  1. So. It is finally time to start this new year with a decent grow journal. Thanking GreenHouseSeeds for giving me this amazing opportunity to test out their WhiteRhino strain, and their Bio Feeding Line of powder nutrients. As mentioned in the inscription post, this will be my equipment: - 4x 6500K 35W LED - 4x Full Spectrum 45W LED - The GreenHouseSeed bank BIO Feeding Line - A 60x60x170 SecretJardin Grow Tent - Airflow with one small fan, and 2 filtered extractors (IN and OUT) for 108m3/h. - 2 initial WhiteRhino seeds, 1 will be chosen and brought to flowering. - Pot sizes, varying from 1L, to 6L, to 11L, to 18L. - A scrog net (this will be my first scrog attempt, please be merciful) - A lot of love and joy doing this. And duct tape. And beer. I plan to increase light power with the increased growth. - 1° Week 70W - 2° Week 105W - 3°-5° Week 140W - 6°-7 Week 140W + 45W FS - 8°-12° Week 140W + 90W FS - Remaining Weeks at Maxium Light Output (140W + 180W FS) With this i want to simulate the increased output of the sun, transitioning from spring, to summer. At the end of Week 7 i'll perform the switch to 12-12. I also plan to feed the girls 6 weeks for VEG, and 8 Weeks for Bloom. I'll start feeding at week 4, when i transplant from 6L to the final pot (which i still need to decide between 11 and 18L). This is the current plan for the grow, that WILL be revised as i go on. I'm sharing it just to give an idea. I also tried to germinate one seed some days before the new year, but it popped the surface as a dead seed. The root grew (small), but the small plant never got rid of the seed shells (after 14 days). I started 2 new seeds, and am waiting for them to pop the surface. I will decide between the 2, who gets to stay. Below, some pics of the equipment: This is the light rack i've crafted. Pretty basic, huh? Pot sizes AND room space. The little white buddy on the bottom right is the dehumidifier, that will be turned on when i switch to 12-12. A special thanks to GreenHouseSeeds. You guys are amazing. Nothing left to say, till the girls pop the surface. Until then... Peace!
  2. Hi fellow growers, Putting a thread up here so you can see the progress of one of the four crosses I made with my 'MeshBox Ladies'. The ladies were called the Meshbox Ladies as they started their life off growing in a box made out of mesh and hung on a railing next to a railway siding in late summer 2019. Later, they were placed in a tent in my garage and I built a solar power station to provide their electrical needs. When the autumn turned to winter and sunlight was not providing enough power, I moved them into my Cannavan to finish flowering on mains power, or in my case, to produce seeds. I was gifted some Blood Berries regular seeds together with the 'Quesogood' regular test seeds SubCool sent over from the US in the winter of 2018. I have harvested many wonderful looking seeds, and have germinated a few of each with success. BloodRhino seeds: If you don't know yet, SubCool, from TGA Genetics / SubCool's The Dank, passed away in his sleep a couple of days ago: https://www.celebstoner.com/news/marijuana-news/2020/02/02/subcool-marijuana-breeder-dies/ I crossed his male Blood Berries with a White Rhino (GHS), an Eleven Roses (Delicious Seeds), a DeLaHaze (Paradise Seeds) and a HiFi4G (Dutch Passion). Here is the BloodRhino: The image below is of BloodRhino, not, as labelled, Blood Roses So it's pheno-hunting time for these over the coming months / years. This is my first time every breeding, so I'm learning as I go along, with lots of research and listening [although not necessarily obeying] to advice(s). As this grow log continues, let me know when you see obvious White Rhino trait being displayed by the plant(s). Happy Growing, ShaggyGrower **** NO IMAGES SHALL BE SHARED WITHOUT MY EXPRESS PERMISSION, MESSAGE ME TO DISCUSS *****
  3. Hey guys this is a GHSC run. Four strains, powder feeding and PK booster from the great GHSC. Super Bud Jack Herer Big Bang Super Lemon Haze In 3,6L fabric pots. Unfertilized peat and coarse vermiculite. 40w exhaust fan 15w circulation fan (X2) 8-220w dimmable DIY COB LED (4x citizen clu048 1212). Great new light for some great new strains. This is part of my search for the new favorite strains in my grow room. The big bang and super lemon haze are free promotion seeds and both had bad germination. So instead of the planned 20seedlings only 15popped. So in a panic I cloned my quick flowering mothers and hope to add these clones to the flowering room a week or two later then the seedlings. This is a classic SOG style grow with no veg and many small plants. I hope they will fill out the grow room nicely with many tight colas.
  4. I want to try a CBD strain, so with my joint second place in the previous White Rhino grow, I chose as part of my prize Super Silver Haze CBD seeds. Not much space going forward, but if I don't pop one now, it'll be next year before I can grow one, so into some filtered water a bean went this morning to soak. If she pops, she'll be in with the Crazy Runt grow - two ShaggyParaberry's, a ShaggyLettuceberry; a 1cm Space Cookies clone; and perhaps some Jacky White and White Rhino clones. Happy Growing!
  5. Hi Here is my plan Medium promix plagron straight wiht a layer of coco /perlite for the drain at bottom of pot +_ 5cm Ph down whit lemon or lemon kick (plagron) Grow under 400w mh flower 600w hps For the rest i just use the bio feeding i was hesitadet for myhco but no money to buy it and is a all in formul so maby some yucca extract for spray wiht anhencer en for soil if it dry but i not buy it for the moment biochar looks goed to but not this time i normarly not use 2 tent thats to much électriciti but i realy want to do the contest i think to start for this week-end bye ✌
  6. Hey i have finished moving and after one miserable tent grow i have now setup the new grow room. It is not perfect finish yet, but this will be a test run of the new setup. Especially looking at how i will control the high humidity. The setup is as follows 40w exhaust fan 15w circulation fan X2 110w COB LED X2 The room is covered in panda plastic and is 120cm x 110cm - much like a tent. In this run i will be growing 8x Green Love Potion and 6x White Rhino. The 8GLPs have vegged some time and will get topped multiple times. The 6WRs will hopefully develop one nice cola, kinda SOG, but these clones did very badly and i will see how goes... 12/12 light cycle was initiated 02/09 and i hope to give 8weeks exactly so i can start the next proper SOG grow quickly
  7. Hi all, Woohoo, it's competition time. I have received 10 x White Rhino seeds & GHS BIO powder feedings in good time and I'll be looking to germinate in January. 1.2m2 indoor grow starting off under 1 x 125w blue CFL (perhaps x 2) in a 60cmx60cmx90cm propagation tent. Mulling getting a MH for the rest of veg, else it will be that CFL plus 250w/400 of HPS. 600w/660w HPS for flower (new bulb). 428m3 extraction through carbon filter. Substrate: 70% Canna Coco (unfed, ie, not the Pro Plus) & 30% Perlite - so I can see how JUST the BIO feeds get on. Nutrients: Green House BIO feedings only - Water will be roof run off at a ppm of ~ 40 (ec 0.08) @ 23C. Containers: 1 litre / 11 litre / 46 litre I shall be topping early & LSTing to keep height down. Good luck everyone!
  8. Hello friends, I got the chance to participate to the white-rhino + feeding bio contest... So here I am with first post after the first 15 days of work. During this time I've use simple neons (2x 110w). I've choose a Plagron Lightmix soil to do it. Today I've change the pot size to a 3,5L and started to use my 400 HPS for around 20 days... after that I'll start flowering. I'll try to post every week the evolution of my 6 plants... Hope it will be a success... Oh yeah... sorry for my basic english... will also try to do my best about that for sure ! Have a great week-end friends ! Evolution666 PS: that's the first time I participated to a GH contest... So after checking some other post from the contest, I'll post more pixx & infos about my work asap... CHEERS ! DAY 13:
  9. Hello Im baaaaack I posted here years back, but lost interest in the forum, but now iam back to chek out this amazing new line of bio ferts from GreenHouseSeedsCompany. Iam doing the entire grow indoors, as the seasons where i live do not allow outdoor growing. Lets get straight to it 15/01 - 16/01 The seeds were put in water, and afterwards put in moistened paper towel in a plastic bag. 18/01 8 of 10 seeds were planted in small pots(0,4L) with peat and perlite. Vegging under "50W" LED and watered with BioBizz RootJuice. 21/01 The 9. seed sprouted and was planted together with her other sisters. 28/01 The 10. seed popped (quite unexpectedly), and was moved from its prison in the papertowel and bag to ontop of my livingroom aquarium (a test of mine, hehe). I plan on flowering her in some kind of DWC bucket or something. That is all for now. The plan is to keep them in the small pots for another week(ish) and then transplant them (not sure if i should transplant to their final flowering pots (9,8L) or i should plan on doing two transplants - what do you guy think?). After transplant they will Veg until ~20th. February we're my flower tent will be emptied, harvested and theese WR babies can move into 12/12 in 9,8L fabric pots probably with peat and perlite. I hope to keep you guys updated weekly until then, and then we will have some real fun together when the flowering starts
  10. Hello cannabica family I'm going to work with these beauties of seeds for the follow-up contest. Thank @ Jose.gh for letting me enter the contest and thank G. H. For the fertilizers that seem to be the cane. So I start the White Rhino adventure without further ado Greetings and luck Arrankeddj
  11. Hello everybody, I hope this is the right forum for a topic like this. Im not a marihuana God with 30 years of growing experience (not yet ) and a knowledge like Ed Rosenthal, and cause of this Im searching for opinnions, experience and knowledge of different people. But The MarihuanaGrowingHandbook from Ed Rosenthal is an old friend of me which accompanied me since a few years, and i got some experience with growing marijuana under HPS and LED, and helped a few people with their startink and knowledge problems. I hope i can talk with people about their experience with female seeds from GreenHouseSeedsCompany, because 2-3 years ago i definetly wanted to test some nice landrace strains and some strains from GHSC, cause this company looks kind of friendly and about good quality. Since I baught some Arjans Haze Nr.3 and Himalayan Gold and tried germinate them I lost all my good thinkings about GHSC. 1 of 6 seeds ( 3x AJ3, 3xHG ) germinated, and that was like a beat in my face, I had never problems with germination, even after a few months in the refrigerator. After a few hours in the www i got superficial knowledge and a few curios stories about GHSC and thier formerly and new breeder. Now I hope some people can share her experience with me/ us and this will be a interesting thread. Greetings from a human beeing somewhere in nowhere.:)
This is going to be an organic soil with compost teas for feeding and One being transferred to a solid indoor ebb and flow hydroponic application that is of my own production. Lots of stoke and excitement going on over here and I am very happy and humbled to be able to share my techniques, grows and info to the great community here! Looking forward to bringing this to you with maybe some kool things you have not seen or really payed attention too....? Thanks for taking the time to scope things out! Saludos! MultiTech!
  14. OK, so I haven't seen this before, I've always thought it was necessary but didn't realise it was already being done and so incredibly properly. I believe this facility also take deposits from multinational companies with an interest in the preservation of seed stock from around the world. I am sure GHSC and Strain Hunters keep Mums and seeds in controlled storage, but must live in fear of loss, damage, spoiling or government destruction. I seem to remember a story about some of Arjans parent stock being destroyed in Switzerland?? (May be myth). Anyway, check out the video below, I hope this is of interest to Franco and Arjan. http://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2015/10/22/norway-doomsday-backstory-arwa.cnn
