Howdy, lets say I've been making BHO for my personal stash for years, and had previously been using an open ended glass blast tube, but I recently got a tiny little closed column extractor to see how it works. What are the differences in using a CC setup as opposed to an open blast setup? Haven't had a chance to use it yet so I figured I better get an idea before I theoretically start... not sure why I'm being theoretical, but oh well lol... Any tips, tricks, etc are appreciated. Growers Love, Saint PS I know I'll need to pull a Vac in the tube, I got that covered. Thanks, all!

I know the title suggests that I myself have these innovative ideas but I've just started putting my brain to these things recently and have only a few thoughts for you This thread is for any plan or idea for making any hash or oil. BHO or ISO, bubble or jelly and all the other vast array of waxes etc. Any new techniques that you incorporate into the current process to make it easier, all that sort of stuff Seasoned pros please feel free to tell all to your fellow 'extractionists' (A new term maybe? ) about any tips and tricks of the trade, sharing knowledge is something that we are all here for. We have all joined the family with that craving for cannabis information I'm sure Anyway, my idea is to use a cafetiere to extract some ISO or even make bubble with the screen plunger. It may take a few runs to properly filter though. I have yet to find out the micron size but it looks pretty good I know you cannot shake it and you may not want squeeze it down too hard when ISO washing. I have heard of people not shaking and just stirring so this should do quite well. It just seems easier to stir, plunge and pour instead of messing about with sieves etc. Im not saying I won't use coffee filters, I may have to but we will see Gonna do it today or tomorrow, I will let you know
About us
Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.
Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
