had seedlings looks like the nutrients are very easy to use!
  3. High, once again! Decided to start a new grow and going to do just one strain this time of GHSC Trainwreck going to be using canna coco with their line of nutrients going to be using 18litre pots this time round as I intend in vegging them till mid October! I will be using my trusty spektrum King LED 300+ and 400+ in 1.2sqm tent with 5" rhino dual speed fan for intake and 6" phresh hyper fan for outtake. If anyone's got any advice on training them I'm open was thinking LST and topping them ideally no scrog as I'll have to hide them for half a day in October.
  4. The Seedlings are all White Lemon, only 3 of the 4 look viable. They are 4 weeks old from the time I germinated them to what they look like right now. The Seedlings were originally potted in 0.45L Planter Bags with Seed Raising Mix. Pots have half an inch of pumice on the bottom, coco perlite is used as the medium. They are suspended in a static feed mix. The Grow is done in Autopots running a 13mm mainline down to 6mm inlet using Canna Cocos A & B nutrients. (47 liter reservoir). x2 400w Digital Balast's, dimable to 250w, 275w, 400w & 440w. I run x2 250w (500w combined) for Vege, and then back to 400w, after 3 weeks of flower I crank it up to 440w (880w combined). I supplement with FlairForm CMX as Cocos A & B tends to lack these core elements during the regenerative stage (first 3 weeks of flowering, also when they will stretch the most). I use the following additives: General Hydroponics Floralicous , House & Garden Roots Excelurator, House & Garden Aminos Treatment (These are Organic so need to flush main line once a week, or blockages occur), Shooting Powder for week 5 (single strength, makes the bud, bud over existing bud adding to its size and weight) & week 7 (double strength, makes the bud, bud over existing bud adding to its size and weight again, but stonger to give it a final push), PK 13/14 (week 5, adds weight, size to buds and resin production), Drip Clean (Stops organic build up from sticking to pipes and makes weekly flush easier), FlairForm Silika Magic (Good to keep stems strong, allows higher temps). Planning on getting Canna Boost for next grow, to decrease harvest time. Investigating to see if GHS Power Feeding is any better than Cocos A & B, thus simplifying my process. It takes about 3 hours to make up a cocos feed because you have to wait 2 hours after A & B has been mixed to add additives, which in turn have to be diluted into 1 liter of water, plus 2 liters for silkia which must be ph'd to 6.0 before adding to reservoir. 35 liters would mean 35 minus x amount of liters because of additives. Long process, get awesome results. Powder would eliminate the need for the long wait, thus making my life better lol. The plant next to the seedlings is Arjans Haze, I plan to use as mother and make cuttings to put on a bench I plan to make to put on the skirts of my shade and have a bunch of little ones to flower as well, kinda grow some treat buds In the grow room starting from back is White Rhino, then Super Critical, then White Rhino & then White Rhino again. First grow I did Super Critical & Green Poison, I got 13 Oz's Second grow I did all Super Critical & I got 16 OZ's (x1 Pound) (was very happy) This is my Third grow this time around. Plan my Forth to be White Lemon I like to bend over my main stems and SCROG them, fill all my space with as my laterals as possible to allow for an even canopy. After 3 weeks of flower I like to lollipop them, keep a foot from the top node and everything else gets stipped away. Lower canopy is not needed, thus why this is done to allow the plant to concentrate on producing big buds at the top. I use a TurboKlone to make cuttings. Super Critical takes 21 days to root and only makes root nubs. White Rhino takes 9 days to get full on roots. They say White Lemon takes 4 days, can't wait to try I'll keep posting updates...
  5. From the album money maker in coco

another of my money makers grown in coco @8 weeks and 3 days flowered.
  6. so after the last round I decided to demolish my room and transform it into a tree paradise. inspiration was a long time ago by Heath Robinson and this would be my take on "improved" indoor tree setup. my plan is to go with 6 x 600W and 1 x 1000W. 12 plants in a flower-of-life formation(scheme in atach). each would have a 30L(diameter of 40cm) pot filled with pure coco and would be eighter hand fed or dtw... around them would be a chicken wire(10x10cm) for a diameter of 40cm and height of 2m(with the pot). the room has 2m+ celling so I can push them to be as big as 180cm. and now to the strains. since I just hate multistrain grow I am looking for a perfect hybrid, sativa-ish like grow but with huge buds. veg time would be like the flower time so I can flower one round while next one is veging at the same time. so in the pic you can see the arangement. the room is 3x3m and each circle is 60cm in diameter(pot's are 40cm). red is light, green are plants. I would like to openly discuss the setup and find the right strain. info, sugestions, experience and pics are more than wellcome. bless ya all, peace man

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
